I highly recommend this law firm for any malpractice / wrongful death needs. They were respectful and professional. They worked tirelessly and diligently to help us resolve the death of our loved one. They never once made us feel that this was just a dollar amount to win for them- they fought for our case up until the final day. The communication skills from the attorneys to the support staff is impeccable and support staff went above and beyond on our behalf. I pray that I would never need this type of service again, but if I did, I would return to Cohen and Malad immediately.

Honestly I really wish I found someone else. I had a very simple child support case and it still cost me $3000. I highly doubt she actually spent 17 hours working on my case. We didn't even go to court, we came to an agreement. And Vanessa nor her employees were much help when my case was over. You have a question? Be careful if you send an email that gets a one sentence response, it will cost you $82 for something that took 2 minutes. As a single mom, I asked if I could take partial payments and got charged $82. Overall very disappointed. I am not getting back pay like I was supposed to be and now it is all up to me to figure it out on my own. Missing out on $600 because this lady didn't pay attention to what she was doing FOR MY CHILD. Also I was never told that I should sign up for direct deposit with the child support office, I thought after paying 3 grand there would be some guidance. I was wrong. Will never recommend this office. Please go elsewhere.

I had a great experience working with Bill and his team on my case. We had a flood in our building and Statefarm wouldnt pay us out. We hired an adjuster and even with that they still denied the claim. All I was left to do was file a law suit against them. I was referred to Bill through a friend that worked with them in the past and I can say is that they didnt dissapoint. I hired Bill to take on the case on a contigent bases since we were against the wall at this point. He worked very diligently on the case and was very supportive in understanding our side of the story. Long story short, he was successfully able to win the law suit against SF and was able to get us back what we lost in our claim. I highly recommend using Bill and his team for your insurance claims, not everyone has the time or know how on how to speak to insurance companies and they are always looking for the smallest mistake to deny your claim. Bill will handle all the communication on your behalf and ensure a smooth experience at no upfront cost.

I met Mr Krasutsky last Friday he is my friend Shannons lawyer! When I first arrived receptionist was super nice had me take a seat in a extra room, this lawyer came in said room, would not even shake my hand backed up, then told me too follow him too pay the $153 fee for his consulation fee! I should of left then because he made me feel uncomfortable, as if he wanted too makesure I could afford the fee:/ I felt this lawyer was not only rude but judgy, I came in with a action plan and concerns and every concern I had he knocked down with rebuttal, he said best course of action was too just get custody of my son when I told him my concerns for my daughter! He seemed like he was only in it too do what he thought best! My sister still wanted to hire him and had me call him back and his secretary turned down the payment and said she would have too talk too him first after he told me he would take the case! We went with a better attorney, that actually charged 2000 instead of the $1700 kratusky wanted and he listened to my concerns for my children! was not judgmental of a single-mom!!!! So please dont waste your money and find someone that will listen too you!

I called and consulted with him on the phone. He made me feel so much better about my case and gave me hope that everything would be okay. I called the next day to hire him and pay but was told they aren't taking new client. All my hopes were shattered. I hired her to help with enforcing two court ordered judgements and the past due arrearage of child support from the non custodial parent. Well she cancelled a court hearing I scheduled before I hired her without notifying me. I showed up to court only to find out that she decided to cancel the hearing that I had waited months to get two weeks prior to the the hearing. When I called to find out what happened she told me it was a scheduling conflict. In essence she prioritized something else at the last minute and failed to notify or discuss the cancellation with me. I paid a $2500 retainer in advance, she charges $250 an hour. She was non responsive for the first 2 1/2 months. Not returning calls rarely returning emails. Things began to escalate with my ex spouse and she actually started to communicate via text and email and a call here and there. What I didn’t realize is she used this opportunity to excessively charge my retainer. Warning do not use her!

Speaking with Lisa during our initial conversation left me hopeful that I found someone who would diligently represent me. Unfortunately, instead of diligence I ecountered difficulty and frustration. She was tardy for phone conferences that had been scheduled weeks ahead or would cancel them at the last minute leaving me lost and confused to the status of my case. Documents that she crafted were inadequate, ambigious and open to the interpetation and whims of opposing council. This caused great aggrivation and extra expense to me. When the problems became evident, instead of correcting them, she seemed to take offense that her work was being questioned and while claiming to still be representing me, she was absent and no longer available to help or comunicate in ways that mattered. Obvious errors and over charges were made in my billing statement (I was being charged for work in someone elses name on a similiar case), when I pointed this out, again she took offense that anyone would correct her or her billing practices. Overall, she did little to help me and left me with lots of loose ends that I have had to handle alone. I really needed someone who cared more and followed up on the statements and assurances she made in our initial consultation.

Ms Lisa Berdine was instrumental in securing a payment I was to have received from a used car salesperson. The salesperson/owner was reluctant to tender payment for cost I incurred on a vehicle purchased from him.. He signed the receipt promising to refund money for repairs to said vehicle
After repeated attempts to secure the money, I contacted Ms. Berdine. She spoke with the owner and the full amount was remitted to me after she forwarded a document indicating that the case would be filed in court if he continued to refuse to cooperate. I was very pleased with Ms Berdine's efforts in securing the money on my behalf..

Matt Zentz has helped me get custody of my daughter. My daughter’s mom had gotten in trouble with the law And her mom ended up getting guardianship of her and her mom would not let any of my family see her my daughter, including myself. Charged me $500 for firing them! $500 to read my email consisting of couple words telling them I no longer want to work with them! Couple of templates filed with the county costed me over $3,000. In addition, the paperwork was supposed to be served to my spouse, it was laying in the mailbox for days, instead of being hand delivered, as promised. I received no value from their services. They scheduled a provisional hearing with the court without consulting me. I did not intend on going to court for a simple divorce case. Now I have to hire another lawyer to waive the court appearance.
