My wife was sponserd by an employer in U.S.A. , and my family( with two kids), myself, and my wife came to U.S.A. in 1998 . February. I did not have even a work permit at that time as I was a dependent of my wife. It was this Lawyer`s efficiency, not even before 2 years , I myself and my whole family got "Green Cards" at the same time as a one bunch. This is not only the beauty of this Lawyer. There was a guy who jumped from a ship and stayed in U.S.A. for more than 5 years helplessly, with out a single paper, I just introduce this Lawyer for consultation, it was my surprise just with in 6 months time, this Layer handled his case, and this guy`s wife and his only child who was in Srilanka got working visas and came to U.S.A and got "Green Cards".That is the beauty of this Lawyer, but she is not "Cheap", same time, she is not running after your money, if she cannot handle your case she will tell you at the start. I hired RoseAnn after years of representing myself. She was not intimidated by my ex's high priced attorneys who tried to bully her. I was recently in a difficult--and frankly, scary--dispute with my landlord, and initially felt completely intimidated and overwhelmed by the situation. I hired Mr. Colllins for my child support modification. I am happy that I hired Mr. Collins. He got right to work with a pending deadline to respond, and listened to all my cares and concerns and voiced them for me at court. I've been to court for this same exact reason before without representation, and I know for a fact the outcome would've been different without Mr. Collins. I consulted with other attorneys prior to speaking with David, but he's the only one that gave me hope and that can mean a lot during stressful times. Mr. Collins fought for me in that courtroom, and if that's what you're looking for, I strongly recommend David.

David J. Collins is very responsive to needs of his client, did a good job of keeping me informed throughout my case. He sets realistic expectations when it comes to establishing goals for my case. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Thank you William!!! I was in a car accident back in August of last year and felt completely overwhelmed and helpless. I knew I was not at fault and didn't know where to start. I didn't have an attorney but found Deon from searching online and reading reviews. From our initial consultation I knew I was in good hands with William. Even though my case wasn't a huge one, he didn't hesitate at all to help me. I would not wish anybody to have to go through a divorce. It is an emotionally charged event that is filled with stress. Pauline is an attorney that educated me on the law. When I thought she was wrong she would present me with case law showing me that I would be throwing money away if she followed my directives. She told me when I was grasping for straws. Pauline focused me on the reality of situation. She is one of the few attorneys that presents solutions that keep your billable hours down. California family law is counter intuitive and unfair in many regards. Rulings are inconstant, so much depends upon the judge that is assigned to your case. Pauline researched and advised strategy based upon the judge assigned to my case. If you are looking for an attorney that will guide you through this process, that is looking out for your best interest both in outcome and expense, then hire Pauline as your attorney!

My 2 year old child was abducted by her mentally unstable mother from our home in CA to her native Norway. On top she filed a baseless domestic abuse charge against me which threw me temporarily out of my house. A friend advised me to contact Pauline. I had mixed feelings at first because she had not handled an international abduction case before and I knew that the odds were against me as the father with a young female judge in CA and Norwegian judges to deal with if we would win in CA. Pauline confirmed the difficult road ahead openly and told me that she would be personally committed and study the international treaties involved without guaranteeing success and be in constant feedback/consultation. As a CEO of a large multinational I had experience with a lot of inside and top lawyers outside over my 20 years building my career. Pauline stood out! She has that unique combination of being down to earth/facts, communicating, listen, develop a joint strategy and go really deep and personal resulting in prime teamwork and effectively defining parts of international law that were uncharted under the Den Hague treaty against international abduction. In short: - The domestic violence accusation was denied. - The child abduction was confirmed in LA Court. - It was upheld in appeal in LA. - The Court granted me (father) full legal and physical custody with limited supervised visitation for mother. With the mother and child being in hiding in Norway this was unenforceable. - With the help and direction of Pauline we invoked the international Den Hague treaty in court in Norway with the help of a local associated law firm. - Despite my child's Norwegian citizenship the Norwegian court ruled that the child should be returned to me in CA, upholding the original CA court order. - In appeal the Norwegian high court upheld the ruling. As a result of our teamwork my daughter is now happily living with us and has very limited visitation with her mother. She is almost 7 now and fighting visitations so we have a new problem brewing. All of this would not have happened if Pauline had acted like a corporate or bureaucratic lawyer. She took the time to familiarize herself with the details of international child abduction and made the crucial difference resulting in me having my kid back. Her deep personal involvement and team working between us led to this highly unusual success and I am grateful. Her hourly rate is steep but she is worth it and the final cost goes down a lot if you prepare yourself beforehand. We are absolute happy with the way she handled our case and the result.

