Going through any legal issues is never fun, but Melanie and her team made this process so easy and stress free for me. Melanie is a power house to be reckoned with! She truly cares about her client and always made me feel confident and comfortable with the legal proceedings. One of the things I love most about Melanie is her honesty, she always kept me on track. She truly cared for my emotions and how hard this process can be, but was able to keep me logical and helped me understand what to expect every step of the way. Her team is also top notch! I have been assisting my brother with a billing dispute which transitioned into litigation with this firm since 2019. They were handling a medical POA family matter, as our father was terminally ill. In my opinion, they mishandled the case and they charged thousands of dollars unfairly.

To whom it may concern,
We were in need of a law firm due to the death of our son, who did not have a last will and testament.
Therefor we searched the internet for a law firm in Georgia. We used the internet because we live in Florida, and our son lived in Georgia.

I had a dispute related to covid protections and my shared custody of my two children. When my ex refused to coordinate or even talk about important issues and my divorce decree was unclear, I had no choice but to hire legal help for an arbitration. Jeanette Soltys approached this contentious situation with calm, professional precision and neatly avoided escalating the already-excessive family drama. Her main concern was restoring a positive coparenting situation and building a foundation for parental collaboration in the future with better legal solutions than had been written in my divorce decree. My divorce had been self-filed, but if I’d known how much difficulty that would cause me now, I’d have worked with Jeanette on the initial decree and I believe she would have had to foresight to ensure a post-divorce problem like mine wouldn’t have happened.

Called and left a message, when we need legal help, the stress it's thru the roof and anxiety it's high, I applied for a home loan and because my loan officer was so rude to me, I didn't close the loan, he called some one, I referred to him in early stage and made threats, told her to tell me, if I don't close the loan with him, he will destroy my credit, he has access to my social security number, bank info and everything, I called and left a message, no one called me back it's over 5 days now !!!! After meeting with other law firms in the area, I was concerned on finding the right law firm to handle my situation, but then I walked in the door of the Gentry Law Firm. I immediately felt the welcome INSTANTLY.
The hospitality from the initial meeting with Ms. Moore and the front admins was so welcoming and delightful.
Then meeting with my attorney: Ms. Seidenberg, her paralegal: Ms. Albert, and attorney assistant: Mr. Wilburn was an added touch of heartfelt warmth. I was impressed with the power behind their bond and the team of who was going to support me. Words cannot express how remarkable my team is all what they are doing for me. Mr. Staples has been very helpful in my child guardianship/custody case. He listens to what you have to say, explains what's going on, and what all he needs from you. He explains each step of the process, and makes sure you understand what it entails. I've never had a problem with him, he has returned my calls, left me text messages, voice mails, sent emails to me. I can't explain just how helpful, and understanding he has been. I can honestly say that my divorce was the messiest one I've personally ever seen. Jeff Hamby is definitely the lawyer for you if you are going through a particularly nasty divorce - especially one involving disputed custody of children. He can be a "pit bull" in the courtroom when necessary. He's been doing this a long time, and his experience shows - and gets results. And in the midst of one of the darkest times of my life, he was actually a joy to work with. He is definitely a straight shooter, though, and he will tell it to you like it is. He's truly fabulous.

I called Saeed and explained my traffic ticket; unlike the other lawyers who wanted me to hire them immediately and pay them up front. Saeed advised me that my traffic ticket was a simple expiry of tag and that i should be able to pay the fine without paying thousands to any lawyer. He was more of a physician watching out for the best interest of his client instead of a businessman looking out for the best for himself. I can not thank him enough for giving the best advice in a simple and understandable language. I highly recommend Saeed for his principles and practise of law.

Saeed is a fantastic attorney and just a genuinely caring guy. His office is in a very nice area, and conveniently located. He spent more time with me than I've ever experienced from an attorney, and he was quick to find answers to all my questions. Mr. Howard is an excellent attorney. I had never had to seek the assistance of an attorney in the past. A friend who also happens to be an attorney recommended that I contact Mr. Howard. Mr. Howard and his staff handled my case in a very professional manner. He explained everything in terms that I was able to understand. He or a staff member would return my phone calls or emails almost immediately and they were consistently giving me updates. She listened carefully to all of our concerns, and then informed us of our legal options and where current case law stood. The options provided to us were always accompanied by careful explanation of potential benefits, costs, and drawbacks.

