Jason Snell and his firm are the single reason we were able to recoup any money from our builder when we ran into a contractual disagreement. Without him, we would have probably not only lost our house, but also all the money invested in it.
Through smart application of the law, Jason and co-counsel Lance maneuvered us into a legal position to get the only positive outcome possible.

After I was arrested I searched for and spoke to numerous lawyers and felt no confidence. I began looking through the"Top 22 Lawyers" list and found the Law Offices of Daniel and Hudson. I spoke with the paralegal Brittany and she had a lawyer call me back within minutes. After speaking with the lawyer, Mr. Halstead (a military Veteran) I was more at ease and knew this was the right lawyer. The up front cost wasn't ridiculous and he was already making a plan on how to move forward. We spoke often at his office answering any questions I had and he also called me to let me know what was going on with my case. My charges were very serious and I was originally looking at a possible 25 years, but with his advice to hold out for a better outcome, it was 8 yrs, then it was just probation then it was dismissed. I owe it to Mr. Halstead for his knowledge of the criminal justice system and knowing when and how to present his case. I would "Highly" recommend Mr. Halstead in any criminal case because of his professionalism and knowledge base. Thanks to Mr.Halsted and his team (Brittany and Veronica) I got my life back!

I needed a criminal attorney in Austin Texas that would handle a legal matter in a specific way for me so as to get my Austin, Travis County misdemeanor charge dismissed before I was arrested on the charge and was needing to post bond.
Joseph contacted the DA and arranged for a dismissal of my charge before I was ever arrested or had to go to court.
Before I found Joseph I interviewed a handful of high priced, high rated criminal lawyers in Austin, including a referral from another super lawyer in Dallas County that has handled matters for me. These other Austin lawyers I talked to seemed inflexible and wanted me to go through the entire legal process of turning myself in for the warrant, bonding out, and going to court. A bunch of time and unnecessary bullshit that I knew could be avoided with the right legal approach and the right lawyer to pull it off.
Joseph was the 5 Star Austin attorney that I was looking for and he cost me a third of what the other attorneys in Austin were charging. I am so grateful and appreciative I randomly stumbled across a review from another previous legal client that indicated Joseph was the legal representation that I needed.
I've been around the Texas legal system and I can tell you this is the lawyer you want on your side if dealing with a misdemeanor or even felony charge in Travis County or Georgetown. Seems like a good genuine guy as well. If I ever have another legal matter near Austin 🤞 I need help with i will be reaching out to Joseph.

This review is a long time coming. I've worked with and relied on Shannon on three separate occasions over custody disputes of my eldest daughter. On all three occasions she was able to improve my situation and on two of those occasions where my situation was improved, I was on defense where I was the one that got served papers.
I believe that Shannon's prowess as an attorney actually comes from her compassion for her clients. She really does take the time to listen to and understand the unique situations that each case brings and understand and empathize with the situation. We had our child via surrogate; however, during the height of covid the number of guests in the hospital was limited. Our gestational carrier agreement was in another state and our child was birth in TX. The hospital couldn't do anything to help us and the birth mother was listed as the mother on the birth certificate. To have this change to my name was a challenge. I can’t express enough how thankful I am to have met Josh. I’ve worked with other attorneys for what I assumed were simple modifications and spent thousands, only to find out later that the orders weren’t enforceable, even though a judge signed them. So, when it came time to modify my child support, I knew I needed a lawyer who would get it right.
Initially, I wanted to try and handle things through the Attorney General’s office, but given my luck in the past and my ex-husband’s difficult nature, I wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. I met with several lawyers before Josh, and most charged steep fees for brief, unhelpful consultations. But my experience with Josh was different from the start. He invited me into the office, spent a full hour with me, and was honest about my options. He even advised me to save money by filing with the AG’s office myself—until he heard about my ex-husband’s behavior. At that point, he agreed that having a lawyer was the better choice.
