Carolyn is an excellent lawyer! She was a steady guide during what was a very difficult divorce. When I had questions and concerns she took time to address them with me and made sure I fully understood each step of the process. She was reassuring, confident, and patient, which really helped me feel like I was in good hands. Most importantly she was willing to fight when necessary but also wise to counsel when compromise and mediation were the best avenue. When things were dragging on the opposing side, she kept them moving! And I felt the billing was clear and fair. I'd highly recommend Ms. Collins to anyone seeking a truly skilled and compassionate lawyer.

I initially chose JP Law Office for my divorce case based on their reputation and the promising start I experienced. Nicolette was approachable, proactive, and seemed genuinely committed to guiding me through this challenging time. In the beginning, I felt confident that I was in good hands. Their close attention to detail and prompt responses gave me hope that my case would be handled with the utmost professionalism.
However, as the case progressed, I began to notice a concerning shift. What started as a proactive and client-focused approach gradually turned into a frustrating experience. Communication became less frequent, and important aspects of my case seemed to be overlooked or delayed.Instead we were wasting hours in not so important details. It became increasingly clear that the level of care and diligence I initially received was no longer a priority. They were managing different cases but also mine and they had no incentives to spend the hours in the relevant and important details.
Unfortunately, this decline in service had significant consequences. Not only did it lead to unnecessary delays, but it also resulted in considerable financial strain and a disastrous sentence. I had expected a higher standard of service, especially considering the costs involved. Instead, I was left feeling that my resources were wasted, with little to show for the time and money invested.

I used Shane and his team once again. This time was to ensure that my daughter was to remain living in Texas with me. This is the third time that I have needed help from the McFarland Law Firm. This was my first time working with his new team that includes Mo and Anna. Once again, McFarland law did not disappoint. Communication was clear, honest, and above all constant. Brilliant strategies in court. Shane and team were very honest and clear about all the options that could happen moving forward so that there were no real surprises. Shane will tell you what you don't want to hear as well. This kind of honesty is important as well. Shane and his team demonstrated the upmost professionalism towards the the other parties involved even when emotions ran a bit high.

I hired McFarland Law to represent me in my divorce and the subsequent appeal. I found Mr McFarland provided sound counsel based on deep family law expertise, and also he and his staff went far beyond when the going got tough with a short deadline and a mountain of records to tease apart to reveal the truth. I am a single mom that hired Sam Colletti to assist in filing an emergency petition for modification of my children's visitation schedule. I could not have asked for a better experience. Bob is a straight shooter and a good man to have on your side. Thankfully we settled in mediation for 50/50 custody and looking back I wish I had been more aggressive as Bob advised on the child support and financial aspects but that's my fault not his. He was a rock in the mediation room and though we didn't have to go to a courtroom I have first-hand accounts from others that he's a fine litigator. He's very fair with his billing, farming out the more time-consuming aspects of documentation, financial spreadsheets etc to Blake at a lower rate. My total fees were less than half of my ex's despite hers being nominally a lower hourly rate than Bob. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Law Office of Robert E. Raesz, Jr. at the time of extreme stress and despair, when the only thought going through my mind was to protect my children from an unhealthy and unsafe marriage I was in. The team over at CHA were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish they made sure that everything was just so and as a result I am legally me. 😊 Not only do I not dread social situations where I may be carded anymore, or going through the airport, I'm excited about being carded (which at 40 is no small feat 😅)
Are the services offered absolutely necessary? No, you can go through this process on your own, but their fees were not exorbitant by any stretch and they were work every penny for the peace of mind alone that it was being done right and wouldn't get kicked back.

My ex-wife filed for divorce and then proceeded to try to have my family and friends removed from my kids lives. She made up numerous lies about me and even at one point attempted to sue me for a large sum of money in addition to the divorce proceedings. My attorney was Craig Lusk and not only did he disprove all of her bogus claims. He got the suit dropped and NEVER lost in court 1 time (we went to court about 8 different times). The proof is in the pudding...the last time we were in court was over a year ago yet my ex-wife is presently posting false negative reviews against Mr. Lusk. She is a very vindictive and angry person, even posting negative reviews against the 3 lawyers that fired her as a client. Her false review titled the "Worst of the Worst" (posted by Adrianna which so happens to be the name of my last girlfriend) Is a completely fake review full of false information. That review states Mr. Lusk sent his Junior Associate to court in his place. Mr. Lusk handles all cases himself and does not have this person in his office. I hired Mr. Lusk in 2010 and last went to court with him in 2014 and he personally was there every time.
Mr. Lusk is a very professional, dedicated, responsible attorney. He takes care of his clients...He is very good at what he does and if I had not hired him I would have not had the custody of my children that I have now and would have suffered more from her unethical tactics and deceit.
My divorce was very ugly...If you are attacked you need to protect yourself and Mr. Lusk can do that. He protected me so well, my ex-wife is slandering him 12 months after the case is over!

