John has been my lawyer for at least a year now assisting with my stressful divorce. He is an honest lawyer who won't act on a request simply because you ask; if he believes it’s not the right or fair course of action, he will not proceed. He fights for what’s best and just for his clients, especially when children are involved. Although I wasn't 100% satisfied with the outcome of my divorce and custody battle. As he mentioned in every litigation, you can’t get everything you want. I trust that John’s expertise and understanding of the judge led to a fair result. He doesn't just do what you want to charge you more or unnecessary; he adheres to the law and ensures that actions are fair.
I recently hired John again for a motion that my ex and I couldn’t agree on. I chose him because I know he will act in the best interest of me and my children. John is not the type of lawyer who will simply charge you for actions without sufficient evidence or necessity. Unlike some lawyers who will do anything for a fee, John maintains a high standard of integrity and only pursues actions that are supported by adequate evidence and proof.

Not only did this firm provide advice to opposing counsel while intoxicated at at event in Reno - they regularly made me feel 100% accountable for my actions while simply protecting my young children from the Covid vaccine. My attorney and her boss, Brian, are through and through entitled liberals with no motives other than to destroy their clients that see things differently than they do. Brian hates this country, our morals, as well as those of his conservative clients. I have never felt more degraded, mortified, and slandered than I did working with him through the beginning of my divorce. If you have any scruples - stay away from this monster and the firm they have created.

Although my case didn't end as I had hoped, Brian did everything that he could to put forth the best case. From deposing my ex to see how he would answer in court to not being afraid to ask the tough questions whether of me or my ex in court. She displays all those great qualities described in the other reviews and more. I know she was totally committed to me and my case in the way that she communicated regularly and personally with me. Still, she is a no-nonsense lawyer who will give you homework and communicate with the court to let you know the status of your case. She explains court postings from eflex. My Ex threatened to bankrupt me. Tehan used the law to protect me. It wasn't painless, but what was done, she did in a way to provide the best outcome for me and my financial stability. She advocated fiercely on my behalf. This may sound corny, but Tehan is a hero of mine. I am very grateful to have had Tehan Slocum as my counsel. You will be glad also! A lot of Alex's clients have gone to other lawyers due to his lack of work. He told me to sign my divorce decree even though I was owed more. He just wanted to get it over with. I had a leftover retainer of $6k that he kept and drew out the process of finalizing my custody order. I had to keep calling and calling in order to get a response. Instead he lied about filing and due dates, threatened to withdraw from my court case, but did not. I had to hire another lawyer and go through the bar to get my retainer back. His exact words were "that's how lawyers make money". And that's exactly what he will do. Fill his own pockets before helping you out. Don't be fooled by the flat fee. If you ask for an itemized invoice he will charge $400 per hour. If I knew that I would've got monies worth instead of the mediocre deadlines.

I actually met Michael by accident. I was a single father trying to get custody of his son after my girlfriend was advised by legal council to leave the state without consent. The way the laws were written, there are nearly no protections afforded single fathers. I was actually using a different lawyer, and due to a very biased judge, I was only allowed to see my son 9 days a month, and I was ordered to pay $693 a month Child support.
Michael worked very hard on our appeal to the state supreme court, and while we were not able to overturn the decision of the original judge (one who is no longer serving as a family judge in the state of Nevada), we were able to get legislation introduced to help cement the rights of unwed fathers in Nevada.
I see the people that gave him low reviews complained that he overcharged them. I can't speak for that, but I can tell you that he did all the work on my case, which would have been well in excess of $100k completely Pro Bono.
While he was unable to get help for me, I do not believe it was due to anything he did wrong, but due to an incorrect decision by the state Supreme Court of the State of Nevada.

She was very friendly at my consultant and I brought my daughter with me. I was already ripped off by my husband of 19 years and I can't touch his trust but I can get at least 1/2 his pension. I'm living with my daughter and her family which I thank God everyday for that Blessing. Ms. Miller said she could do the pension but at no time did she say that was another entity I had to hire. I sold all my jewelry to pay for this divorce below cost but I did it anyway. Then she screwed up by submitting the wrong divorce decree but a work up I reminded them the Alimony was pension not cash. So, I had to tell them it's wrong. And now, after I submit my decree to Teamsters they tell me it won't work there's a whole other paper work to go along with it. At no time did she tell me or give me a referral to the right attorney for my type of divorce. I have no money and now I have to come up with more money. She got her 1k+ what does it matter to her!

I called a well known attorney after seeing his commercials for years back in 2011. I knew I had a case I just needed someone to listen to me and hear my story. That attorney was only interested in taking cases that were a guaranteed win, and as many as possible. He referred me to Phil. I had never heard of Phil or his firm so I was skeptical but had no other option. I left Phil a message and he responded via text to set up a time to talk. Finally someone was willing to hear my story. I was expecting a girl from his office to call in the way that the previous firm had done. Phil called me directly and did not rush me at all. I was a little put off because his personality was different than the charismatic attorneys I had seen on tv, but no one else had given me more than 5 minutes and here he was asking questions and showing empathy and interest for an hour. He believed me. Also he was my only option. He took my case.
What I saw over the year that Phil represented me was a man who was not afraid of or intimidated by anyone. He believed me. He fought for me. It didn’t matter who opposing counsel was or how big the case was going to get. He fought for me and we won. I was awarded a large settlement after three other attorneys told me I had no case.
Phil isn’t going to win best personality or be on a commercial or the cover of those magazines that attorneys pay to be featured in…but I have never seen someone so passionate, determined and unafraid. I hope I have no need, but if I do need an attorney again, I wouldn’t consider anyone BUT Phil.

Philip Trenchak and his Office Staff have helped me immensely with my Separation Agreement from my previous employer. I was new to the area and had no one to speak to when middle management decided to make personnel changes while the CEO was on sabbatical. Basically, my workload was increased and the respect given to me and my support staff decreased.
