I was referred to Andrew Lieberman by a personal friend. I met Andrew for my consultation and at that moment I knew he was the one that would represent me in my case for custody/overnights for my baby boy. It was a battle to get overnights with my son and the mother was putting up every wall possible for me to prevent me from getting overnights. We cannot recommend hiring Jacqueline enough. We had been hitting walls for almost 2 years trying to settle a dispute over a mortgage with an ex and we thought we were out of options. I was referred to Ms. Bourassa recently to handle my divorce. She stated at our first meeting she would handle the case and get it done the way I asked. She also is extremely responsive and actually returns phone calls. While at time I got excited and vented my needs during the progress of this case, Ms Bourassa remained calm advising me to to the same. She also advised me to simply let most of my demands lay, and get on with my life. Good advice, which I eventually followed. Don't let Jaquiline's soft voice and calm demeanor fool you, chances are if you follow her advice your case will resolve itself quickly and in the manner you wanted, mine did.

I came to see Anne during the worst week of my life. I was an emotional basket case. She was very professional and made time to see me right away. This past Spring during COVID-19, I virtually purchased a home in Delray Beach Florida. Mr Brofsky charged a very fair rate, was very involved with my case and walked me through everything in a manner in which I could understand. Let’s face it, divorce is never something that is easy or painless for anyone involved. It forces us to expose our “underbellies” when we already feel vulnerable and afraid. OK.... First, let me state my exwife has forced me into court 4 times. All of the legal proceedings were were unnecessary and vindictive. I have paid everything the courts required and have never been late. I hired Mr. Smith for a child support modification. Opposing counsel was Boca Raton's high profile "Paper Boy".... a guy known for running up fee's and playing on the emotions of mostly angry clients. Andrew Smith destroyed this guy in court. He fought ethically and honorably. What I found most interesting was our first meeting. In the course of 1 hour he laid out what the legal issue was, what was going to happen, and how he would approach the other side. He was 100% correct.
If you are going through the unfortunate process of divorce / child support, etc....... You owe it to yourself to hire this guy. Iv had 4 attorneys and hands down this guy was the best. ...... In terms of honesty, competence, ethics and appropriate aggressive litigation..... this guy gets an A++. Hire him. You will be glad you stumbled on this review.

I myself was facing the situation when I was sent the divorce notice through my husband's attorney in Florida, while I was in Michigan. Steve Pesso has been my attorney for nearly 10 years. I’m one of the tough divorce cases that was tricky to start with, go through, and has lingering issues due to a textbook narcissistic ex. From the beginning, Steve has demonstrated great insight to psychology of personality and remains calm in spite of family law’s notorious roller coaster rides.
He prepared my case for trial with remarkable detail and during the trial, told the story of my life which (without going into detail) made it crystal clear to the judge to rule in favor of me.
The way he prepped me prior to trial was key as well, as that translated to me knowing how to handle the opposing counsel’s purposeful digs aimed at getting under my skin and trying to make me lose my cool.
He is grounded and affable with the opposing counsel and treats the other party with dignity and respect. This is important because it diffuses that go-to drama so many divorce attorneys rely on.
Steve tells me the way it is. Sometimes that really irks me, but he does not make promises he can’t deliver. I know he has my back and I’ve been able to truly count on him during the worst times of my life.
