I was denied for Social Security Disability. I hired a lawyer (not Jack) to appeal this decision. Unfortunately that lawyer did not file the appeal within the timeframe required. So I was denied again. Through a recommendation I met and hired Jack to continue the appeal process which was extremely difficult at this point. Jack was extremely persistent. He was very patient with me. He is very knowledgeable about the process needed to file and appeal Social Security Disability claims. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone going through this difficult process. My claim was approved and I am very thankful for Jack and the wonderful job he did. He is the best. I can't say thank you enough to this wonderful man.

Kris is not only an incredibly personable, compassionate person, she is a well experienced, knowledgeable and fair attorney. From the moment we made our first call to Kris, she was prompt in her response and Kris’ caring nature heard our incident that occurred in our family that brought us to a temporary restriction in parenting time. Kris has a very no-nonsense approach to advocating for parenting rights and what is in the best interest of the children involved. In much less time than we expected, more than a few court dates and stipulations, we were relieved on the other side in having the children back 50/50.
Additionally, we are a blended family, so having an advocate that is aware of our family dynamic and situation she has been amazing at representing our family at all milestones in the court process. When dealing with our children being fed gluten on a celiac disease restricted diet, Kris advised and represented us in contempt orders for the other parent involved and re evaluating child support as needed. She is an all around amazing attorney that has really brought our family true legal representation that is second to none.

Katie Pierce abandoned my case for reasons unknown in a manner the judge called prejudicial. She also blocked me from filing in my own case for weeks by being unresponsive and contrary while still officially representing me. It was so egregious and unexplained that the Colorado Bar Association accepted a grievance and opened a case against her, but apparently she's still doing well and practicing.
I was still in good financial standing toward her and she'd made no ethical objection to me. Maybe it was personal. I don't know why she chose to represent me so poorly, but I do not recommend putting your trust in her hands when the case for your kids is on the line.

This review a bit overdue; Kendra did an excellent job for me -handling my divorce. She was a mix of working nicely with the other attorney, but also being a 'bulldog' on my interest. I thought it was an excellent, intelligent mix of those two qualities. Her, and her staff, paid attention to every detail, all the paperwork, etc., was expertly handled in a timely fashion. I thought her costs were reasonable. Most of all, I enjoyed my time and correspondence with her. She is highly recommended.

Kendra jumped into my case midstream, my cause was a nasty complicated divorce with one child involved and complicated financial situation. She jumped in and got up to speed quickly and handled the case open and honestly.

Brooke is very straight forward and will be honest yet compassionate! She is strong and forthright. Sean is the easiest most empathetic person I have met in a lawyers office. They both understand the law and will be honest with you. When you feel integrity is missing look no further than this office.I was disappointed with Harvey Skees. He did absolutely nothing to help my daughter and grand daughters. However, I am told he no longer works there.

I hired Brooke after having two other attorneys. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable about family law and absolutely tenacious in pursuit of the best interest of the children and me. She is incredibly insightful as to the reality of what is going on in my case. She reads between the lines and is right on the money. She is quick, smart and incredibly talented.

I was with Brooke for a child custody case that lasted for far to long and in the end she sat down with me, my sons father and his lawyer and we got it all hashed out. Divorce processes are difficult, and the subsequent negotiations around parenting and child support are laden with a lifetime of baggage while accompanied by an emotional roller coaster. Virginia was ever the consummate professional and advocate. She remained grounded when I wasn’t and provided honest, clear and concise council. One of the things I most appreciated was her frank assessment of the process, and sharing of her indignation when the opposing side became out of line.

The buyer had refused to pay any of the earnest money specified in a real estate contract, though I as seller had met all contract obligations. Jay was the third lawyer I had seen that day. After twice being told ‘this will take a lot of “ and the “ well you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t... maybe you just shouldn’t “ I felt completely hopeless. I went online fearful , desperate to find someone to help and I came across Jay’s info and called. I was in his office two hours later.
He was everything I needed to help get through this situation. High conflict divorce, spouse not returning child after summer visit etc... He was the balanced, strong person I desperately needed in my corner. He had things resolved sufficiently and quickly.

