I did an initial consultation with Jeff to be my divorce lawyer after reading these reviews. I’m glad I did. Some of the lawyers I consulted were all about how they could fight in court. Jeff’s focus was on what I wanted, what was best for my three kids, and what was the best strategy. He is experienced and shrewd. He keeps calm, looks for leverage, helps you see what’s worth fighting about and what’s not, and navigates toward settlement when that’s in your best interest while also being tough and good in a fight when that’s what you need. With kids involved, Jeff consistently and genuinely helped me focus on what was best for them—how to protect them from parental conflict, how to emerge from divorce with a healthy coparenting relationship for the long run.

This was my first legal experience and Jeffrey was wonderful. He was extremely candid and realistic with me about everything related to the case, the good and the bad. He told me things as they were, not what I wanted to hear, but had my best interest at heart the entire time. He made sure he had a complete understanding of all the facts and left no stone unturned. Due to his good instincts and diligence, my case got dropped very quickly with prejudice. I will not hesitate to use Jeffrey again for any legal needs in the future.

A few weeks ago during my travels, I encountered a a fellow service member who was in quite a bit of turmoil. He stated he needed a lawyer but didn't know how to hire one as his medical situation rendered him unable to process matters satisfactorily. His needs involved a court system on the other side of the country with an immediate need to resolve a looming deadline. I contacted the practice which Mr. Melick is a partner. After a brief explanation to his office, my call was transferred to Mr. Melick. I was relieved to talk to Mr. Melick as his Google reviews were very encouraging! Mr. Melick initially agreed to see my friend the following Tuesday and wanted me to accompany him if possible. Due to my travel itinerary, I was unable to meet that Tuesday. Mr. Melick cleared his calendar that evening and had us come in to start an evaluation of my friend's needs. I watched a senior partner with over 40 year's experience conduct a humbling compassionate dialogue with my friend. He listened, was forthright, realistic, and patient. Throughout the conversation, my friend was asked what he wanted to accomplish. He patiently explained how some issues were beyond his ability with great respect. He provided insight into the legal world with practical applications. Mr. Melick was able to provide compassion, patience, and sage advice to my friend saving him further frustration with his legal issue. Mr. Melick stayed late with one of his Junior Lawyers and wrote an amazing response to the Courts of another State after a three plus hour meeting with total strangers. Words cannot convey my gratitude for Mr. Melick lending a helping hand to reduce the burden my friend had been carrying. His help enhanced everyone's life that day. He is a selfless, caring, compassionate, realistic lawyer who listens thoroughly to the client.

Attorney Connors was fantastic in assisting me with my Custody proceedings. Herself and her team were always available to answer questions and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I had a collection agency calling me and harassing my family and I daily. I did a web search on that collection company and came across Your Legal Rights Advocates website. I am so thankful I hired this group! I am so thankful to have been referred to Jade! Prior to working with her I had lost confidence in the lawyer I had, so I started a search for a new one....the one I initially met with referred me to Jade and felt we would be a great fit and Jade had openings, as she did not. From the moment I reached out to Jade I felt more confident. She has responded to me from day 1 within 24 hours either by email or phone. She listened to everything I had to say, got creative with different options and had a variety of plans in place as back up to try to keep my original goal in the front of the priority list in the parenting plan. I worked with Jade for about 2 months and got so much accomplished that was unable to get done in 2 years- my only regret is not trusting my gut and finding her sooner this long process could probably have been prevented had I had the right attorney from the start. I would without a doubt recommend Jade in a heartbeat. Divorce of any matter is stressful but a high conflict one is even worse- the way Jade carried herself, the way she spoke to me, and the tone of her voice was all calming. It wasn't too many years ago when I first met this wonderful company; and at that it was by chance. One day I was going to a local/ national chain of a fast food restaurant where as I went to get a drink, I slipped and fell on a spill that was on the floor. Well needless to say the fast food place was quick to try to usher me out the door and try to act as if it was my fault and not give me the support I deserved. Well a friend of mine happened to have R&M's number and told me how good they were. At first like anyone else is was skeptical and thought these will just be some ambulance chasers and just wanted to get quick money and would settle for whatever was offered and move on to next case. Well to my surprise and actually opposite of what I thought of them before I met them; this team was very invested in first my mental health with making sure I felt comfortable with moving forward on the case to my physical health with making sure I received the best recovery care way down to not letting the big franchise lawyers push me around and treat me like I was just looking for a check; I felt they made the franchise respect me as a person first. Sorry this testimony is long but to shorten it up a bit; R&M hung in there with me until a respectable settlement was mutually agreed upon and I felt my dignity was not compromised in any way.
This my friends is why I had no hesitation when I got into a car accident a couple years later the first people I called was R&M I knew I was going to get the same personalized attention and truth be told I feel the max when it comes to representation of my needs.

