Mrs. Beverley did not bill me monthly or when the balance reached a certain amount as stated on the retainer. After multiple emails I received my first bill 10 months later. It's not easy to depute charges after 10 months. This continued throughout the whole time of using her services. There was two major topics that Mrs. Beverley disagree with me on and did not want to fight for. On the day of trail not only did the other party agree but the judge ordered in my favor. I didn't feel like my attorney was fighting for me.

I was burglarized several times and they caught the individuals who did it. Red-handed with my property and dropped the charges and treated me like a child! Telling me there are here to listen and I would never be able to recoup the money (7900$ in products and damages)then it took over 2 weeks to file a piece of paper to release the stuff they caught them with. Horrible person and disgrace to the state,country!

This was an absolute waste of money that I didn't have. The divorce process is hard enough and Mr. Gann made it harder. He was everything that was the opposite of an advocate. He did very little for over two thousand dollars. But, every move he made was the wrong one. I actually thought my ex hired him to sabatoge me. Not to mention he is rude and lacks the compassion necessary to be the advocate he claims to be. He didn't provide advice or make any efforts that were in my best interest. My case could've gotten thrown out but due to his poor advice, I was put under time constraints that I wasn't prepared to handle. If my instincts didn't tell me to seek out a real attorney to represent me, I wouldn't have a fighting chance. He is definitely NOT worth the money he claims he's saving you. At least now i have some peace of mind knowing that I am fighting and have a skilled attorney fighting on my behalf. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute nightmare. What he is doing should be a crime.

I cannot recommend working with Greg Gann enough. He is thoughtful, intelligent, and he is sincerely interested in working for his client's best interests vs attempting to delay the process to collect additional fees like so many of his peers. Greg also takes a more holistic view of the entire situation so instead of focusing on the narrow matter that he was hired to review he'll take a more consultative approach by potentially inquiring how X may impact Y.

I have seen this attorney offer dubious legal advice on more than one occasion. This attorney was previously reprimanded by the Attorney Grievance Commission for (from their website): "Commission Reprimand for failing to provide competent representation, for failing to keep his client reasonably informed and for failing to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation." Be careful if you're thinking of using this attorney.

Of course something that's meant to help people who are low income or aren't made of money is complete trash. I tried calling in because I'm being discriminated against by Maryland wellness being told because of a heart condition that's considered neurological I'm not allowed to get my medicine that I've been on for 2 years and only thing I ever got a hold of with these people here was the fact that the phone kept disconnecting and I had to be on hold for more than 10 minutes only for it to happen multiple times. Completely useless

Sara Marie Donohue charges for time that she doesn't spend with you. For example, she'll have you come to her office at 4:00pm for an appointment, not even show up until 4:45, barely apologize, and still charge for you the time you sat waiting around her her.

Upon initial work with Amanda she seems very friendly, but as time progresses, you will find out that it is all about the money and your case has not progressed as it should. She flat out lied about my case and now I have to have documents recreated by another attorney that she overcharged for in the first place. Terrible service! This law firm, Hearns Law Group, was referred to me by a friend who had just begun using her and my friend is not impressed either as her case is not moving as well as it should.

Ms. Odorimah was one half of a team that represented me in my nasty divorce against a malignant ex-spouse and his equally unethical legal team. She is very knowledgeable, calm, unflappable and diplomatic especially when placed in situations that require an attorney to interact with unethical (that word again) opposing counsel while advocating vociferously for one’s own client. I have no doubt I walked away with my dignity and assets intact from my nightmare of a marriage because of her written communication with opposing counsel. She and Mr. Hearns are an incredible team and will make sure they walk the extra mile for their clients. I have since referred my friends to her (and Mr. Hearns) and secretly know they will triumph based on my experience with both of them.

I've been led on then ghosted by dates before but never a lawyer until dealing with Mac, which was surprising given his reputation. Our initial consultations were fine and we seemed to settle on a plan, but he suddenly left me suspended in limbo for months and failed to follow up as promised, ignoring multiple attempts to touch base on my part. I wasted a ton of time and pursuing my case became significantly more difficult as a result. If you are not interested in taking a case, have the professional courtesy to communicate that, especially if you've established a relationship and the client has exchanged sensitive information. Pretty sure the ABA agrees.

I hired him to represent me in my divorce case. He was very unorganized, called and emailed me all the time asking me for things I already gave him and billed me for many hours of pointless meeting so he could increase my bill. He is not polished and he is a bad negotiator. I tried to work with him but he continued to give me bad advice that prolonged my case so he could keep billing. He overcharged me many thousands of dollars for work a para Lea gal could have done. Very unprofessional.

Susan Elgin represented me in a lengthy divorce case. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge of the law, including nuances of which opposing counsel was clueless, with her attention to my circumstances, and with her professional demeanor, which was both efficient and caring. The efficiency meant that she never "ran up" the bill, and the caring meant that when I called or emailed with concerns she answered quickly and the answers were always correct. Susan's knowledge of the law saved me many, many thousands of dollars and her personal concern helped guide me through a very difficult life passage. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to do so.

I can't tell you how happy I was to have Susan as my attorney. Her first priority was for the well being of my two children. She made me realize that I had a responsibility to them first and it really made all the difference. She was fair and I felt like I had a warrior with me in court!! I have lots of experience with lawyers in my business, but this is the first one that I really felt was looking out for me. I would recommend her but I hope not to need her services again. :-)

Horrible! She's arrogant and ill-prepared for court. She finds ways to increase billable hours and charges 4,000 for one day of court! Most of the work is done by her subpar underling. I would have saved myself tens of thousands had I known this before I hired her.

