I felt Tony was overrated. He came recommended by a friend, but he lost my case. Tony's friendly but I needed results. He also charges for every smallest thing. In the end, the result was my ending up in a worst situation.

You can hire Mr.Jim if you want to throw your money to the garbage, and surely, he charges a lot 600/hour. He has temperament issues, he got mad with the judge due to the old age complications and results would not be in your favor end of the day.
He has a tendency to file more lawsuits while you are already running a case, for example, you are running divorce, he will ask to file enforcement and you will lose both. He does this so that he can make more money. I have seen his case and hearing many times. He didnt research, came unprepared, changed his positions and wondered around so he couldn't make his point.
You can go to judge and tell your case on your own rather than hiring Mr Jim.

I have been in and out of court with my son's father for the last six years. I had a very unfortunate event with my other infant child (my son's little sister) having a severe chromosomal deficiency which kept her in Texas Children's Hospital in Houston until she passed at 6 months. During that very emotionally weak time my son's father saw an opportunity to take me back to court with a fictitious and fabricated evidence. I was served with papers of the hearing at the Roland McDonald House while my daughter was in the hospital and we had the court hearing one month after my sweet daughter passed. I was literally still in shock and standing in court without any representation. Without the ability to present my case I was unable to provide documentation to disprove the father's false accusations. I had been the primary parent all of my son's life and then in that unprepared moment it was changed over to his father.
So, one month after I lost my daughter in the hospital, I lost custody of my son in court. This created a huge emotional distress on my son's life as he went from only being in preschool two days a week to losing his sister, changing his primary residence to his father, and being placed in full-time daycare for the first time in his life.
I consulted with many lawyers and finally put my complete faith in James "Jake" Gilbreath's Law Firm. He lined up the appropriate experts and reviewed my case that James "Jim" Piper who agreed to serve as co-counsel. These two attorneys worked seamlessly on my case and started preparing litigation to discredit the prior ruling.

I searched around and spoke to a few lawyers that didn’t want to take my simple divorce case. I continued searching, and then found the Shannon Family Law Firm. The reviews are not perfect, but overall there seemed to be more pleased clients who used them. So I decided to call and I won’t go into a lot of detail, but I have spoken with the paralegal Jodie Ward-House and attorney Richard Shannon whom I have decided to hire for my case. Jodie and Richard have been very kind and thorough in explaining the details of how my particular case should work if all goes well. My case is new and just starting. I may post another review in the future about this firm after my case is finished. However, based on the previous phone conversation I had with Jodie and phone consultation I had with Richard Shannon was very pleasing. We’ll see how this goes. I would recommend them if need consultation about a divorce case. I have a better understanding about my particular case.

Absolute charlatans. Initially spoke with Kennedy who told me everything I wanted to hear and referred me to Alonzo. All I was asking for is to have the court and force my custody rights in the Texas divorce decree. After draining my wallet for $25,000 over 2 years my case never got in front of a judge. My ex-wife's crackerjacks lawyer from some legal.com website kept my lawyer on her heels the entire time. My lawyer also found inventive ways to charge me more money and get a psychiatrist friend of hers into my pocket as well. Adding insult to injury, a friend of mines mother works at a competing law firm and was blown away that Gray and Becker was so ineffectual over something so black and white as custody outlined in a divorce decree IN THE SAME STATE THE DIVORCE WAS PROPAGATED.

Terrible Divorce Lawyer - Do Not Hire
I would not recommend this lawyer for your divorce. Not only is he incredibly unprofessional, but he also fails to deliver on basic legal responsibilities. He never filed any of the necessary documents for my divorce, and I was left completely in the dark throughout the process. He doesn't answer calls, doesn't follow up, and completely ignores your concerns. I regret choosing him and would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

No for Court appointed attorney!
My Son was apprehensive about receiving a court appointed attorney for a Serious charge in Williamson County. Court appointed Attorneys are known for putting very little into their clients cases.
He was absolutely right ! The day of court Gorski still had not talked with my Son , he didn’t review the pertinent videos that would have helped showed self defense & get his bond reduced and he didn’t talk to witnesses. Prior to court my Son tried to call him but he was blown off. Every time I talked with him he reminded me how busy he was handling another important case. He would say my Sons case was going to take a long time & he was very busy. He kept lying saying he was going to look at the videos & when asked did he look at the videos he said “no I’m so busy”. That’s unprofessional. Your work load (other cases) should never be your clients problem. We understood the case wasn’t going to be resolved quickly. We asked him to at least get the bond decreased. He failed at that because he wasn’t prepared & didn’t know enough about the case to justify the request for a reduced bond. He didn’t have the decency to inform my Son he wasn’t successful. He had me do it. When my son talked to him 2 months later via phone, Gorski told him he’s setting up to go to trial in January. Gorski you’re supposed to discuss this with your client before making a decision like this. My son had to ask him to schedule a bond hearing.(the Judge recommended this in court). He still hadn’t looked at the videos & he still hadn’t talked with witnesses. I advised my Son to release him. I hired an attorney (Winters & Chidester). Within 2 weeks these lawyers looked at the video, talked with my Son, sat down, showed & talked to the prosecutor to show my Sons side of the story, the prosecutor agreed after seeing the videos it’s a probable self defense case. The bond was reduced & he was released. No matter what a person’s financial barrier is, it is your duty to treat your clients with respect, dignity and due diligence. I’m a Nurse I practice this every time I work. If you can’t do this stop accepting these clients Gorski. I recommend you ask for another Lawyer if he’s assigned to you. He lacks integrity, he’s belittling, and unprofessional. I do not recommend.