Hire her. Hire her. Hire her. She will meet and surpass all of your expectations. This was my first experience working with a lawyer and I am extremely pleased with my experience. It’s never fun to be in a situation where a lawyer is needed but having the right lawyer on your side is extremely crucial. I never once questioned if I made the right decision in lawyers. She really listened every time I expressed concern about something and always worked through things with me in a way I always fully understood and was 100% comfortable with. My case was regarding child custody and child support and it felt like I had a great friend on my side defending my rights. It was always refreshing to speak with her and I always left our meetings and conversations confident in my situation. I am actually a little saddened that we will no longer be in communication, as my case has come to an end (in my favor, I might add). Jade is always extremely professional but personable and has never once made me feel incompetent, even when asking questions that had obvious answers. Hire her, you will NOT regret it!

Wyckoff represented me in my divorce. I was in a bad relationship and wanted to keep distance from my partner who kept requesting in-person meetings (which stressed me out). Wychoff went as far as suggesting we:
1. Meet in his office
2. I arrive first and go to room A
3. They arrive and go to room B
4. He will run back and forth between rooms so I never have to see them
5. I'll leave after they leave
Amazingly, they dropped the in-person meetings and we were able to finalize the divorce paperwork over email. He was also great support on the court date when the divorce was finalized. I have other stories of how he helped me throughout my divorce, there's honestly not enough room to write them all here. I couldn't recommend a more supportive and knowledgeable attorney.

Attorney Wright is an extremely talented attorney and very well known among other lawyers and court staff. I was incredibly nervous about my parenting time case and I'm so glad I had her with me. My ex husband was determined to try to take my daughter away from me after the police called DCF on me after my ex boyfriend assaulted me. The whole situation was extremely high conflict and very emotional. Long story short the outcome was a positive one and my daughter is doing well. I can’t find words to express my gratitude for an exceptionally excellent job Lauren had done during my divorce case which was finalized recently. She is truly the most intelligent, diligent, highly knowledgeable, confident, fearless and bold attorney. I didn’t start with Lauren but it was the best decision I made when I hired her (as my 3rd counsel) after firing two previous incompetent and non-transparent attorneys. The divorce was stuck and lingered unnecessarily for nearly 1 year before Lauren represented me. No attorney can beat Lauren in strategy, transparency, timely response, knowledge, and for an honest advocacy. At the court hearing, she communicated clearly with fact based evidences and fearless actions. She was able to make opposition to payback some of the fees. She is very caring and warmest human which we need during the divorce, and also she had been honestly upfront to me by providing true advice, had never promised anything that she couldn’t see within the reach by laws.

I did not start with Lauren, but I am glad I finished with her!! Lauren set a strategy and laid the ground-work early which allowed me to recoup many assets which my spouse had stolen / dissipated during the marriage of which I had been unaware. She built a foundation that allowed us to chip away at lies that were told about me and our family by the other party who decided to go low while we she went high with facts placed in the proper legal context. There were multiple situations where the opposing side refused to provide information; Lauren would have none of it, and over the course the hearings, gave the judge all the information needed to order the opposing side pay legal fees in three situations. I felt that I had a team on my side, and my role was to listen to Lauren’s counsel and provide her with all the evidence she needed to execute. Lauren’s experience, knowledge, relationships with financial experts she engaged upon on my behalf allowed me to move on to build a future where my life is my own.

David was very professional during the whole divorce case. He appeared to run laps around his opposing counsel during my divorce. I am so thankful that I had Andrea on my side as I went through the very difficult process of a very contentious divorce. Every divorce is unique and Andrea made sure she understood the laws around the issues that were unique to ours.