Jay handled my divorce case in Colorado Springs. He is very diligent about getting questions answered and in a timely manner; most of the time he replied to a question almost instantly. I had some very specific questions about a custody case that I am already waste deep in. It boiled down to me making a choice between two possibilites and one of them meant not seeking any legal representation (a.k.a. Mr. Cramner not getting hired or paid). He patiently answered all of my questions and was very pleasant to talk to. I felt that he gave me thorough explanations without coming across bias. I expected to be pushed into a certain direction. I was not. I left the lengthy conversation feeling like I got some solid advice from an attorney who seems to genuinely care. I also felt calmed and not in such a panicked state as when I first called. I can only assume Mr. Cramner exudes the same compassion and professionalism with paying clients. I would absolutely use him in the future based off our phone conversation.

I foolish had signed a postnuptial that could have ruined me financially. I had consulted with another lawyer and was told there was nothing that could be done. I was absolutely devastated!! I then met with Andy later that day. He looked over the postnuptial and found so many loop holes. I knew I had found the lawyer I needed for my divorce.
He is so incredibly knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, takes the high road on issues. Even though he has been a lawyer for 23 years, he still has that intense drive and dedication to make things right for his clients.

I don't have the words to express my gratitude for Olivia Larson and all she has done for my family. My case was extremely complicated as it had both civil and criminal accusations. I knew I was innocent and the accusations against me were an attempt to muddy the water and gain an advantage in the civil case. Miss Gomolson worked on my case for 4 years, I didn't know a divorce and custody battle could last as long or get as ugly as it did. Miss Gomolson operates on a strict policy of sticking to the truth and not swaying even a little bit away from it.
My Case involved just about anything you can think of from child neglect, child abuse , drug abuse and mental health issues. Kate also had to deal with a ton of false accusations throughout the entire process not only did she take them on she proved each and everyone of them out to be false discrediting the petitioner every single time. Miss Gomolson filed motions only as needed always trying to keep my finances in mind. The petitioner in our case had a total of 4 lawyers and we had a total of 6 judges throughout the process making Kates job very hard and frustrating. Kate never seemed rattled and took every lawyer and judge on as if it was a normal thing, with all the judge and lawyer changes it seemed like we were starting over at every court appearance having to bring everyone back up to speed. Divorce is an ugly thing and I do not want to go through it again but if I do Kate would be my only choice of attorney. Throughout the custody battle Kate was able to get my children out of danger and in to my custody. Not only did she get me full custody she got me in to the proper therapy and made some really good recommendations to help me through the tough times. I retained Zach as my attorney as I was in a custody battle after my divorce. I had been going it alone for about six months and although I felt I had a good case, there is always the "what if" Many factors regarding my case brought me to Zach. I had relocated to another state, had a new job, paperwork to locate and file, many things had to be addressed and considered. It was overwhelming.
From the moment I made the decision to get help, I knew that Zach was the attorney to represent me. The initial conversations we had by phone were comfortable and productive. The fact that I was 1400 miles away and that I was placing my children's future and well being in someone's hands was scary at first but Zach, I felt, was the one that could get it done for me.
The biggest concern I had was that I had given him less than 3 months to prepare. In that short amount of time he compiled all the documents, filed all the paperwork, conducted the interviews with the witnesses. He did that and so much more. When we entered the courtroom I was confident and WE were prepared. In court Zach was direct, to the point and was able to "paint the picture" for the Magistrate. He asked the right questions of every witness called to the stand and when the proceeding was complete there was no "what if" left in my mind.
When the court made their decision and I received the call from Zach that we had won, I knew I had made the right call. I cannot express enough my gratitude, nor the respect I have for Zach. I put my trust in him and he delivered. I could not be more pleased.