I chose this law firm from my legal protection plan. I consulted with attorney Mario Flores on the phone for 8 minutes and sent him documents to review. His legal assistant put me on his calendar. Toward the end of that day, I called during business hours, but no one answered. I reached Mario on his cell phone, and he said his assistant "messed up" when scheduling. He said he had not reviewed my case and would not look at it until the following Monday. I reached out twice since then, but he did not return my calls or emails. It is apparent he is not interested in helping me further, but I would have preferred he told me that rather than ignoring me. My legal plan paid him a full consultation fee for an initial 8 minute converation, followed up by a one-minute call where he treated me rudely.

This is either a very convincing internet scam, or John is a very poor lawyer. After paying his invoice I have essentially lost contact. I went to the littlefield building listed as his office online and could not find any record of Coonley law from the folks I talked to. Please choose another firm at all costs. UPDATE: after asking for a refund, John finally had the time of day to speak with me. He agreed to give me a refund for some LLC filing fees I had paid him. (He never got the filing completed). I have since been trying to follow up and actually receive said refund for over 3 weeks now, but still have had no luck. This man is an absolute scumbag and a joke of an attorney. How he is able to practice law is a crime itself. I leave this review in hopes that nobody else ever has to deal with a crook like John like I did.

However, as the case progressed, I began to notice a concerning shift. What started as a proactive and client-focused approach gradually turned into a frustrating experience. It became increasingly clear that the level of care and diligence I initially received was no longer a priority. I initially chose JP Law Office for my divorce case based on their reputation and the promising start I experienced. Nicolette was approachable, proactive, and seemed genuinely committed to guiding me through this challenging time. In the beginning, I felt confident that I was in good hands. Their close attention to detail and prompt responses gave me hope that my case would be handled with the utmost professionalism.
However, as the case progressed, I began to notice a concerning shift. What started as a proactive and client-focused approach gradually turned into a frustrating experience. Communication became less frequent, and important aspects of my case seemed to be overlooked or delayed.Instead we were wasting hours in not so important details. It became increasingly clear that the level of care and diligence I initially received was no longer a priority. They were managing different cases but also mine and they had no incentives to spend the hours in the relevant and important details.
Unfortunately, this decline in service had significant consequences. Not only did it lead to unnecessary delays, but it also resulted in considerable financial strain and a disastrous sentence. I had expected a higher standard of service, especially considering the costs involved. Instead, I was left feeling that my resources were wasted, with little to show for the time and money invested.

I hired Kelly back in August 2019, notified him of my situation and asked if he could help me retain rights to my daughter. Not only did we not get anything accomplished he took $6900 of mine and for two months did not even contact me after telling me he was going to submit everything to the courts and I should hear back ASAP from him. That being said it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney. Don’t want anyone else to have to go down the route like I did.

So far Chris has been very responsive to my emails and following up with my questions. He seems to know quite a bit about "the system" and I am hopeful that my case will dissolve here quickly. This lawyer is VERY rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. After a loooonngggggg time of going through a divorce with Chris McHam representing me, he has literally done nothing. He charges me for the mistakes that HE makes; and then they're not even correct- like misspelling my name and takes MONTHS to respond to an email and then only writes one sentence and charges me $100 when he didn't even address my concerns. He also doesn't answer the phone when called several times concerning important things. When I'm talking he tells me to "stop talking" and laughs - when I am addressing concerns- very disrespectful. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! He'll take your money and not do anything.

When I first hired Marshall, I really felt that he was going to help my and my daughter, or at least that's what he said. Although, I had years of well-documented evidence to provide to the court, Marshall's poor decision-making and lack of planning led my family down a nightmarish path. When I became so fearful for my daughter's safety that I asked him to non-suit the case, he refused. Then, he strolled into final hearing with very little preparation, despite our pleading, and erased any progress we had made. His poor and reckless decisions and final positions were not at all what I wanted, and angered the judge who made me and my young child pay the price. He then tried to imply that my situation was not that bad by disclosing details of other cases and terrible outcomes, in order to minimize his failure. We will forever be paying for Marshall's poor judgment and poor planning. My family will never be the same.

I was not impressed during my initial consultation with Mrs. Baldinelli. She was disheveled, unorganized and a hot mess. Two attorney friends assured me she was a good lawyer and knew her stuff. Against my gut feelings, I hired her to represent me for a child support modification. The outcome was abysmal. She appeared in court unprepared, requested documents from me only the day before which did not give me time to prepare them as it was a work day. She did not oppose untruths thrown out by the opposing counsel. She did not fight for me at all in the court room and it was as if she had a "deal" already worked out with opposing counsel. She has cost me way more money that I will ever see in child support. It was very sad and I would be ashamed of my life's work if this is how it culminated. The opposing counsel chewed her up and spat her out while she sat there dumbfounded and unable to collect a response much less put together any credible arguments. Run, don't walk away from this attorney.

It was horrible to speak with her. It was supposed to be a $20 consultation that they decided to add over a $100 to and then decided to add even more in costs. I thought finally I would be able to at least pay someone to look at the evidence. I paid at least $300 for May Yang to talk over me, tell me how I was uncooperative, refused to look at the evidence I had to pay extra to submit, put me under pressure to answer her why questions correctly and interrupt the questions she allows me to voice. It was maddening. It was rude. She would say she doesn't know much about immigration law and then tell me how I was wrong about immigration law despite 30 years experience in the field. She never bothered to get to know me nor what my concerns were. She took the money for the consultation, it was beyond a reasonable amount, and failed to deliver. She charges $300 an hour And Is Not Worth It. Not to me is it worth it. I am out of money for a person who wanted to complain about me during the consultation. She is extremely inconsiderate. She apparently likes to cuss a lot focusing on the F word and the S word. I didn't mind that part. But she does like to do that if you want to spend your money to listen to it.
