The team at Buncher Law is excellent. I recently finished a divorce with Sven and they were instrumental in helping me navigate the difficult process. Despite the emotional and financial strain of a divorce, they helped me settle and avoid more legal fees. I'm not sure how I would have made it through without them on my side. I interviewed two attorneys and Sven is the most ethical, polite and trustworthy attorney. I paid for my consultation and became well educated. It was a tough situation not only did I lose a partner I was also pregnant during my divorce. Mr. Gold was not just an attorney focused on proceedings/agreements, he did so with integrity and empathy, always taking into account who I was as a person and keeping my character intact in all decision-making. It's a very vulnerable and difficult time for me, and easy to lose sight of what is important. It's during these difficult times that character is often tested in many ways - Mr Gold always presented pros and cons of any decision that was ahead, how we wanted to shape it and what was best for me and my unborn child. It was the best decision looking back now. I had my son and moved from Los Angeles to the UK and now working in Singapore. When it comes to family law attorneys there are many choices out there. I wouldn't trust anyone to handle my personal affairs other than Elizabeth Johnson. She helped me with a family matter and it couldn't have resulted in a better outcome. I am very thankful to her and her partner, Andrew Klausner, for that.
Her professionalism and knowledge are second to none (unfortunately I've worked with several family law attorneys). Not to mention, she is an attorney you can place your trust in as she is just a great person overall. That comes across from the moment that you meet her. I would have no reservations having Elizabeth represent me again or referring her to someone that needs her services. She truly puts her client's best interests first.

Going through a divorce was probably one of my life's most liberating moment. It was a difficult transition, but to be able to have the courage to finally do something you know you should have done for a long time. I knew the minute I met Andrew and Elizabeth that it was a match. Andrew was so stern, persuasive, and quick on his feet and Elizabeth is so precise, relatable and attention to detail. They both were very matter of fact, problem solvers, and total geniuses with numbers.
After our first initial consultation, I told them what was going on with my husband at the time's on going affairs and abuse. Without judgement, they sat and listened and gave me comfort in examples of what kind of cases they have scene and how mine was not the worse. I didn't have any children, I was still at a pretty young age, and they asked me: "Do you want to leave him?" and I said yes! Just that first decision was a shift in stepping into my own and choosing happiness over obligation. They were able to file for a divorce and served him the subpoena the day he got back from his "business trip"
They were always on top of everything and when we first started off I was making rookie mistakes like forwarding every threatening email my ex would write me which they could have easily billed me for but they made sure to get me on the phone to advise me how to consolidate and print the emails so I can save some money.
The whole team here are so helpful. If I had a question, I would get a response almost right away, or if they were in court at least a couple hours after. If emails were too long to write out, I would get a phone call so that everything is clear and we know exactly what the action plan is as to next steps. I always felt I was taken care of and that they were on my side and behind me, fighting for what I deserve.
During the last step of mediation, and we sat across from my ex and his lawyer. I could not have been more confident and ready. Every attempt my ex brought up to try to take from me such as my luxury handbags, jewelry, 401k, engagement ring, down payment of our houses, somehow Andrew would find something to rebuttal, and reason him out of it.
Through the whole process, they were thorough, strategic and got me out with more than I could ask for. I am finally a new woman, without a cheating husband and have my own house, car and bank account full of savings I can fall back on singing "You don't own me, I'm not just one of your many toys...". I am now officially divorced, the final paperwork was filed with the court and the minute that happened and I got the email from Andrew and Elizabeth I literally felt 100% exonerated.
I know I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. All that paperwork, my ex and his many masks, scheming, harassing, manipulating... paying the lawyers to do all the work and not having to deal with being in contact with my ex was worth every penny. It's been 8 months since I filed for divorce, I have seen couples that are still trying to get their spouse to sign 2 years after filing for divorce. I am so relieved it only took us 8 months. Now that it's all over, I can move on to the next chapter of my life.
Thank you Andrew, Elizabeth, Robin and the entire team for being so efficient and supportive during this process. I highly recommend anyone looking for representation to hire Andrew and Elizabeth. You will not regret it!