Limited to 4000 characters? Stephanie knows this is going to be difficult.
Ms. Rikeman came into my case late as I was taking care of this myself. Was doing OK but when a couple of other items came up that I knew were going to require something beyond my capacity - I sought out legal counsel and was fortunate to find Stephanie and have her accept my case.
Stephanie is very knowledgable and will pursue your case tenaciously. She has integrity and is absolutely honest - something I thought you only used as a punchline when speaking about an attorney. I was pleasantly surprised to have my faith restored in the legal system and all of that can be attributed to Ms. Rikeman. If you are hiring Stephanie you should be much the same. She will work within the framework of the law. Not that she won't look down every avenue in winning your case but if you are looking for someone that is a little shady ... then there are plenty of those out there. Stephanie will win your case doing what is right and just.
Stephanie is diligent in her work. Don't be surprised to get an email from her at 9:00PM ... on a Saturday. She is a work-a-holic. Sometimes that isn't always a good thing, but considering she is working for you - then it is very good. It is a work ethic you don't often see anymore. It needed to be done so she gets it done. Sometimes that is from 9-5, sometimes that isn't enough. Unlike other attornies that will shrug that off and come in the office the next day or the next week or whenever - don't be surprised when you get that late email.
Very early on Ms. Rikeman made a suggestion for my case that I really questioned. I didn't see that there was much benefit to it and there was an additional cost associated with it as well and I was already short on funds with everything else going on. Even after speaking with the person that she suggested I was still hesitant that it would help my case and there was even the chance that it would hurt my case. In the end I put trust into Stephanie and went with her suggestion - outside of retaining her it was the best decision I made. In retrospect let me simply say this; you are hiring Ms. Rikeman for her knowledge and expertise, take it! She isn't making a suggestion to make someone else money and it damn sure isn't going into her pocketbook. She is suggesting you do something to make your case have a better chance at success. OF course she can't guarantee it always goes as well as mine, but if she didn't think it was a good idea with a higher probility of success then she isn't going to mention it to you.
Now then as far as money and all of that - again I find Ms. Rikeman to be very fair and honest. Her business practice itself is set up well and is absolutely fair in the manner that she has it. I would reccomend though that you hire Stephanie immediately - she is severly underpaying herself. At some point in time she will come to realize what I did quite awhile ago - that she is an awesome attorney and a lot better than the majority of the competition - yet the competition charges significantly more than she does. I know the explanation she gives and this isn't one of those, "Well for the money she is damn good". The fact of the matter is that she is better than damn good - getting her service for what she charges is the bonus.
Well 254 characters left - I easily have enough to go on for another 4000 characters - Stephanie will know this is true.If you are still looking for an attorney and you have gotten to this point then I have to ask, "What the hell are you waiting on?" Call her now and get this going, make the best decision you are going to make in a long time and be confident in the decision you made.

Suzanne helped me with my divorce last year. She is professional, sharp, and extremely effective. I was able to keep my retirement accounts because she pointed out that my ex and I had always kept our accounts separate from day 1 of the marriage, and that I should be able to retain my own accounts. The judge accepted this and signed off on it, and I feel safe and financially secure as a result.

It is a pleasure to compliment the legal work that Susanne Ewy has done for me.
At 92 years of age my ability to deal with Boulder (Colorado) County authorities is quite limited. When I received notice this year that my home valuation had just risen by 50% I was shocked. This meant my home real estate taxes would also rise by this same 50% amount!
Boulder (Colorado) County displayed “comparable” nearby home properties that had recently sold as justification despite the significant differences in comparisons. I engaged Suzanne Ewy to help me deal with Boulder County over this gross exaggeration.
She developed a plan, gathered materials, both statistical and visual, and, within the County-stated strict limitations, delivered my request for re-evaluation. She prepared, I think, about forty-five pages of information for the County.
The County Assessor rejected her request for re-evaluation completely, requiring her to file an appeal and appear before the Board of Equalization. She prepared me for that virtual hearing, making sure that I could hear and understand the proceedings.
Long story shortened, the BOE granted me the totality of my evaluation amount – the entire reduction of 50%. Virtually unheard of in this county. This will result in a reasonable tax amount that will have an immediate and a long-term effect on this aging citizen who has paid Boulder real estate taxes since about 1970.
My many thanks and admiration for her reasoned and effective work is unbounded.
