We greatly appreciate the help that we received from Meggin and Tracy. Our father has dementia and his wife filed for divorce shortly after his diagnosis. With help from the Rutherford Law Center, we have been able to navigate the divorce and obtain guardianship. This is still very difficult for us, but we are managing and we are stable and we really appreciate the help that we received getting to this point.

Perfect experience with Jim and his staff member Kate. Jim helped me deal with a plea that helped me get out of a harsher traffic violation. Greg represented me. I had the worst experience with Greg. He treated me as if I was in the military when I was hurting and in need. I would not recommend him to anyone. He charged me a lot of money with horrible results and my experience was horrible. I feel it is my human duty to share this with father's who might be going through a divorce.

On May 11th I wrote a complaint letter to Peter Fabish at Conscious Family Law and Mediation LLC regarding Mediation services with him on February 26, 2024. The least that I expected was a refund check for $750. There has been no response. Without going into the details, I will say that Peter's actions led to one member of a group of three seeking Mediation for an APR, Allocation for Parental Responsibilities, to make a radical move on March 1st, 2024 that led to the false arrest of another person in the group of three, serious criminal charges, and the removal of a young child from two people he loves and a home he feels safe in. Subsequently, my entire humble savings is gone to legal fees and my next step is to take out a loan. I am 76 and live on Social Security. The consequences because of Peter's incompetence has thrown us into a crisis that may never be fully resolved. We gave a clear picture of what we expected from Mediation in our intake session and we requested the non-attorney for Mediation to save money. Peter showing up as an attorney was their first mistake. The trauma from this incident has been highly stressful and harmful though abruptly losing the child in our lives is the deepest grief that I have ever experienced. It was a life-changing mistake to use this company and Peter Fabish.

In the extreme, sub-zero temperatures of January, my building lost heat, water, & was declared uninhabitable. My insurance company left me homeless, delaying coverage for shelter, food, and water for weeks- despite an approved catastrophe claim. If it weren't for Dan Sloane at the Denver Trial Lawyers, I'm not sure how my story would've ended. His knowledge, advocacy, & humanity are the reason I have somewhere safe to sleep tonight. There aren't words that could adequately express the enormity of his ethics & strength in practice, nor their impact on my life through this grave situation. If you've ever had the fortune of being represented by the Denver Trial Lawyers, you'll understand my speechlessness. If you haven't yet had that fortune, I hope one day, should you need it, you have the opportunity to be represented by his firm.

James Cordes provided terrible advice. His drafting was sloppy and required extensive redrafting by opposing counsel, and he advised me to take a terrible deal. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before it was too late.

We hired Lester Nieves to represent a very complex criminal case. I completely trust him to represent who we hired him for. He definitely knows the law and your rights . I would recommend him above any other attorney including the ones that are way too high priced for our budget. Lester's fee to retain and represent are more than fair. Out of all the attorneys I've spoken with we picked him and I have absolutely no regrets at all Thank you so much Lester!!!!

The attorney I met with during my consult kept yawning loudly and REPEATEDLY over the top of me and seemed really disinterested. I was made to feel like I was being a terrible bother. I get that it was a morning call, but if you arent going to at least pretend to care then maybe dont take my call? I scheduled the consult to see if this firm could be my advocate and the attorney I was paired with wasn't even able to fake being interested in my legal issue. I guess I can take solace in the fact that I found this out early in the process. However, the receptionist that screened me and scheduled me was super nice and helpful though

Thank you both to Attorney Conor Stewartson and Paralegal Diane Barrera at Colorado Legal Defense Group for representing our daughter in her criminal defense case. My husband and I spoke to several Attorney firms to help us and after speaking with Diane and the Intake Attorney Cole Presnell, we decided to go with their firm. I can honestly say that Diane was key in helping us make the decision to use their firm. She was very understanding and genuinely cared, being a mother herself. She was available early on and even followed up to make sure we landed safely in CO that same evening to be there for our daughter. Conor was assigned to our case and I was advised although he was new with the firm he had an extensive background as a Criminal defense Attorney. Initially, I was concerned w/him being new to the firm but after speaking with him, doing a background check and reading up on him, he put those concerns to rest. There were times it was difficult to get a hold of Conor but my understanding was his contact phone was still being setup at the time, since he was new w/the firm. But he did return my call when I really needed him over the weekend on a late evening. Also, Diane was always available even on weekends (not normal or expected) and kept the communication going if Conor was not available due to being in court or working w/another client. Ultimately, the outcome of our case was in our daughter's favor and it was completely dismissed all due to the hard work of both Conor and Diane. Their skill set and ability to do what they do, fighting on our daughter's behalf produced the best outcome possible and we are so thankful to them both! The billing process early on was easy and in speaking w/Diane that was not even a concern at the time with what was going on. Which truly shows the caliber of the firm and their people as a whole of who they are and what they are about. We are thankful to both Conor and Diane and are truly blessed to have been represented by them, but as I mentioned to Diane, we pray we never need their services again! Me: Fine. *pays their fee* Now Can I ask some questions about your services? New Leaf: NO. Give us money. Me: I did give you money, can I ask questions about your services now? New Leaf: No. Me: I want a refund. New Leaf: You can ask us questions now. Me: I just want a refund, I think your firm is a scam. And I'm still waiting on the refund. This firm is so compartmentalized it is just discombobulated. The right finger has no idea what the right thumb is doing. They haven't answered a single question of mine, yet I have talked to 5 people. New Leaf is a joke. Edit: I did get my refund, and to prove how little they know what's happening in their firm I got my welcome letter after my refund.

I was in a real pickle. I was hit by a drunk driver, acquired a life changing traumatic brain injury from the accident. I lost my high salary job and the ability to get back to any form of work. Although my husband is successful, he couldn’t afford to absorb all of my personal debt and obligations in addition to his own monthly obligations. We were trying to sell things, including our beloved vintage car, to cover the gap of my lost salary and we’re just not able to make things work. It was devastating. My personal injury attorney handling my car accident case referred me to Berken and Cloyes, having heard tremendous things about them. So, I called and Stephen met with me right away. It turned out that my bankruptcy case was not a simple one, but Stephen and Sean took me on anyway using all of their expertise to get me into a better life situation. Mr. Cornell Johnson exceeded my expectations as a personal injury attorney. Cornell was always available to answer any questions I had about my motor vehicle accident - responding promptly to all phone calls and written communications. He carefully laid out the various options and strategies that he thought would be most productive and helped me to come to a much better understanding of what I could expect in terms of obstacles, time frame, and what I could expect from him. Cornell carried his vast legal knowledge and expertise with humility and also with confidence. I felt he truly cared for my well-being as I was healing from my injuries. I cannot recommend Cornell highly enough - he was a blessing to me and my family during such a difficult time.