Being a mother in a dangerous relationship/living situation was my worst nightmare -- it became my reality as a 21 year old. I was terrified to take legal action against my daughters father, and after speaking with Ms. Johnson (And Mr. Klausner -- @Klausner Johnson LLP) I felt a sense of relief. Elizabeth is direct, compassionate and determined. Her personality was comforting in this horrible time of my life. Mr. Razai is a proactive attorney that never lets anything slip through the cracks. He is forthcoming with all the possible outcomes so you can make informed decisions. He also explains the law in a way that is methodical, so things are more clearly understood. There is no middle-man to deal with as he deals directly with your case, so he is always available to respond to emails and phone calls.
Previously, I was dealing with an attorney that I had spent $10k to carryout a set aside that should have taken 3 mos, but took 7 mos. I needed to get my kids back from a my children's narcissistic father who had played the judge at a custody hearing and did not tell the court that I had an excused non-appearance, therefore granted him the custody schedule he had been seeking - a 20/80 timeshare! Mr. Razai took on my case and handled it as if he's done it a thousand times before.
I hired Mr. Razai, who had a clear hold on the Orange County court system and the Family Law judges which gave me a sense of comfort. It also helped that he was a parent himself. But more importantly, he wrote an article about the phenomenon of the narcissistic father battling divorce and acted accordingly during my case. Considering this, I was impressed that Mr. Razai was able to keep the custody and child support hearings out of court which saved me a lot of grief and exorbitant costs.
Mr. Razai was recommended to me by a friend and I would do the same for anyone who is looking to defend your case in a succinct, professional manner. He is a hero in our household because he was able to get my ex to rightfully change our timeshare back to 50/50 AND defend my case against child support modification.

My experience with Greer & Rineer Law was a life-changing one that will never be forgotten. In my situation I was dealing with a landlord who owed me back rent due to the fact that my apartment had been an illegal unit. The city made him close down the place and pay me to relocate but it also became apparent that I was owed back rent. When the landlord found out that I was going to pursue getting back some of my rent he began threatening me with all kinds of things that people with lots of money tend to do. He told me that he would sue me with lawyers that were way more expensive than what I could afford and used all kinds of supposed terminology and fake paperwork that he sent to me showing that I would actually owe him more money if I sought reimbursement. This was a very stressful time for me but, when I was referred to Allegra's Law Firm it was then that everything immediately started to de-escalate and I in turn began to de-stress. The best thing I can say about Allegra's Law Firm is that she and her partner never let anything go over my head. A lot of times if you're the layman and you don't understand legal terms and legal jargon it can be very confusing. I find things cmabout the law confusing when I'm just watching on television! Allegra and her partner Kathryn made it very easy for me to understand everything that was going on, they also helped me understand my rights, and they basically made it impossible for my landlord to scare me any longer since I truly knew and was aware of what I was to get back in return. Jeffrey Witliff is one of the BEST. Kind and compassionate . Prior to retaining him I was able to consult with him and give me my options. From the start he was very transparent on what could happen. He is now my forever family law attorney. He assisted me for a DVRO hearing and trial with my ex fiancé. Kay Jafari is one of the most honest and trustworthy men I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. I was drawn into civil litigation, because of the actions of an ex-wife. Although I had no personal knowledge of her actions, her conduct resulted in civil action against me, by a private company, and the threat of civil action, by the US Attorney's Office. Kay's expert knowledge of the law, and ability to negotiate on my behalf, resulted in the company dropping their case and the US Attorney never proceeding with theirs. I hired Kelly to help me prove to the Court that my ex was endangering my son by neglecting him over years of drug addiction and failed recovery attempts. Finally, after fighting my ex , the lawyers and the family's efforts to hide the problem--Kelly got the Court to order drug testing and evaluation, which proved what I suspected. Kelly Miller is very professional and we are happy that we found her indirectly through a Christian professional directory. Sara is a true professional and joy to work with. I called her about a commercial tenant/landlord dispute that I was pursuing legal action for. I needed advice on how to draft a demand letter stemming from substantial damages to my office. From the start of our conversation, even when I engaged in verbal diarrhea and spewed numbers and facts and negative emotions at her, Sara remained articulate, intuitive, and calm.
She listened to my brain dump of ideas and thoughts and was able to parse out important details that we could use as leverage in the case. She immediately asked for all documentation (emails, contracts, photos, invoices, etc) of my communication with this horrid commercial landlord. Given that I called her on a busy Tuesday afternoon, she drafted a beautiful demand letter by the end of the week. I was flabbergasted and impressed by her level of commitment to MY cause. It definitely put my mind at ease having her in my corner.

