Tracie handled my divorce and custody issues. She is very knowledgeable and professional in the courtroom, being very prepared for any direction the situation might go. Phil Marr provided me with excellent help and advice during what was a very difficult divorce case. My ex prevented my children from flying to my home overseas to see me during my custody periods and stopped using add-on money that I paid for the children. I interviewed a number of attorneys and selected Tami to represent me. My decision to hire Tami and Hendrickson, Cooper & Hughes was one of the best decisions I have made.

I am very happy with the legal services received from Thomas and Stacey Widger . As most people would probably agree, going through a bitter divorce with children and assets involved is one of the hardest things you may ever do. (My personal feelings are that courts don't seem to like men for some reason).
Best thing I ever did for myself was hire an experienced attorney who knew the law and my rights. Stacey represented me in court last week and I am thrilled with the final results!!! She is not only extremely knowledgeable but a real hard worker too...It seemed like at times I could actually see the wheels turning in her head.

If there were 100 star ratings I would rate ALL 100 stars. Jack was referred to me by a family friend. I hired him as a Limited Scope Representative. My case went from being very simple straightforward case to a very frustrating and stressful case. Jack, was always available at any given moment even on weekends to step in and guide me. His experience, professionalism and ethical practices were top notch! He truly cares for his clients; it showed in every action he took to protect me. Every time I called or emailed him, he made himself available for me. I was worried being Self Represented, not knowing if what I was doing or filing was correct, but having Jack guide and counsel me, he did above and beyond because he truly cares for the well being of his clients. Angel was my lead lawyer at Desai Family Law which was the second law firm I hired after a five year ongoing divorce case. The first firm I hired was terrible and I'll just leave it at that. After an initial bad experience with the family law world, I decided to do my due diligence before hiring another lawyer, plus, I was doing pretty bad financially and couldn't really afford to hire any firm. Luckily, my ex-wife's situation wasn't amazing either and she had to drop her lawyer as well due to financial reasons, which resulted in both of us continuing our case pro-per. This led me to a two and a half year long journey where I had contacted dozens and dozens of family law firms and lawyers, getting as much free advise as I could and occasionally paying for an hour or two of consultation whenever I could afford it. In the process, I become very familiar with different lawyers all the way from the Valley down to Orange County. I talked and met with any type of lawyer you could imagine, from highly experience competent ones, to complete amateurs that were just trying to make a quick buck.
I contacted Desai Law about a year into my search and received a great consultation from one of their lawyers, but unfortunately didn't have the funds to hire them at the time. Fast forward a year and a half later, my case was on track to go to trial and my ex-wife got herself a new lawyer and so I found myself borrowing money and saving any penny I had, so I could hire one as well. I contacted Desai again and unfortunately, they were not available to take my case. After some convincing and after the the calendar of the owner, Swati Desai opened up, they were able to accept my case. Best course of events in my six year case (not a typo). We had a hearing coming up about a week after I had hired her. After an initial representation by Swati, their new addition to the team , Angel Camino, took the lead role in my case (my case was very complicated with many moving parts) and against my expectations that he will get up to speed so quickly, Angel became extremely familiar with my case in no time.
My case was set for trial, and Angel ended up settling before then and against all odds (I forgot to mention that my ex-wife received a pro-bono lawyer which meant she had zero overhead going into the trial and a low incentive to settle as a result).
Angel is an extremely competent, savvy, knowledgeable and most importantly - an honest and straight forward lawyer.
He is a master strategist and highly intelligent and at the same time trustworthy and really has your back.
My case involved a few businesses, another third party and had stretched over five years with an unbelievable amount of paperwork and court filings. Most lawyers I saw were deterred by the case due to its intricacy, but Angel took over it without a fling and delivered amazingly.
Can't recommend him enough.

Amy has provided legal advice, litigation services, and has represented us both in court and in settlement negotiations. After her own thorough investigation of the facts, she is willing to go head to head against legal juggernauts and even government agencies. If settlement is not an option because opposing counsel is bent on litigating, she will zealously litigate for her clients; as she did for us. With her assistance we prevailed on a Writ of Mandate and Administrative Mandamus case (both in the appellate court and on remand) and had a breach of contract (in a related case) dismissed with prejudice even after the judge did not render a favorable decision. Mr. Rettenmaier helped me during my hour of need regarding a Landlord Tenant Unlawful Detainer Action (Eviction). I am so glad I hired Robert Rettenmaier to defend me with my unlawful detainer. Robert, was able to prepare me for trial in case we needed to go forward. During a time that was very stressful, Robert sat me down and explained to me what was going to happen and what would likely happen. On the morning of my unlawful detainer trial, Robert calmed me down. Mr. Rettenmaier protected my rights and even future rights. Robert was very professional and knowledgeable. We eventually settled my case instead of going to trial. When Robert was negotiating a settlment, the other party's attorney tried to get me to sign a general waiver of rights. Robert would not let me do this. I am so glad he was there to protect my rights because now I am capable of suing for injuries that were sustained. Also, I don't have an eviction on my record because of Robert. I would definitely recommend Robert to defend your rights in an unlawful detainer eviction action.

JP was the first (after MANY) attorneys I spoke with that would have an honest, straight-forward, conversation with me about my case. After our first conversation, he presented me with in-depth opinion on my legal standing, as well as a well thought out legal strategy for action. Working under a tight deadline he was able to turn a bad situation into a victory.
He was responsive: (Always same-day, usually within 1-2 hours)
He was knowledgeable: Well prepared to discuss case specifics, even finding angles other attorneys had missed.
He was prepared: On court-day we were ready-to-go, yet opposing council (whom had filed the RFO) had to ask for more time.
In the end I got what I wanted, with little sacrifice. I believe it has everything to do with my representation by JP Miller.

My mother and I consulted Mr. Angeles regarding a situation with my grandfather's citizenship. Not only did Mr. Angeles give give us detailed information regarding the situation that we didn't know about, but he also gave us multiple options and even provided websites to the relevant information. I had to find an Attorney pretty quickly, as we were in a time crunch to respond. I had read the reviews for the Richard K. Isles firm and was introduced to my now Attorney, Cora J. Dorado. She has been nothing but wonderful! There have been several instances when I have needed answers quickly, like within 1-2 hours, due to the other party not cooperating, and Cora has always responded in a timely manner. Her Paralegal, Leigh Collins, has been amazing as well, very professional and personable! They really do put the Clients first and have made it more of a pleasurable experience because of the personal relationship they have established with me.
