Donald Vicini is an extremely knowledgeable attorney. I hired him to represent me and defend me in a custody motion initiated by my ex-husband. My case was unique in that it brought in many different elements into my case/argument. Donald is by the book, knows the law, is confident in the courtroom and made me feel at ease, as much as he could, through my day long trial. Along with NC statutes and precedent knowledge, Donald also has the rare gift of "going with the gut" or instinct when knowing what exhibits to show or questions to counter with. He doesn't waste time or badger witnesses. He cuts to the chase and I believe the judge appreciates the respect he shows to even the opposing party in the courtroom. Mr. Vicini tried my case in a county that he is normally not used to and I thought, initially, that his lack of having a reputation in my small town would be a negative, but it certainly wasn't. In fact, the judge congratulated him, complimented him and shook his hand at the conclusion of my hearing. I would definitely use Mr. Vicini again and highly recommend him to others.

Doughton stepped in unexpectedly at the last minute to handle a very high conflict child custody case involving domestic violence that had been coming since 2017 and surpassed all expectations. Despite only having a matter of mere days to prepare, he didn’t miss a beat, catching up on an extensive history and developing a potent approach, all while remaining patient with me as I was ready to spiral. He was both courteous and respectful and when the time came, his tenacity, strategy and expertise in the courtroom proved to be not only powerful, but effective. I contacted Rachel when my (now ex) and I decided to divorce. She answered my seemingly endless number of questions throughout the process by providing prompt and conclusive responses.
Rachel asked pointed questions without any hint of judgement in order to create our separation agreement. These were personal topics (property, debt, etc.) that are typically uncomfortable to talk about with anyone, let alone a stranger. Yet Rachel was able to make the divorce process as comfortable as one can be.
She is discrete. My private information will remain private, which is of big importance to me.
Luckily, my divorce wasn't as tricky as some, but that doesn't mean they are fun.

Obviously, I’m going to echo the positive sentiment that has been shared already, but this is one of those times when I’ve actually gone out of my way to review the services of someone else because they’ve been excellent. I had some particular issues involving vehicle insurance. When I needed help navigating the hearing, Mr. Powers was incredibly helpful with his representation in a case that seemed relatively minor but was fairly intense!
He comes off as someone who cares, and that extends to his team as well. They all seem receptive and want to make things function as smoothly as possible. They’re good communicators. Just be sure to do your part and respond to them as they engage.

Choosing a lawyer for my son’s felony drug charges was a difficult decision. After numerous online searches for the best criminal defense attorney in the Charlotte area we decided upon Justin Olsinski. A very good decision. Mr. Olsinski was thorough, conscientious and insightful. The wheels of justice turn slowly and after turning down a plea agreement, we took the case to a jury trial nearly 15 months later.
