The best attorney ever. I went through two other attorneys whose rating was above 9 out of 10 and they messed up my case. Thomas stood up for me and helped me get my rights. Thomas tracked all the money my ex husband was hiding and helped me get my share of it and also did a 10 hour deposition which showed the judge that he is a liar. Thomas is nice, attends your phone call right away, even on weekends, always on time, hard working, responds to text messages right away. He is very skilled in performing deposition and tracking down money. The only reason I was able to get my rights and my share for marital assets was because of his hard work and honesty. Best best best attorney ever.

She met with me in person and walked me through the steps of the process, assisted and reviewed my initial filings, and provided general guidance on how to navigate the system, the paperwork, and my upcoming negotiations. I am incredibly grateful to have had Marc represent me in a highly contentious custody case that resulted in a life-changing outcome. What began as a custody case quickly evolved into a complex, multi-day trial with my ex-wife filing for permanent removal from Massachusetts and multiple states being involved.

But fair warning, they will keep taking money from you after all of your invoices are paid and they will completely ghost you. Use a card ONLY to set up payments. One you can cancel.
In response to the response from Turco: You are correct, I did not engage you so all payments to the firm you subsumed in my name should have ended especially when my invoices were paid in full. They did not and money was taken from my account without a contract. Interestingly, I got a refund after posting this review so my advice stands. Make sure to put a payment on file you can dispute. My husband admitted to threatening to kill me in front our mediator at Next Phase Legal, the mediator quit a month later. I asked for the documents showing that my husband admitted this and I was told by the owner via email to file a restraining order if I feel threatened and refused to give me the documents. Added after owner commented: The comments written by the owner in response are not accurate and I can post photos of emails and our correspondence so you can make an informed decision to choose or not to choose this mediation firm.

Although no one wants to go thru a divorce, Stephen at NextPhase made the process seamless. I have worked with next phase legal to help me with my child custody case. Stephen and his paralegal Karen have been such big help in helping me with my case. I have worked with a lawyer in the past and she had told me that with my situation with getting full custody that she wouldn’t be able to help me. Stephen has helped me in so many ways and was very knowledgeable with ever question that I had asked. I had worked through the portal app that they have used and have received all my paperwork and documents. It was great being able to see everything that has been sent to the courts and back and forth. It helped me to keep track of my payments and was a great form of communication between us. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Anthony. He made a very difficult situation manageable. When it was obvious that my marriage was at an end, I retained Judy’s counsel on the advice of another friend who was going through the process. Judy has been practicing in family law her entire legal career and it shows in her level of expertise and experience.
On the first four-way call with my spouse and her counsel, Judy demonstrated her command of divorce law and basically wiped the floor (in a polite way) with the opposing counsel. Apparently, my spouse felt the same way and promptly hired a new attorney.
Fortunately, my spouse was amicable, and we agreed to the terms of the separation. Her new attorney wrote up a first draft of the Agreement and after review, Judy felt the Agreement was too vague and poorly written, so she basically rewrote the whole thing. Judy also took the time to review the Agreement with me line by line and ensured that I was very clear on the more salient terms and legal jargon.
The overall process went smoothly, and Judy made sure to inform me of the process and communicated strategy the whole time. She was very accessible and responsive whenever I had a question.
My only regret in working with Judy is that I didn’t heed her sage counsel early on hoping that I could somehow save the marriage.
Additionally, as a favor to me and because she has a high degree of empathy, Judy agreed to speak with my sister regarding her divorce which is a nightmare. My sister was so impressed with Judy that she tried to retain her, however Judy explained that sometimes it’s best not to make a change when three years into the process with other counsel.
Lastly, while Judy is a rockstar, she has a great band working with/for her. Everyone I interacted with at Egan law was highly talented and capable in their roll.
The process of divorce is very difficult and painful and I thank God that was able to retain Judy’s representation.

John and his team took over a case for me that involved a very difficult attorney on the other side. My case was floundering due in large part to bad lawyering by my previous attorney. John is thorough and careful to document everything in a way that reduces the chances of problems down the road. He does not have a combative or emotional practice style (combative is very expensive for you) and will help you to take some of your emotion out out of the process. He is assessable and responsive (and I am short on patients). His hourly rate is on the high side but his billing practices are very reasonable. The saying, "you get what you pay for", is especially true when it comes to lawyers representing you against a party that wants to take as much as they can from you.

Wyckoff represented me in my divorce. I was in a bad relationship and wanted to keep distance from my partner who kept requesting in-person meetings (which stressed me out). Wychoff went as far as suggesting we:
1. Meet in his office
2. I arrive first and go to room A
3. They arrive and go to room B
4. He will run back and forth between rooms so I never have to see them
5. I'll leave after they leave
Amazingly, they dropped the in-person meetings and we were able to finalize the divorce paperwork over email. He was also great support on the court date when the divorce was finalized. I have other stories of how he helped me throughout my divorce, there's honestly not enough room to write them all here. I couldn't recommend a more supportive and knowledgeable attorney.

A few weeks ago during my travels, I encountered a a fellow service member who was in quite a bit of turmoil. He stated he needed a lawyer but didn't know how to hire one as his medical situation rendered him unable to process matters satisfactorily. His needs involved a court system on the other side of the country with an immediate need to resolve a looming deadline. I contacted the practice which Mr. Melick is a partner. After a brief explanation to his office, my call was transferred to Mr. Melick. I was relieved to talk to Mr. Melick as his Google reviews were very encouraging! Mr. Melick initially agreed to see my friend the following Tuesday and wanted me to accompany him if possible. Due to my travel itinerary, I was unable to meet that Tuesday. Mr. Melick cleared his calendar that evening and had us come in to start an evaluation of my friend's needs. I watched a senior partner with over 40 year's experience conduct a humbling compassionate dialogue with my friend. He listened, was forthright, realistic, and patient. Throughout the conversation, my friend was asked what he wanted to accomplish. He patiently explained how some issues were beyond his ability with great respect. He provided insight into the legal world with practical applications. Mr. Melick was able to provide compassion, patience, and sage advice to my friend saving him further frustration with his legal issue.
