I regret hiring Mr. Flaxman to represent me in my divorce and alimony case. Initially, he came across as confident, assuring me that I would achieve a favorable outcome if we took the case to trial. However, over the course of several months, it became clear that his approach was ineffective.
The case was unnecessarily prolonged, which caused me a significant financial burden. Despite his reassurances, Mr. Flaxman did little to actually help my case, and I ended up with an unreasonable amount of monthly alimony payments. In the end, I felt misled and disappointed by his lack of action and failure to deliver on his promises.
I would caution anyone considering his services to look elsewhere.

Words cannot fully express my gratitude for Michael Flaxman and his flawless, impeccable work.
Nearly ten years after my divorce, he came into my very complicated child custody case and immediately went to work understanding the intricacies that previously led to me obtaining primary custody. He validated my immediate concerns, and he worked tirelessly with a laser focus on my kids best interests. Ultimately, he settled our case one month prior to trial, and in a way that gives me peace of mind for my kids and their future. In fact, the settlement turned out to be better than I ever imagined it could be and I credit that solely to Michael Flaxman.
Throughout the course of litigation, his communication in court and with opposing counsel was articulate, compelling, and charismatic. It was obvious that Michael Flaxman truly cared about our case. All of his professional correspondences clearly reflected that, and ultimately led us to a court settlement that was prompt and exceeded all of my expectations.
Michael Flaxman was exceptionally responsive to all of my calls, texts, and emails, even during evenings and weekends. He was dedicated to guiding me through the numerous and complex correspondences from my ex. He contextualized high-level emotions and educated me on my legal rights in each scenario. This empowered me to find my voice, rebuild boundaries, and enforce court orders effectively.
When it came time to draft our settlement agreement, he considered every possible situation and ensured that each was thoroughly addressed. Michael Flaxman is incredibly organized, and his writing style is clear, concise, and professional. He made sure I understood all legal terms completely and that all of my questions and concerns were answered. With the complexities of our case, I really appreciated the time and attention he gave to wrapping up our case with precision.
His professional and personal commitment to guiding me through such a challenging situation helped me feel exceptionally well-represented, reminded me to trust the legal process, and gave me hope for my kid’s future. During my time of need Doris Nehme-Tomalka was there. I previously got ripped off by two lawyers prior to finding her. Definitely you would get much more than you pay for.

Doris helped me in my custody battle that I wasn't sure I would win. She gave me confidence and security as the court process moved along. I received the justice that I deserved in court because of Doris. She aggressively fought for me and earned every bit of my trust in her. When it came time for my ex to again try and gain full custody of our children and change there school. I knew exactly who to call. Doris. She remembered details from our previous battle years before. She writes the best motions and counter motions. The quality of her paperwork far exceeds any of the lawyers we were up against. This is why the last time I was up against my ex I didn't even have to go to court because Doris's motion was so precise and overwhelmingly easy for the judge to make his decision. Justice was served again. I would only recommend Doris she is the best hands down.

Mr Friedman took my divorce case on January 2. It was difficult case that involved domestic violence and incest. As soon as Mr Friedman took my case he filed for temporary protection order . I'm very grateful that I've received maximum allowed TPO for 1 year. My ex husband 's attorney tried to drag the case for as long as possible. His attorney send numerous emails filled with lies and unreasonable demands. Mr Friedman never stepped down and at the end our ALL demands were met. Mr Friedman did absolutely amazing job! He fought for me until the end and we won ! Mr Friedman is very knowledgeable and straight to the point kind of attorney !

Super hard to get ahold of, he wasn’t ever on top of it. He was always rushing us to agree to things we didn’t wanna agree to. Kenneth also would forget everything I would recommend to put in papers.
I got hit with a bill for almost 9000$. For nothing. When I feel like I could have done a better job my self.
He didn’t go for back child support or insurance. I have to provide insurance on the child and everything else. While the father gets half custody. And doesn’t have to support her or help with anything.