I have hired Suanne honey to represent me in a very complex high conflict divorce case. Before meeting her through word of mouth I had dealt with two incompetent attorneys who showed great skill in charging me before showing their skill in Law and neither could be trusted. I let my boyfriend buy a truck with my credit in 2000. He got in a bad accident. My boyfriends insurance settled the accident for 250k. But the other guys insurance kept harassing me and threatening to sue me. Oscar got them off my back and they never contacted me again! Thank you Oscar!

We had a difficult Custody issue that E. Scott Clarke and the firm helped us with. He actually made himself available to our whole family and really was responsive. Several times we called his cell phone late at night and he answered and walked us through our issues. We got good orders now and some peace for my Daughter and my grandaugher. Their staff and attorneys really seemed to genuinely care and did a great job!

These guys were really great. An unexpected, but very serious, issue came up within our family. Our initial contact was with Mr. Clarke. Peggy was my divorce lawyer through a long and complex divorce. She was great in court - everyone knew her and she had the highest respect of the judges and other lawyers. My son needed to hire a lawyer to get visitation and then his ex filed domestic violence charges. She presented his case very fair and fought to have his rights to be a father. When he was being denied overnights she fought with the other attorney and then went straight to the city attorney and negotiated. She knew her way in the court and knew exactly how to present his case and fight for the rights of my granddaughter to be part of her father's life. The baby is turning 6 this year and we have been a part of her life thanks to the court assistance of Ms. Pendergast. In a court system where father's rarely are heard or recognized she proved that fathers if they fight hard will get a fair deal in court. If you are a father getting played by your ex this is the right lawyer for you. She makes it simple and to the point. Having the right to raise a child priceless!

Although I would have preferred a mediated divorce, my ex wanted to fight it out with lawyers. I reluctantly asked around and, after false starts with others, landed in David Bodney's office. What a stroke of fortune. David's confident—but not cocky—demeanor granted me a much-needed measure of calm and relief as he explained how things would go, with just the right level of detail. My divorce took almost two years to complete. Along the way were court filings, measures and counter-measures, court appearances (pre-Covid), a 3-hour deposition with my ex's attorneys, a re-start when she fired her attorneys and hired a new one, and finally a negotiated settlement just before the final court date. At each step of the process, David outlined what to expect, what was unpredictable, and what steps we could take to protect my interests and our kids. I felt expertly counseled. He was very efficient with his time and my money and I always felt that his interest was aligned with my own—to get through the process as quickly and fairly as possible. His staff was thorough and timely. Although he's a busy guy, he always found time to either answer my calls or respond quickly. I have nothing but good to say about David Bodney. A good friend had a very similar experience so there's another vote of confidence. Family law is a tough arena to operate in. David has the just the right touch for it.

