At a low point in my life, when the local cops of a large city in Westchester decided to violate my constitutional rights during a false arrest, Alex help me get financial compensation. I was busted up and unable to work after the incident. His straight forward and commonsense approach helped me understand the process and rationally respond to the situation. We got a lucrative settlement relatively quickly. I don't know where my family would be right now if we hadn't found him. Thanks again!

I hired Joanne for a custody case that should have been relatively simple in November of 2019. The cases quickly took a turn for the worse and Joanne was amazing. This was my first time having to hire a lawyer, going in to this I had no idea what to expect. Joanne made what was a hard time seem seamless, her communication skills with me were exactly what I was looking for. I was searching online for a lawyer to handle my uncontested divorce. I found Capofari law and clicked on the link. I called the number listed, in which Peter answered the phone. He knew what he was talking about and walked my (NOW) ex wife and I though all the proceedings. He got the paper work ready, called us in to sign and 7 months later i was divorced. He could not have made it more simple. He made it so easy compered to what other people said that they went though. He is very responsive when you have questions and is very hands on. I had her as my lawyer and I've honestly never met someone as soon nice and caring for someone. I had a good amount of speeding tickets and I never thought I would have my license again or for a very long time at least. As soon as I stepped away and sat down from the judging after finding out what my consequences were, she came over to me and said that she wanted to help me get through this. I didn't think I would get away so blessed, I would recommend her to absolutely anything that she can work with. (Hope nothing again but lol) thank you Ashley.

Casey helped me work through drafting a contract for the process of assisted reproduction with a close friend. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer for this process. She helped me understand all the issues involved - on both a legal and a personal level - and she was extremely knowledgeable about the law as it stands and as it may change in the future. I was nervous about making sure that we drafted as strong a contract as possible. While she wasn't afraid to tell me when something I wanted wasn't possible, her supportive attitude during our conversations helped me feel much more comfortable with the document that we generated over the course of the process, and it ended up containing almost all of what I wanted. In addition, she was not only timely and responsive in our communication, she was also human - and a warm and caring human at that. It's clear that this field is important to her, and that she'll do her best for all of her clients. Casey is an excellent choice for anyone seeking legal counsel in this field.

Hands down the best lawyer around. I had previously hired another lawyer for my divorce and adoption of my son, and after 5 months and several thousand dollars, nothing was accomplished. I was referred to Casey from a friend who had a great experience as well. Casey was able to break everything down and go over everything until I could understand the complicated situation I was in. With her by my side, we were able to accomplish our goals and finalize everything in a timely matter. She was never one of those lawyers who wanted to drag anything out just to drain me of more money (Like my previous lawyer). She was always available to reach when needed, even on a Saturday night!! I would recommend Casey to anyone who needs any sort of legal help. Hopefully I will never need legal services again, but if I did, I will be right back with Casey. Thank you again!!

Maria Gasparis was such a dedicated and personal attorney. I was not an easy client to deal with since this was the first sale of my home. She was always patient and kind and guided me through the process and when it came down to the wire she worked overtime making sure things were overnighted permits were cleared. Mr. Papa was very patient and went well above and beyond the call of duty. He took the time to explain to me sometimes more then three times just to ensure I understood what to expect and what could occur as I am not at all savvy with legal jargon. He was always readily available via phone. If I got his voicemail, he would call me late at night or while on vacation even. He cares. This meant quite a lot to me. He took the time to get to know me as a person, not just a client, and lended the "ear" well beyond what most lawyers do. He understood the person he was representing. Hiring Joel Sunshine took away the worry and fear. From the moment I met with Joel and his team I knew I was in good hands with my Separation case. The intefgrity came through when he spoke and this was of the utmost importance to me. I did not want someone representing me who was going to spin lies. And this is what came through with my husbands lawyer-they lied and made up stories from the beginning. During deposition Joel was so smooth as extremely caring and courteous to my husband. Afterwards my husband remarked what a good guy Joel was and he even said he would recommend him to friends! (He switched attorneys a couple times during our separation). I have known Heather for close to 20-years. Without hesitation Heather is one of the most honest people I have ever known. When it comes to the practice of law Heather is unequivocally at the top of my list of attorney’s to consult and hire. I have hired Heather twice. The first time was in 2005 when I needed an experienced matrimonial attorney. The second time was in in 2015 when I needed a real estate lawyer that knew every nook and cranny of the home selling process. Both times I retained Heather at the moment that I knew I would need an expert to guide me through two of the more difficult aspects of life that one sometimes has to contend with legally. As it related to my real estate transaction, Heather was there for me from before the house was listed with a Real Estate Broker to the afternoon when I signed the last document of the sale. Throughout the process Heather made sure that I understood how the home selling process would take place (it was my first time selling a home) and what the legal aspects would entail. I have also consulted Heather over the years on several legal questions including what constituted an emergency when I needed to have a Power-of-Attorney drawn up extremely quickly. When I showed up for my first meeting with Ms. Bernstein, I was in a panic. I needed help in a divorce against my ex, who made unreasonable and unfair demands and I didn't know what my rights were at all. It was the first time I ever needed legal help. She calmed me down, explained every single step to me and always told me what would be coming next. I know for a fact that she has gone "above and beyond" for me several times. One example: At times, my case was a bit difficult, since it also involved my mother having a share in the family home. The scenario was supposed to go down a typical route but she got in touch with me a short while after we discussed it and told me she'd done some reading and we had another option. I never had a problem getting in touch with her if I had a question or if something worried me. Even if she had a court appearance for another case, I always heard from her on the very same day. I also appreciated that she had a sense of humor and could joke with me at the times I dealt with my stress in that way. There were also times I felt fearful of a confrontation and she made me feel better then too, telling me she'd make sure that didn't happen. I know I'm not giving this review in the glowing words that might impress other lawyers but I'm giving it from my own point of view. Someone who was so scared of the whole process and what might happen to me by the time it was over and I just want others in my shoes to know it can be bearable if you find the right person to help you through it. I can't say enough good things about her and I'd recommend her to anyone I know.

Bonnie Bernstein! It is my privilege to highly recommend her to anyone who needs a family lawyer. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of law and knows how to deal with complicated issues that arises in and outside the court room. Bonnie is meticulous, detail oriented, patient and her paper work and motions leave very little room for disputes from other attorneys. Through her aggressive but fair nature, she has earned the respect and admiration of her peers and judges alike. My divorce was lengthy and very emotionally draining. She was not just there for me all the time to provide the legal advice but she was there as my mentor and a life coach. She was able to control my impatience and tethered my worrisome conclusions. Her impressive language, logical explanations and convincing arguments made me even stronger and confident in myself. Outside the court, she put away the legalese and buoyed my spirits with light humor and words of encouragement. My case was deliberately dragged on but Bonnie proved to the court that the issues were baseless and the court rewarded us legal fees reimbursement and a very good settlement. I am grateful for the legal advice I received from Mr. Allen. His explanations and considerations were extremely helpful for me to maneuver through a difficult phase of my life. He answered comprehensively and at a great pace, while at the same time giving me ample time to think through the possibilities and how I want to move forward. Mr. Allen is simply put: extremely effective. He was helpful from the very beginning and was confident of his abilities and delivered in a very short period of time. He was available anytime to talk to me and even though I was probably one of his smaller cases, he took the time to speak with me and made me feel comfortable and in the loop at all times.