Very Disappointed.
I hired Megan Jones based on our first conversation and was reffered by John Lippencott back in August 2017. (disappointing to say the least) It has been 17 months and a lot of excuses and delays on Megan's behalf.
So much time past I just wish to put this terrible experience behind me. Now with an offer from the OC.
I finally asked Megan Jones and John Miller numerous times to accept the OC's offer.
But Megan Jones nor John Miller have not responded to my numerous emails and attempts to contact them which I find very unprofessional.

Attorney Pelerose is extremely unprofessional and is incompetent. She does not know the nuances of family law and has a lack of technology skills. She actually resorted to name calling after losing the trial. Her lack of professionalism is unmatched. Before hiring her I would ask her for the outcome of her Nov 2020 trial. I will leave this review to those that want the honest truth and unfortunately, I need to leave this review vague enough so that her office doesn’t try and discredit my comments (I would challenge you to look at her responses to other negative reviews…some are obviously warranted) I don’t play.
Several years ago, I was going through the most challenging time of my young adult life. I had made some mistakes years prior and unfortunately found myself in a predicament, which lead me to an admission of guilt to my misdemeanor charge…per my council (Ms. Frye directly) I accepted a deal that was inaccurately presented to me in court. While dealing with the aftermath of my case, it was brought to my attention that Ms. Frye had given me an inaccurate and false narrative of my obligations to the court. I can’t go into extreme detail, but I can tell you, I have more than enough evidence of malpractice. I do not and will not take this lightly. As a working class medical professional, anyone that wants to partner with Ms. Frye I would recommend you head my warning.
I have a case worker overlooking my complaint to the Georgia board. As a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Frye does not want these facts to become public, but unfortunately this is the direction she would like to move forward with. She is unwilling to admit to the mistakes she made to the court (and myself), which the court has graciously provided me and my current attorneys (several years later, after the incident) with enough proof and evidence of said malpractice.
There are so many attorneys out there. This one will overcharge you and make it feel normal…and in my case, give you the worst outcome possible (with sprinkles of nasty, disrespectful and condescending attitude) while verbally giving you the wrong outcome of your case after the trial. I can’t make this up. I know I sound like someone recently hurt by the outcome of my case…that is incorrect. I advise any and everyone to challenge any potential attorney that you might be interested in to ask adequate questions and understand the realm of possibilities regarding your case. This was one of the worst mistakes I’ve made in my entire life, and I have really been struggling with it for years. I would not recommend Ms. Frye to my worst enemy.

Rhonda was hired to handle my father's case, but unfortunately, she has been incredibly unhelpful. She became dismissive and irritated with him, eventually requesting a psychological evaluation. This has caused unnecessary delays; my father has been stuck in custody for over five months waiting for this evaluation, which has put his entire case on hold. He already has a program ready to help him with addiction treatment, but the only thing holding him back is this evaluation. Our family has reached out to Rhonda multiple times out of concern, but she’s been consistently rude and dismissive to us. A lawyer should advocate for their client and be accessible during such critical times—Rhonda has done the exact opposite. I would rate her less than one star if I could; she doesn’t even deserve that

Lisa Owen was my third attorney. What I thought was going to be an easy case, rapidly escalated to one of the worst experiences I have ever been through. A divorce. If everything is smooth and no issues at all, maybe any attorney will do. When things get nasty and everything is at stake, you want to be sure you have the right team behind you. I had to changed attorneys twice because I found out as things progressed, the case was beyond the level of competance for the current attorney. One of the attorneys had to withdraw from the case because she admitted it was beyond her abilities and experience. I wish I had saved all the wasted money and time with the first two.
All I wanted, was to know, that when we went to the mat "court", the team and person fighting for me, that I had total trust and faith in them. No matter the results, I wanted to know, they were the best. Lisa Owen was professional, 100% on her game, her team behind her including Natasha, Sarah, and several others, were always pushing and driving forward. Lisa actually scared me she is so good. Sharp, articulate, fast thinker, great debator, driven, witty, a total bad as#. She is a true bull dawg and exactly what you want if the case is something that truly matters. Lisa called me on her family vacation, pushed me non stop, she thought about things I never would have, I was in awe of her and her team the whole way through. She ran the show....She directed everything. she was in charge....and that is exactly what I wanted.
Yes, I paid a lot of money to hire someone of her caliber, but, I would have saved so much money if I have contacted her first. I am so thankful to my friend that I called who works in the legal system and asked for help and who was the best? I wish I had called her at the very beginning. She said, without a doubt, you call Lisa Owen.

