The divorce process is nasty, gross, and beyond emotional. Lydia's hard work, persistence, expertise, understanding, and kindness got me through. She's is extremely detail oriented and will not miss a beat. My ex put me thru the ringer and would have gotten away w unscrupulous things if it weren't for Lydia. She worked closely w my divorce financial consultant (Jason Crowley of DCP....also a must have) and came up w the best possible outcomes. I feel like I 'won' my divorce (if there is such a thing). From my first meeting with Michele I felt that she had my best interest at heart. She is obviously a consummate professional with scrupulous attention to detail. She formulated a plan for us to move forward with and was honest with me as to what to expect. Through this whole process she earned my trust and respect. I wish I would have retained her originally.
Katina was wonderful. She kept me informed as to the progress of my case. She is not only a knowledgeable professional, but a kind and patient person. Her support helped me get through more than a few frustrating times.
The whole office worked as a team. There are two more attorneys and plenty of staff at this office. When Michele was not available there was another attorney there to handle issues. Elizabeth Brown was very warm and personable. I was glad this group was on my side.
Divorce can be a terrible stressful experience. It can be compounded by a lack of timely response. I did not feel the delays in this case had anything to do with this team. This group of professionals kept me on task with my requirements and filed the necessary documents with the court in an expedient manner. I always knew what was expected of me.
It is important to find an attorney that you are comfortable with and that you trust to take care of you. They need to respond to you and others involved in your case in a timely manner. I am so thankful that I found Michele, Katina and the whole group at Lowenstein Brown.

I started off my divorce process, thinking that I could handle it without a family law attorney, even though my ex-wife had hired one of the most notorious divorce attorneys in our area. This ended up being a big mistake on my part and all I did was dig myself into a big hole. I had a restraining order filed against me, the custody of my child taken away, and was facing potential jail time. But thank God a good friend of mine referred me to Mr. Traverso and he was able to pull me out of the quicksand. He coached me through the mediation process and did everything necessary for me to regain custody of my child and avoid jail time. Anytime I had a question or a concern about my situation he was there to push me in the right direction with his advice. Divorce is a serious process And if your ex partner has legal representation I strongly urge that you give Mr. Traverso a call to reassure that you are not being taken advantage of. Without his help I don’t know where I would be , or what I would’ve ended up with in the whole divorce process. Thankyou Mr. Traverso!!!

If you are looking for a family law attorney, look no further than Lesa Christenson and the team at ABC Family Law. I worked with her for about a year and a half in a very contentious custody battle. She is not only compassionate and deeply invested, but she also has the experience and sharp legal mind to get you good results. I would be happy to have her in my corner against any San Diego attorney in trial. She is well spoken, knowledgeable and a force to be reckoned with in court.
I found her at all times to put the needs of my child, and myself above her own interests - she tried to save me money wherever possible, and delegated lighter tasks to her associates to keep the fees lower. She does not blow smoke - she is a realist and will tell you her honest assessment- good, bad or ugly. I always felt well informed of my options and in control of the process.
I quickly found out that there are a couple different ways that attorneys operate in family law. Some use "shady" tricks or try to skirt the law. This is not the way Lesa and her team operates. You can be assured that they will represent you with integrity and do things the right way. I do believe that the sharp difference in approach by my attorney and that of opposing counsel was a helpful factor throughout the proceedings.
It's so hard to really know what you are getting with an attorney before you are really in the thick of it, so I am so grateful to have been referred to Lesa. Multiple times during the process other third parties involved in the court system went out of their way to let me know that I had excellent representation when I told them who my lawyer was. It seems as though they have deservedly developed quite a strong reputation.

The first thing to note about Mr. Bayati is that he is an honest and ethical attorney. Anyone who has dealt with one that was not would likely understand why this quality is very important when seeking to hire counsel. He charges a fair fee for quality work and seeks to minimize costs where possible. With that box checked, the next thing to note is that Mr. Bayati is sharp and knows the law exceptionally well. He is very familiar with Court processes in Orange County and the judges that administer them. He has a good network of specialist attorneys he can count on as well if anything falls outside of his substantial area of expertise. He has a good demeanor and presence, particularly on video calls with the Court during the pandemic. He is practical and looks for reasonable solutions acceptable to both sides when that is an option, but can be tough when the situation calls for it. Overall he is an excellent choice for a family law attorney. He helped me a great deal with a very complex custody case and I would highly recommend him.