I met Caleb when he was pretty much fresh out of law school and helped me gather evidence to combat a contempt of court my ex-husband had filed against me (for taking our child to a Dr. appointment without providing the appropriate warning) while I was unemployed. Caleb understood that my ex-souse's filing was merely a tactic to financially ruin me and he wholeheartedly and tirelessly worked on my case. Several months later, late 2014, Caleb's very well written court brief got us well on the path of victory. Admittedly, Caleb's oral defense was not quite as imposing as it could be, but again, he was pretty much fresh out of school. Caleb helped me again in 2015-2016 when my ex filed another suit against me. This time, after months of attempting to settle with the opposite side, in order to avoid another expensive trial, it became clear that my ex wanted his day in court. Michelle is amazing, Having to deal with my legal issues was stressful. I don’t know what to expect. When I met Michelle for the first time she was easy to talk to, answered all my questions and explained how things would go each step of the way. She was always available to answer my questions. I feel like she worked really hard to help the judge understand my situation and took time to write an extensive client report that was helpful and supportive to my case. 4.8.14 “In short, I was represented. Robert Borsky pulled it in, got control, then got it done, instead of taking me for a ride. My only regret besides having to go through this travesty called “Family Law”, is not engaging Robert Borsky from the very beginning.” My divorce took 6 long years to finish from February 2008 to January 2014. Seven attorneys later, it was the divorce from hell that would not end. Having to thank the corrupted “Industry” of California Family Law for that, too much time, energy and all of my resources were completely wasted, only to see my entire family become the victims. I’ve experienced the “super attorney” who was only super at keeping me on the clock as they dragged their feet with delay after delay, only to satisfy their own financial interests, to the attorney who was very hard working and honest but lacked courtroom savvy/experience and the ability to get things done. The other five attorneys were everything else in between. My case was a train running out of control because of bad and/or dishonest representation (or lack of). I met Robert Borsky at a workshop he was heading in 2008 that offered assistance to those who wanted to educate themselves on the subject and process of divorce. I liked his workshop and message and decided to give him a call after being betrayed and abandoned by attorney number 6. My brief experience with Mr. Borsky was a very positive one. Besides being very accessible, he was always well prepared in our meetings both in and out of court and would exercise his ability to collaborate and contribute good ideas which complimented his knowledge of family law and my case. Always fair and honest and fully engaged, he also shared a sensitivity level that really helped me rebuild my confidence towards a resolution to my case especially after six laborious years of litigation. Additionally, he had no problem exercising his bravado in court or asserting himself when dealing with the rouge antics of opposing counsel. In short, I was represented. Robert Borsky pulled it in, got control, then got it done, instead of taking me for a ride. Nico represented my husband and I for our complicated child custody case. We are located in TN and my step daughter was there in CA. After speaking to a couple of lawyers we spoke to Nico and immediately knew that we wanted her to represent us. We are so happy that we made that decision. Child custody is rarely easy and often messy. She did everything in her power to make the process as simple as she could for us. Nico represented me in a messy and contested custody dispute that crossed state lines. READ THIS if you are looking for a good Immigration Layer... We had a truly wonderful experience with Mr. Castro and his Legal team- it took all of the stress of visa processing away! We worked with Victor and his team, and they were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. They were always fast but careful and made sure that all of our documentation was correct in every way. We also felt like they cared about us and made sure we got our visa approved (we worked first on my Green card and then with the Naturalization process) and they were so excited for us when it did! It certainly doesn't feel like the scary lawyers I used to picture. Mr. Castro and his team are honest and what you will pay is a fair price considering all the value that you get from them. For anyone that is unsure about all the paperwork, having lawyers that really care about you and your situation is an absolute must, and I would recommend Castro Legal.

I am still going through the most difficult and worse time of my entire life dealing with divorce paperwork and a long and drawn out custody battle. Mr. Castro and his professional team at Castro Legal have not only been helpful but very kind to assist me and my family during this time. Even though the final verdict has not been given, I still think it is important to write this review. Mr. Castro deserves to be recognized as one of San Jose's finest attorneys at law. His honesty is his strength and his disposition in court is of a real gentlemen. A quality we do not come across often these days. I am thankful that I have entrusted my concerns about custody in his hands and believe that he listens and cares to present facts in court that shine the best light on his clients. While it was the biggest relief in the world to find him as my legal representation, I cannot lie and say that I long for the day we no longer need the judicial system to help my ex and I sort our problems out in court. Litigation is truly expensive and I have a huge debt to pay, however, I do not know where I would be without his help.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Ms. Schaffer for all that she did for me. She made a very difficult time so much easier. I was in a highly contentious, high income divorce. While Sarah was very level headed and down to business, she took great care of me. We ended up using mediation. Sarah was so professional and it worked out really well.
