I sought the counsel of Carlos Salinas for an order of protection from my husband after a very terrifying situation. Carlos was a calming and confident presence during very difficult court proceedings. From the instant I began working with Carlos, it was apparent that he was beyond knowledgeable and experienced with not only family law, but domestic violence and orders of protection as well. Carlos walked me through every step of the process in a manner that was reassuring and comprehensible. It was not just Carlos’s professionalism and expertise that stood out to me however. I hired Carlos Salinas to handle my divorce last year. He was knowledgeable, reliable and always had my back. We managed to avoid going to court and I felt the way things were settled was very fair.
Unfortunately, months later and a few weeks into the COVID-19 pandemic, a loose end popped up that was out of our control. Carlos quickly rushed to my aid and helped me ensure that the divorce decree was upheld. With all the stress related to the pandemic, I couldn't have imagined going through it alone and was so relieved to have him in my corner.

I am a C-level executive, who was married to my stay-at-home ex-wife for 23 years, with a lot to lose. Kylie represented me in my divorce case and helped me negotiate a settlement that was well more to my advantage than I had expected and been told by others.
Kylie picked up my case when my prior attorney was not able to make any headway – let alone get any response out of the opposing counsel. They are highly knowledgeable professionals, and a very client service focused firm. Spoke to John’s Legal Secretary about my ticket situation, gave me a price $$, sent over contract, signed it, paid. Within a couple of hours, she told me (via phone) we had a court date set. She assured me that I wouldn’t have to appear in court, but be by your phone, just in case. I received a call from John’s Legal Secretary an hour after my court date appearance, with some great news, CASE DISMISSED. John saved me $734.70 and no more WARRANT, and not to mention if I had to appear in court, I would lose a couple of hours of work.

I totally forgot about a court date in Refugio county. The court put a hold on my license and charged me with failure to appear. Due to just losing my job, I couldn't afford to fix this problem all at once. Elvia and John helped get me deferred adjudication while establishing a payment plan with the court and their firm. No other firms in the area we're willing to do that for me but I now have everything paid, my license hold removed and no ticket on my record.

Literally are horrible people unless you pay them an arm and leg then they’ll just take half to the prosecutor to get the case thrown. Other than that if you or anyone you know loved ones, friends, family etc. They are in for it!! PREPARE to be treated as if you wanting to know what’s going on with your case is annoying them… they will not return calls or emails! The receptionist has the attitude of a 17 year old taking orders at McDonald’s!