Brian Bayati is the BEST attorney out there! Trust me; I interviewed many attorneys before selecting Mr. Bayati to represent me. I had already gone through two attorneys and my stress level was high and I was emotional when I met Mr. Bayati. I chose Mr. Bayati because he is candid, very knowledgeable, courteous and well-respected in the community. Since bringing him onboard, he has made more progress in two months than my previous attorneys had in a year. We may not always agree on the approach, but he always provides the rationale behind his recommendation and points out the flaws in my reasoning. The general perception is attorneys are self-serving and just want your money, but Mr. Bayati genuinely cares about his clients' best interests, is brilliant, has a great sense of humor and wants to win. What more do you want from an attorney? I am truly grateful that Mr. Bayati came into my life during one of my most difficult period and now have peace of mind that my boys and I are in excellent hands. I had a complicated legal matter back in January 2013. Other attorneys were quoting me huge sums of money to fight the matter, but they couldn't guarantee me success. Mr. Camenzind came in cut through the red tape dealt with the other side and settled the matter very quickly. I only had to go to court once. He was very cost efficient,competent, and professional.

I sent a few clients over to Matt both criminal defense and family law. And I was amazed when he was able to get three felony counts with three to five years of jail time reduced to a misdemeanor and 6 months. Then he got my buddy's daughter home for Christmas after untangling a bad ruling from a less experienced attorney. Matt is a bulldog and the judge can't say no when he argues the law. One of the best attorneys I know and he's also a very generous supporter and contributor to service disabled veterans. The guy is a stud, class act.

I just so happened to stumble my way here. I was looking for a different type of attorney and came across Mat Singer. I got myself in some trouble in 2017, and i dont have the best track record. I thought I would be doing multiple years in prison because of my past. I hired Mr.Singer to represent me. Court dates came and went for nearly a year. I at times questioned what he was doing, but when all was said and done, i basically got a slap on the hand with a feather by the Judge and D.A. I highly recommend Mat. Johanna came highly recommended. She was able to help us (rookies to the Juvenile court system) understand the process, the probable road blocks, and the players. She was able to level set our expectations. She collaborates and listens well. But, what was most amazing was to see her in action in court. We were referred to Johanna Kwasniewski by a trusted lawyer that had worked with her partner. We own a commercial building that has about 40 leases in place at any given time, plus other Homeowner's Association matters that we deal with. She has handled about half a dozen different cases for us over the last year, ranging from evictions to settling monetary disputes with commercial tenants and other Homeowner Association matters. She has handled all of them efficiently, to our benefit, and so far not once have we needed to go to court (although that will likely happen...what are the odds?). I don’t think I can put into words how forward yet compassionate Stacey is, I am so thankful for Stacey and everyone at her office! It took a bit to get in to see her as she was not available right away but I can see why. She is so thorough, responsive and made me feel as though I was her only client. This firm and it's lawyers have stood by my case for years, not because they were making millions off me- They weren't, I promise you.
Even though my case was extremely long, delicate, and highly litigated, they always responded to any questions, concerns, and appeared at every hearing acting with 100% professionalism.
They worked closely on my family law case and even were kind enough to work with me of fees, again this was not an attempt on a law firm to take advantage, they actually cared and understood the situation clearly.
Anna came as a referral and I knew the minute I met her I had to retain her, at first she didn't want to take the case as she was already busy and could see the potential that this case would play out for years of abuse. Which it did.
She never swayed, she never quit, she always fought for the family she cared about.
She took on an abusive defendant without a blink of an eye, her and Cosmo never let anyone bully them in the courtroom or with ridiculous malicious filings.
She is respected by the judges in the court system and takes her job to protect families with the utmost pride. This is never about 'winning', it's always about the safety and stability for families.

Cheryl prepared our prenup document. While these docs can be stressful and challenging for obvious and emotional reasons. She was throughout, comprehensive, considerate and effective. I interviewed several attorneys, and she was by far the only one who seemed to appreciate the necessity of the document and the sensitivity of it as well. The documents were prepared quickly, and there were no issues at all. Highly recommended.

Michael did a fantastic job, helping us to navigate our chapter 7 bankruptcy. My wife and I first filed chapter 7 Pro-Per, that was a Big mistake. We received a letter shortly after we filed from Michael asking if we needed any assistance he would be glad to look over our papers at no charge and give free advice. Well, we did call him and he saved our bankruptcy case. We not only made several mistakes but needed help especially with the Means test. He agreed to take our case and show up at the 341 meeting. After that, Michael did a lot of work; sending emails and talking with the Court Trustee and State Trustee, refiling schedules etc. Michael always got back to us immediately to answer any of our questions. We would have never got our discharge without Michael! He is young but we highly recommend him for legal assistance with any bankruptcy. He earned more than he actually charged and that is hard to say today about any professional attorney.

I brought my Civil case to Mr. Pacheco in 2010. The case involved a 'constructive eviction' where I had a slumlord for a landlord . Mr. Pacheco did the appropriate background research and expert testing to present my case. I was always informed and he communicated with my mother in Spanish.
I later took my personal injury matter to him and he and his staff provided a favorable outcome.
I have used other attorneys in my past, but none have been as straightforward, down to earth as Mr. Pacheco. There is no b.s. in his approach, and his staff is highly competent.