The experience received by attorney Trevor Hatfield was phenomenal, to say the least. Although borrowing the motto from another familiar business due to it's ideal application, I must say, I immediately knew we were in good hands!
We approached the elevator and took it to Hatfield and associates offices. Suddenly, surrounded by glistening white walls beautifully garnished with interior floral decorum, I felt encompassed within a style of professionalism and class. The leather seats were comfortable and of quality. Even the cylindrical glass tabletop shone so immaculately, you'd have felt comfortable eating food served directly upon it!
The ladies at the front desk were pleasant. We did not wait long before Mr. Hatfield invited us beyond the door into a private conference room. Trevor Hatfield was clearly a gentleman of stature and wisdom, an asset to his trade. His skilled approach to the issue at hand was reassuring, and suddenly we took comfort for the first time, knowing that things will work out exactly as they should!
Mr. Hatfield was thorough, went over every detail of the case, explained our options, and confirmed we understood what was needed to move forward successfully. There is no doubt his representation is top notch. Hatfield is an attorney who won't nickel and dime you; he genuinely cares about doing the job well and taking proper care of his clients.
Trevor Hatfield has been a recipient of the city's recognition, and was awarded as such. Val Fujii and paralegal Theresa were the best decision I ever made. I went thru a long drawn out divorce and ugly custody battel over 5 children which took a few years to finalize. Attorney Gary Zernich and his entire team were exceptional during my encounter with them. Mr. Zernich was objective, thorough and very candid even when it was not the response I wanted to hear. He guided me throughout my legal proceedings, responded promptly to my inquiries and constantly kept me updated on the status of my case. He gave me legal counsel but ultimately allowed me to make decisions which were in my best interest. I highly recommend Mr. Zernich to you if you need an expert in his field and if I had to do this all over again, I'll still request his service.

This is an unprofessional law firm. I hired them last year. I had my custody and divorce case finalized in September 2023 and have reached out multiple times with mistakes made on my custody agreement after it was finalized and I receive no help at all!
I hired aAmber Robinson to help me get visitation of my daughter and somehow there was a wording mistake that cost me 2 weeks of visitation that I can’t get back unless I pay out of pocket to fix.
If I’m hiring a lawyer to help with custody of my child, I would assume they would read over the custody agreements so something like this doesn’t happen! My daughter is 15 she will be 18 in 3 years, so 2 weeks is a lot of time to miss out on.

I found Amber and her team via google and hired them to help on my custody case fighting for my son. As a man fighting to keep my son, which can get very emotional, Amber showed professionalism and empathy for me and was able to take any worries out of the situation. Over the course of about 10 months Amber was always very responsive and kept on top of all correspondence. I felt like I could contact her team whenever needed. When it came to court, she was amazing and fought for me with the truth, proof, and what was best for my son which led to a WIN! Highly recommended.

You want Stacy in your corner. (Unless you are in any way jeopardizing your childs welfare. If you are lying, abusive to your family, or attempting to be deceitful.. She will find out, and she WILL drop you)
You may feel as though you're not being heard at times, or your emails are not being reviewed. you may feel panic and anxiety that you're not her priority client.
With all of my heart please believe me, let her do her thing.
She is a champion for a parent that is trying to do the right thing. She is sharp as a tack and I'm willing to bet, twice as smart as you or I. Just let her do her thing . Get your documents signed and returned to her as soon as possible and you probably will be very pleased with the results.
Although this review is now a little biased, considering how well she handled things for me, it is 100% honest and accurate.

Stacy knows exactly what she’s doing, she knows what the other side is doing. She was a step ahead the whole time. Last year I was involved in a vehicular accident. My first major hopefully last accident. I woke up the next day feeling defeated. But we found this place through a recommendation. The experience received by attorney Trevor Hatfield was phenomenal, to say the least. Although borrowing the motto from another familiar business due to it's ideal application, I must say, I immediately knew we were in good hands!
We approached the elevator and took it to Hatfield and associates offices. Suddenly, surrounded by glistening white walls beautifully garnished with interior floral decorum, I felt encompassed within a style of professionalism and class. The leather seats were comfortable and of quality. Even the cylindrical glass tabletop shone so immaculately, you'd have felt comfortable eating food served directly upon it!
The ladies at the front desk were pleasant. We did not wait long before Mr. Hatfield invited us beyond the door into a private conference room. Trevor Hatfield was clearly a gentleman of stature and wisdom, an asset to his trade. Helped my child custody & support case in the very beginning but in the middle he turned into a monster! I was ignored constantly and he refused to complete preparation for trial after having me sign a fee agreement for it. Hired john for my custody trial and he literally didnt take time to prepare for it. Refused to file and motions. Didnt show up twice for our meetings. I had to file a grievance with the state bar. Fired him and he refuses to give me my files! This person wont even file his motion to withdraw as council even after the judge ordered him too...didnt do anything but hurt my case...