I met Elizabeth Conklyn in the summer of 2013 after a friend recommended her to me. I went into the initial consultation feeling anxious, scared and unsure of the steps to take to begin the divorce process. This lawyer was recommended by two close friends. Upon meeting her for the first time her manner was cold and her communications abrupt. After showing her my legal documents she berated me and said there was not much she could do to help me. As my 16 year marriage was crumbling and coming to a painful end , I definitely did not need this.My purpose and goal of this review is to hopefully spare someone else from this type of treatment especially at such a vulnerable and stressful time in their lives.

Mrs. Jamie Rice with the LaFayette Law Office, LLC has represented me (a Grandmother) since 2017. She represented me on three separate hearings. Ms. Rice is a young attorney. However, do not let her age fool you. She knew more about my child custody case then you would imagine. While the overall rating I gave may have seemed to contradict the other ratings. Here's the explanation: he is a competent lawyer, who can be insulting, and a know-it-all whom doesn't listen. This lead to a constant tug and pull on my part to ensure he has the facts of the case. Plus, anytime a lawyer flat out says to his client, "you do as I say or you fire me". Well.... that was the last straw. But if you can deal with these concerns, you won't have much problems with him because he is competent. I just couldn't any longer.

The worst experience! I filed for divorce in August of 2022 before the divorce laws changed even though the law changes went into effect on October 1,2023 and did not apply to cases filed prior to that she enforced the changes which only benefited my ex. As my counsel Amanda Schmidt never made me aware of the changes or how they would affect my case and just took it upon herself to make the changes without notifying me until it was to late. Sadly my ex husband could have won this case without an attorney representing him with the new law changes.

This lawyer literally is the worst at communicating with people. She threatens and demeans opposing parties. She doesnt know the law shes practicing and continues to threaten filing contempt and other things all while opposing parties are in the legal parameters of agreement. She uses scare tactics and fluff language in her emails to get what she wants. She is awful

From start to finish my experience with Amanda was flawless. She was always quick to return my calls and emails. If she was not available she would have someone in her office call me. Alice G. Pinderhughes is very difficult to work with. She has a horrible attitude and can be very disrespectduk. She seems to be intelligent and knowledgeable about her craft but I simply can not stomach being spoken to in the rude disrespectful ton she insists on using when answering my questions and so that I can better understand my case. Mr. Bailey represented my daughter in her criminal defense trial. He told her throughout trial prep that prosecution had nothing and trial was going to go well for her. Date of trial, another defendant made accusation against her and Mr. Bailey was totally unprepared. I asked if he'd interviewed the prosecution witnesses as prep for her trial and he said no. He talked her into taking a plea deal. Very disappointed in Mr. Bailey's effort and lack of preparation. Can not recommend his services.

The American justice system is clearly set out to destroy men, especially black men! It has lumped all cases into one conclusion. The woman is right! Some women can now boast of destroying their husband, denying them access to their children, threatening to call the cops and lying in court over property. But Ms Butler! Max is the greatest. When the state was trying to sell my son out on trumped up charges from an ex-girlfriend Max stayed the whole way through. I couldn't have asked for a better guy to stand by my son and represent him. Needless to say My son beat the charges. And I would recommend Max to any friend or family or even a stranger at that

I hired her in March of 2017, and she did NOTHING until the week before, we settled outside of the courtroom in July because she procrastinated for so long, did nothing, wouldn't respond to emails or calls, but then said on the day of the hearing I'd have to give her $5000 if I don't agree to the settlement...I still didn't get the fact that she totally screwed me so I again asked her to help me with an appeal and she didn't respond for 5 weeks of continuous emails, missed deadlines, had to postpone my hearing and still missed deadlines...the WORST!

Our family hired Ms. Wall for the handling of our mother's estate. But once hired she fails to reply to letters concerning mom's will. Even phone calls she will not return. And still do not know why. She won't reply to any inquiries. So if you want a lawyer that will not inform families of their mother's estate, this is the one to hire. $2,500 later and no one in the family knows what is going on. The executor knows, but shouldn't the rest of our family know, after all it was our mother? Both this attorney and the executor are hiding information so they both can be "sneaky" so the executor gets to share the funds with Ms. Wall and keep the rest for herself. Now we are pursuing another attorney to find information about our mother's will. Guess the only way this lawyer divulges information is to hire another attorney to find information for our family. Another loss for our family...

Ms. Wiseman did not do anything at the court besides notify the majesty her introduction to the case. After the case was changed to another day, she demanded more money and informed me that she didn't want to continue the case because it was too complicated for her. The case was only to receive the dates for hearings. Very unprofessional and rude.

This office is full of crooked people who don’t care for justice or truth i had a lawyer there named Joshua Sprit and all he did was lie to me and sell me out for a conviction don’t not trust him at all he came to me with a deal and lied to me about what the deal ment because he did not want to go to trail don’t trust these people at all!

I hired Ms. Kohler to represent me in a few matters. She was bright, easy going and kept me updated on the status of my claims. I believe she was a bargain, was happy with the results of the case and highly recommend her to friends and family.

In my personal opinion, this Lawyer needs to get more of an education in laws. She seems to be scared to death to really work for the client. She certainly is afraid of going to court on something and does not speak up in a court room either. I definitely would not recommend this Lawyer for anything other than to make a simple will or drafting up a Power of Attorney. This is the worst lawyer I have ever met with.