Todd Haddock was an answer to prayer for a very complex and challenging child custody case. This was an intensely painful, frustrating and contentious relationship with the father throughout the months it took to resolve custody. My daughter hired Christine to represent her in a Family Law case that I was involved in as well. We were together all day (8 hours) on some of the court days so we really got to know Christine and see how she performed under pressure. We found Christine to be extremely professional, smart and very organized with great attention to detail. We also enjoyed being with her during our lunch breaks as well. Christine believed in our case and worked tirelessly to represent us. She was always aware of all court/hearing dates and showed up early fully prepared with lots and lots of notes and an amazing memory for facts and details. I kept reaching out to see if I can Reopen a custody case again regarding custody issues, contempt of orders and conflicts that were affecting me and my children. And so far my situation did not seem relevant to some extent for the case to be opened again by some consultations I had before, until one day at the right moment I found a lawyer Fernando Acuna who gave me a consultation with full on questions about the situations and the status on the case. He took the time to analyze the facts of the contempt of orders, etc. and how the case can proceed. He also gave great legal advice to someone who needed hope. He did explain every process and explained different scenarios of the case all which led us to have a great outcome. Because I knew the different scenarios and the process of the case it made it easier to believe the best decision will be made in court. And Fernando Acuna made sure to present that to the judge. I hired Mr. Sheldon to handle my divorce. It was a nightmare of a case, but he got it handled, and didn't charge me for every single paper clip, like so many others do.
He explained everything to me, and answered ALL my calls and emails HIMSELF! He was fair and honest, and I couldn't be happier with his professionalism, intelligence, and experience.
Do yourself a favor, when hiring an attorney. Ask a LOT of questions. Find one who doesn't have a lot of paralegals doing your work. Find one who doesn't bill you for every email you write to them.
I HIGHLY recommend Philip Sheldon. He was fantastic to work with.
I also referred him to a co-worker who needed immigration help, and he did a great job for her as well.

Mr. Sheldon is a very professional attorney who under promised and over delivered. I am out of state and had a jurisdiction issue with a judge in CA. I was so confident the judge would rule against me and we would have to go to appeal that I hired Mr. Sheldon to make clean arguments to preserve the record for appeal. Well, he did a lot more than that! His arguments and research of the law was so convincing that a judge who never changes his mind had no other choice but to rule FOR me. Mr. Sheldon has saved me THOUSANDS in appeals fees. I will definitely hire him again in the future to handle child visitation, which CA does have jurisdiction over.
The other thing I really like about this attorney was how easy it was to get a hold of him. I've worked with some attorney's who won't give out their cell phone or won't immediately update you when something happens on your case. I never had that problem here. Mr. Sheldon was on top of things and always let me know what was going on, which was really important to me being several states away.

My mother and I consulted Mr. Angeles regarding a situation with my grandfather's citizenship. Not only did Mr. Angeles give give us detailed information regarding the situation that we didn't know about, but he also gave us multiple options and even provided websites to the relevant information. In 2001, my ex served me with divorce documents, which I signed but later discovered were never finalized. The dissolution should have been very straight forward as there was no property or children involved. But after 7 years and 2 attorney's, the action was still unresolved. A friend referred me to Michael G. Martin promising I wouldn't be disappointed! I wasn't. He was able to get my ex to cooperate and bring the action to conclusion. In July of 2008, it was finally done, I finally had the divorce I thought my ex wanted!

My mother and I hired Mr. Fieldsted after my father suddenly passed away. We needed his help getting properties not listed in the trust to be put in my moms name/in the trust. We also had him create a new trust for my mom. He was honest and up front about the cost and was very accurate about length of time things would take. Since we liked him so much he has since dissolved an LLC for us, advised us on property sales, had him create a unique power of attorney, and evict a tenant. I highly recommend Mr. Fieldsted.

It was my pleasure to be represented by Brett & Heidi.
Initially dealt mainly with Brett where I got my child back after a Fake DV order was filed and granted against me with weak evidence.
After we finished the first hearing I got 50% custody of my child, and Heidi took over from Brett at that point.
The other party does not follow our court order, and constantly lives in a where double standards is okay. Heidi is efficient in her wording to detail and highlight the issues in writing to opposing counsel, letting them know how their client is violating the court orders. Everything is properly documented with evidence of communication.
Heidi is busy, I can imagine that when you're amazing at what you do you'll be in demand but she typically gets back the same day or next.
I can't recommend Heidi enough, she is professional, swift, and gets the job done.