My mom hired Brian after finding out that a family member/co-trustee was taking advantage of her and her estate. Her previous estate attorney wasn't a litigator, so he recommended Brian, knowing my mom would be in good hands. My mom was battling advanced cancer and truly needed a warrior to fight on her behalf, especially as her former co-trustee was trying to take her property, was paying all of their personal bills from her financial accounts, and regularly wiring themselves cash. Brian was able to recover my mom's property and wrangled back control of her assets. After she passed away from the cancer, the former co-trustee tried to challenge my mother's will. That's when Brian really went to work. He ensured this person had to account for their financial wrongdoing by court order, and had gathered enough evidence in the discovery phase that we quickly reached a settlement. In doing so, he upheld my mother's wishes and protected our family from any future frivolous claims by the former co-trustee. Brian supported my mom and I during some of the darkest days of our lives, and the justice that was served helped me start to heal from her tragic loss. I retained Brian Eagan with high hopes but was disappointed when his first letter on my behalf notifying someone he was representing me, the letter containing language threatening legal action if they did not stop a certain activity.
I asked him to remove the threat & said the rest of it was fine & he assured me he would remove it before sending it. He then sent it.. without removing it.
I now also discover he either never properly read the documents, forgot what he read or just decided it wasn't his job to explain what they said to me, thus allowing me to interpret them myself.
Yesterday i learned after consulting with different counsel that what Brian allowed me to understand the intention of the documents provisions codicils & amendments to mean was completely false.
Weeks of worry concern & thousands of dollars in fees discussing, messaging & emailing how to rectify those concerns were unnecessary as a skilled Attorney pointed out yesterday the last amendment terminated those provision I was troubled about. How did he not relay this to me or even read it until 3/29 is bewildering. Even when he did read and recant it he did not make it clear that it was amending former provisions.
He failed to notify me there was a trust company named to handle a trust and not my sister or any of her friends, this emancipation which was all i wanted but I had to mine through the documents to uncover this myself. When i asked him about this to his credit he did explain it to me and what it meant but it should have been told to me in early Feb. by him, and not at the end of March because of my own time studying them.
He last week told me he believed a trust notification for a different trust may be void because much time had passed, saying he'd send a letter to find out what was going on. As of yesterday before my final decision to terminate his services his assistant said he hadn't sent it, & meant to call them & was leaving for a week (following his recent vacation two weeks ago) so he would be unavailable during that time.
Also to his credit, in the beginning when he couldn't make a deadline, call or another aspect of service promised to render, he emailed to say he's running late & when he anticipated getting to it, he did not delegate that to an assistant.
I can't speak for the firm, I'm sure there must be good attorneys there and I believe if Brian had an interest in doing a good job, perhaps for a friend or "important” client that he could but I wouldn't recommend Brian.
I learned and understood more in an hour with a new Attorney than after months of Brian having access to the documents.
*Today i learned the other Atty had asked him for my input on where i wanted a separate trust held. I am shocked to learn this because he never told me about this or asked me what i wanted. There was a recent email where they mentioned speaking to him, but he said they never followed up and never told me about the other email where they asked to bring me into the conversation.
As it is fundamental to getting the trust set up, i now worry because he had a habit to speak for me without my knowledge & as i've terminated him, he refuses to answer or send me the follow up correspondence so i have no idea what happened to my trust or who they decided to hold it or if Brian had without my consent given his own input.
I am shocked above all else, that he did not allow me to answer this or have any input, nor that he even notified me about their request for me to join the conversation about it.