My divorce was the worst event of my adult life. Far worse than I could have ever imagined. The emotional drain, the physical exhaution, the fear of what may happen. I am a Marietta native. I am a 25 year veteran in the mortgage industry, and unfortunately I help clients every month go through a divorce. There is usually a home and a mortgage to deal with. You want the best helping navigate these steps. I typically help one of them move out and buy a home, and the other, I help to refinance the mortgage into their name. It is a very structured and a very emotional process.

Paid $200 for a consultation with Attorney Potter and I’m honestly not sure what I paid for. I gave a detailed description of my case and asked 7 questions to gauge whether I wanted to hire her or not and she just talked in circles for the entire hour. She didn’t answer none of my questions and was very long winded. I will not be hiring this firm bc if she talked for 1 hour about absolutely nothing, I can’t imagine how much my total cost would be at $390 a hour for her to represent me. Honestly, I want a refund. Some of the questions I asked were how long would it take her to get up to speed on my case, has she handled cases like mine and what were the outcomes, what are the possible outcomes of my case, can she identify anything that I can settle on, and how can I avoid future cases. All of her answers were “I don’t know.” I am looking for an attorney with a strategy. If I explain my case in detail, I expect you to be able to provide insights based on your experiences. This was supposed to be legal advice. I want my $200 back.

Disappointment is a complete understatement with this law firm and Ms. Dione Potter.
This law firm drags out the process and charges for each email and phone call they make while continuing to drag the case out.
I truly felt Ms. Potter was working for opposing counsel. Everything opposing counsel wanted she got with NO fight from Ms. Potter. Everything opposing counsel said in court was just allowed to be said about me with not one objection. I lost everything except what the mom allowed me to have....thank goodness she allowed me visitation because honestly if she said "no" to that I would not have gotten that either.
I've asked the firm why I did not get anything I asked for and of course they nor she could answer.
She truly feels she did a good job........
child supoort increased from $700.00 to 1,130.00 per month
absolutely no final decision making for my child, even though I was told I would get some rights, but the mother has all those rights
I requested a Guardian ad Litem, I was told I would get it and the judge goes that route. But NO GAL assigned, opposing counsel did not want one
she sat and watched as opposing counsel said tons of untruths about me
and I got the privilege to pay my ex's lawyer fees
So I spent close to $30,000.00 with this firm with nothing to show for it, except for a laywer who thinks she did a good job. They are only good at doing one thing........billing you

You pay for a consultation 125, then you pay a retainer 1800, then you pay their processing fee (400)…. He called me to set up meeting. Told him I work 3 shift the later the better. How about 3pm? Great I said, whatever works for you. Then he offered 330…. Again whatever works. Called me next day saying he had court on day HE scheduled me, but may be continued…. If continued I wouldn’t hear from him, if not he would call to reschedule. Literally called me the next day to tell me it was continued. So I came into the office concerned that his lack of scheduling abikity was costing me money. His very unprofessional receptionist finally got him to discuss we’re he claims it wasn’t being charged. Had one meeting with the lawyer. Left out of their doubting he could walk and chew gum at the same time. Literally talked in circles the entire time. What a joke. He told me it would cost 50k and I was only going for a contempt accusation. Fired him after first meeting Robert was first name in st Charles location. Paid over 2400 to them, and then I get a bill for another 125. Hired a new lawyer Dodd, she showed up, had it thrown out with most my new retainer refunded. Do not waste your time or money with cordell cordell.
