Never able to talk to the attorney. The secretary is a wall. When I gave a surprise visit, she had not even printed my documents. Again nothing happening, nothing to sign for 3 months. When requested assistance on how to deal with the suits i was served, the answer was a clear NO. Gave them another surprise visit, the wall did not even let me inside the office and she was acting annoyed. I am starting to think she doesn't like Hispanics.
For 3 months I waited and was never given anything to review amounts or to sign. Just emails requesting another P&L for the new month.
I am asking a refund of the $313 and I'm being ignored once again. Why not tell me NO from the beginning so I could find someone else that can be willing to speak to their clients.
Update: finally acknowledged after my review. Refund received. I have email proving you denied to help me to answer the suits which I was willing to pay you of course, I was not asking for a free ride on anything.

I would not recommend working with McLaw’s Law Group. My experience was marred by several communication breakdowns and a lack of professionalism from both Rebecca and her paralegal, Rosalyn. Divorce is challenging, and while there are no winners, a competent attorney can help their client feel more confident and secure throughout the process. To be fair, I will outline both the positives and negatives of my experience with Rebecca.
Initially, Rebecca was very responsive. I did not have the funds to retain her immediately, so she kindly gave me a week to gather the money from selling my house. However, I asked Rebecca to escrow the funds from the sale into her account, but she deferred to my ex’s legal team to manage the escrow. This has since become a nightmare, making it difficult to retrieve my money. Once the case settled, I could not pick up the check from my ex’s legal team; it was sent via FedEx to Rebecca’s office, which failed to deliver it, causing further delays.
Rebecca went on leave due to a death in her family without notifying me. After several unanswered emails and calls, her paralegal, Rosalyn, eventually informed me that Rebecca was out of the office. When I confronted Rebecca about the lack of communication, she blamed me for over-communicating, saying there were no updates to provide. However, I wasn't just seeking updates; I needed a timeline and next steps, which they failed to provide.
During this time, I lost my car and had to rent one to meet Rebecca. After traveling an hour and fifteen minutes, I called to inform her I was running five minutes late, only to learn she wasn't in the office and had been called into emergency court the day before. Although she apologized, this incident was just one of many demonstrating their lack of professionalism and communication.
This was my first divorce, and I had many questions. Given my financial situation, having a clear timeline and next steps was crucial to plan my life. I ended up losing almost everything in the divorce. Additionally, my mother and brother fell ill, prompting me to push for a settlement instead of waiting two more months for the court date. Unfortunately, the settlement process took longer than going to court would have, partly due to my ex’s lawyer, Jackie Piland, taking a week to review a document. Throughout the process, it seemed that either my legal team or my ex’s was not being truthful about the status and next steps.
I expressed my diminishing confidence in Rebecca to her, and instead of reassuring me, she stated she did not want to represent a client who lacked confidence in her abilities and refused to return the retainer. If a paying client expresses doubt, the professional response would be to reassure them, not threaten to terminate the contract.
Lastly, I am still facing issues retrieving the settled funds and have yet to receive a response to my emails or phone calls. Given these experiences, I cannot recommend working with Rebecca.

Jeremy Abernathy was referred to me by another attorney and I could not be happier with the outcome of my custody case. My case was a bit difficult and throughout the whole process, I always felt as if my sons livelihood and best interests came first. He fought tooth and nail for us and stuck to his guns both in and out of the courtroom. He is going to do what's best for you, your children, and your case to make sure you get the best possible outcome-and will do it in the most professional manner. He showed his expertise and at times if I was a bit difficult, he brought me back down, reassured me, and even prayed for me which I greatly appreciated. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood properly. He showed up to court very well-prepared, organized, well-spoken and professional but will also go toe to toe with aggressive opposing counsel or opposing parties if needed, and it made me feel as if he was really looking out for my son and I and fighting for what's right. There were times, even after-hours and weekends, when I needed guidance on how to approach situations with the opposing party and he was very responsive and didn't make me feel like I was a bother. He's very rational, fair and won't let you fail in the courtroom for having your own personal expectations that may be unrealistic. He made me feel heard and that he cared. Based on personal observation, he is also very well respected by his peers as well as the judge that we had. I would recommend Jeremy to anyone going through a legitimation and custody case. I can imagine Family Law to be very tough but he is definitely very knowledgeable and well-equipped to handle you and your case with the utmost professionalism and care.

I don't know who Morgan&morgan is for, but they are not for the disabled people here I am suffering from a stroke two years ago I moved into an apartment complex took my two year old son at the time to go play at the playground and he got hurt and I immediately called Morgan&morgan right after this happened in 2002 every since I have had to stay on top of Morgan&morgan I have had several different attorneys and paralegals. The only ones that kept in contact with me. Honestly was the paralegals. Morgan&morgan is not for the disabled people. They are for their people definitely not here. It is 2 1/2 years later my case was never resolved. I ended up contacting the property myself and resolving the issue with them because Morgan&morgan decided to wait for the two year limitation to file a law suit not once did a lawyer contact me when I did speak to a lawyer he told me that my case is not big enough to help him retire, so he was advised not to take my case, which was very hurtful to hear from a lawyer after being promised that my case will be taken on

Jeremy Abernathy was referred to me by another attorney and I could not be happier with the outcome of my custody case. In November of 1993, I sustained an accident with a Cadillac while riding my 10-speed bicycle in Atlanta, Georgia, through the Buckhead area at the Haversham & Piedmont Road intersection. While having been taken to Piedmont hospital with multiple serious injuries, a friend of mine contacted an attorney who was their family attorney, a successful litigator, Joseph Weinberg, to look into my case. Even though at the time this attorney was not handling personal injury cases, he chose to take my case, voluntarily stating that he had often had an interest in going into the area of personal injury. I believe Attorney Weinberg had mentioned that my case would be his first foray into this area. In a nutshell, some specifics which may have been difficult, legally for him, were: I carried no health insurance of any kind; had very little income (although working four part-time jobs); and, had never retained legal representation before.
While Joseph's handled my situation, and while being the consummate professional, he took quite a personal interest in my case, relating as much as a friend as he was my legal representative, advisor, and counselor. Since the at-fault driver had substantial insurance coverage, Joseph still had to fight hard to acquire an out-of-court settlement with the defendant's insurance company which involved 12 months of negotiations during my health recovery period. Even though it has been quite awhile since this experience occurred [Accident date: 10/23/1993], I feel compelled to say, "Thank you, Joseph, for the great legal service and personal support that you provided at a time when circumstances in my life were at a vulnerable juncture."

Joseph represented me while I went through a custody battle. He was extremely thorough, organized, personable, and got me everything I wanted without having to go to court. In addition, Mr. Weinberg was my rock when getting through the emotional aspects of the battle, which was very unexpected. Very Disappointed.
I hired Megan Jones based on our first conversation and was reffered by John Lippencott back in August 2017. (disappointing to say the least) It has been 17 months and a lot of excuses and delays on Megan's behalf.
So much time past I just wish to put this terrible experience behind me. Now with an offer from the OC.
I finally asked Megan Jones and John Miller numerous times to accept the OC's offer.
But Megan Jones nor John Miller have not responded to my numerous emails and attempts to contact them which I find very unprofessional.