Excellant lawyer. He was recommended to me by an attorney in Houston. Very knowledgable about the current laws. Excellant staff. Things don't happen quickly in the courts but Craig is always on his A game when time comes to be before the judge. He helped me with my divorce after 32 years of marriage and everything went according to plan. I would not want to get another divorce but if I did I would use him and would recommend him to anyone. Excellant attorney and I consider him my good friend after what he helped me through.

I consulted with Sharlann Roe over probating my brother's will in Texas when his estate was in Colorado and she gave me excellent advice and took whatever steps were needed that I could not do myself. I hired her again when I needed to probate my aunt's more complicated estate in Texas.
I called her again for a consultation when a male family member needed help with a child support case. Once again, she gave me excellent advice and demonstrated genuine concern for my family and the children involved. I believe I also hired her to complete a simple will for me, as well. (My relationship with her goes back at least 17 years and my aging mind will sometimes push older dates and data aside to make room for new ones.)
I can highly recommend her for both probate and family law and I have just called for an appointment to hire her again, this time to help my son with a family matter. I'm glad to have discovered this website for the opportunity to add my recommendation.

I had 2 previous attorneys who made a mess out of a messy divorce. Sharlann had to come in at the last minute to defend me the best she could to try to make the best of the worst case scenario. I had pity on her as she tried to redirect the judges rulings which were very biased for my ex. She succeeded on some areas but tried her darnedest to help me. I knew she cared a lot to see me suffer for a variety of areas, I won't get into here. She gave me wise counsel as a friend would too. I know she truly cares for me and my daughter and she has showed it in the years past the initial court hearings as we had to go several more rounds with my ex with regards to other hearings. I would trust her brilliance and also her character.. which many know is not always the case with attorneys. Hire her and say Celeste sent you!

I called Robert as I needed a divorce lawyer and he was on my prepaid legal service. When he called me back, he let me know right away that he was pretty booked and would not be able to take my divorce/custody battle case, but then proceeded to provide me with lots of tips on the upcoming divorce. He answered quite a few questions I had, and when I let him know I was also interviewing another lawyers, he volunteered to give me what he knew about the lawyer and did.

Mr. Spears represented me for a very messy, ugly, and drawn out seperation/child custody dispute.
He was very honest and up front of his perception of the case and my chances of custody. He gave invaluable advice and reccomendations that proved to be the difference between me recieving primary custody or just visitations with my children. Mr. Spears always made clear his fees and charges for representation and kept me up to date with monthly statements clearly itemized with time spent on my case.He always made the most efficent use of our time together and never "racked up hours". Mr. Spears seems well connected and very well liked when at the courthouse, in hearings, and interacting with judicicial staff.He is a very experienced, methodical, and articulate litigator. His skills in negotiation, mediation, and thinking outside the box are truly a rarity. Mr. Spears was always candid and responsive to issues that arose. Communication was always open with phone calls and emails being returned in a very timely manner. I could go on and on of what a great attorney he is but to to simplify it : When you need an attorney ecspecially in cases of child custody, you don't want to take a chance with a sub par clock watcher who never takes a genuine interest in the well being of your children. Mr Spears is the most persuasive, assertive, competent, and one of the most genuinely decent men I have ever met. Jack recently represented us in a CPS trial. It was a tricky case that involved another family as well as our own. We were terrified but Jack absolutely came through for us. Neither myself nor my husband had ever been involved in any sort of legal problems before and he was there for us every step of the way. As awful as our situation was, we thought there was no way we would lose our case because we hadn't done anything wrong. After an initial hearing (with another attorney that was friends with Jack and referred us after the first hearing), we realized just how serious our situation was. Apparently civil cases don't need the burden of proof that criminal cases do to convict, and with our children being threatened, well, there just aren't words for what we felt. Jack walked us through the entire process and his knowledge on the topic of family law was intimidating to say the least. I hope that no one ever has to experience what our family experienced but if you do, you could not place your trust in a more deserving individual. He absolutely knows what he is doing.
Just to add, I will say that we were initially put off by his office because I think we expected some nice, spacious room with a bunch of furniture that never gets used, plants all over the place, etc., and I think we called him entirely too often because of our inexperience with attorneys but he was never impatient with us and always returned our calls as soon as he was able. Oh, and for anyone familiar with CPS, even though we lost the initial hearing, our case was, for all intents and purposes, over only a month later. Even though we didn't have another hearing for 6 months, we did everything Jack asked us to which showed the Judge that we had nothing to hide. CPS allowed our children home well before the closing date of our case.
