To make a long story short as possible,I recently was arrested for criminal possession of a illegal handgun in the home,which at one time was a misdemeanor, but not any longer, I was charged with a felony, and that DA offered me one year in jail,with no probation, or five years probation and a felony charge,which would stay on my record for a life,i was busted dead to rights, and the DA did not want to reduce the charges that i mentioned,because.the cards were stacked against me, and seemed like no way out of this mess that I got myself into, after taken his advice and got letters from some professionals, which I cannot mention, and after at least five court appearances, he somehow got that DA to reduce the charges to a misdemeanor and only three years probation, and at a very reasonable fee,much cheaper then all the other lawyers here on Staten Island,he seemed to know his way around the court very well, and seemed to be very well-liked and everyone knew him.I hope to never need him again,LOL but if God forbid I ever get myself in trouble again, he'd be the first person I would call.
PS. Whenever I called him with any questions and he could not pick up the phone, he would call me back promptly, I felt like he was a friend not just a lawyer, you can't beat that.

Im going to be frank . I was seeking an affordable criminal defense lawyer in Staten island to handle my case and no luck . Every lawyer seemed like they hired me before i hired them. When i came across Mr. Capofari he had a differernt demeanor about him. He was honest about my status , punctual upon appointments, and always kept me informed with any updates pertaining to my case. This man not only delivers what he promises but follows thru and then some. Paul Capofari is the attorney you seek if you expect honesty , effieciency and seamless closure. Gloria Baldwin worked with me when I was buying my first house. She took care of all the necessary coordination between the bank, the realtor, and the closing company and consistently communicated everything she was doing all the while. I honestly believe she did 10 times the work I did getting into my house.

Last year hired Mr. Giordano to represent me when Ossining Village (NY) said I owed them around $4,000 for parking tickets. Ended up paying only $400, plus Mr. Giordano's very reasonable fee to represent me in court. Last month AGAIN hired him to represent me for 4 more overnight parking tickets that I did not deserve. Mr. Giordano got them all dismissed. This man is a whiz when it comes to parking tickets in Ossining Village!

Got in trouble with local government; got convicted of aggravated harassment 2nd. Hired Mr. Anthony Giordano, Ossining, N.Y. to appeal the conviction. He wrote legal papers and got the case heard in New York's highest court, the NY Court of Appeals. We WON! My conviction was over-turned. NOT GUILTY! Mr. Giordano's papers submitted to the Court were brilliantly written, and it was absolutely amazing to watch this man in action, in front of 7 Justices. I've since watched Mr. Giordano a few times in local courts and remain amazed at his vast knowledge of criminal and zoning laws.
Mr. Giordano is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have recommended him to around 25 people and all have praised Mr. Giordano's legal expertise and abilities. I contacted Mr. Cohen looking for help with a case related to old debt, of which I had no previous notice. Mr. Cohen offered very straight options and quickly moved to obtain information and resolve the situation. I’ve recently hire the services of Mr. Ronen Cohen and all I can say is that not all lawyers are the same. Mr. Ronen kept me informed thru the whole process either via email or phone call. He actually called me back if I left a voice message. That was my biggest surprise as per my usual past experience all lawyers will have their underling call the clients. After years of maintaining a clean driving record, I received two big tickets within a short time. Together, they amounted to a total of 14 points. I was despondent. Facing the possibility of big fines, increased insurance premiums, and possibly the loss of my Driver's License, I decided not to risk fighting this myself. One short phone call changed all that. From the first phone call, I spoke with Ronen himself, and he was very reassuring. He never promised miracles, but charged me a fair price, and said he would aim to give me the best possible outcome. In the end, one of my 6 point ticket was reduced to zero points, and the 8 point ticket to a 2 point, non moving violation. I am beyond satisfied with his service, and would definitely give him my highest recommendation.

Attorney Santosh Kalra Pawar has helped my family three times over last 10 years. I approached her initially when my brother's student visa (F-1) application got denied at New Delhi consulate. Santosh reviewed my brother's previous application and very willingly took on my brother's case and made the whole application more presentable and professional ...end result is that my brother got the F-1 visa to continue his Graduate level studies.
A couple of years later, I hired this firm to handle F-1 visa for my cousin. Unfortunately, we were working under tremendous time pressure and Atty. Santosh was very willing to work with us under the time pressure and communicated directly with the New Delhi consulate...end result is that my cousin got her F-1 visa.
We hired her again to process Green Card for my parents after I got my US Citizenship through naturalization. We were debating between Consular Processing in India vs. processing in the U.S. Attorney Santosh gave us very practical advice keeping in view our circumstances that my parents could only stay in the U.S. for 2-3 months. What I liked about Santosh was that she was very willing to spend the time and explain in non-legal terms the pros and cons of very alternatives before I hired her and put the money down.
I'd whole-heartedly recommend this attorney for immigration related case.

Mr Bannister was assigned to defend me in a custody case started by my ex-wife. The last time I dealt with a public defender I never spoke to or met the person until minutes before the trial. Mr Bannister called and texted me the day he was assigned. We had several conversations and met with me early on the morning of the hearing. Very professional and very caring about my case. I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. I was in default in 2015 for not having a lawyer to respond. I was not sleeping at night. Mr Belgrave made me feel for the first time in 15 years that someone had my interest in mind. Divorce is obviously a quite stressful time, so it is VITAL that your lawyer does their job professionally, swiftly, and for lack of a better word expertly. My stress level was quite high during this time period, but Mr. Levine made the process easier to deal with. I was well informed all the way thru the process, and I never felt as though it would not be resolved to my satisfaction. While I had worked with a few attorneys, I did not get the results I now have in place until I met and hired Mr. Levine. I met him through chance and and consider myself extremly fortunate to have met him. It might not have been great circumstances given the situation with my ex-wife but it turned around very quickly once Mr. Levine was able to use his years of experience and savy negotiation skills. Mr. Levine returned calls promptly and even offered advice to me DURING THE SUPER BOWL. I know of very few attorneys who would have spoken to one of their clients during the Super Bowl. There was not a time in which I called him that I had to wait too long for a response.
The staff at Mr. Levine's firm was equally responsive and professional while dealing with my case. I am glad now when I have to deal with my ex-wife because I know I have Mr. Levine and his firm on my side if I needed them again. I must also say that knowing I haqve Mr. Levine's on my side has kept my ex-wife in check and not so ready to go to lawyers to try to deal with any issues we might disagree with about our children,. I am with my kids half the time and I can say this is because of Mr. Levine's guidance and knowledge.

Mr. Saltzman helped me when my daughter was abducted from The Netherlands. As for most of us, this was the first time (and hopefully the last) time i had a case like this.
Apart from the professional side, for which he did an excellent job (we pretty much won everything) he gave me the strenght and confidence i needed to go to Court at the other end of the world to enforce the rights of my daughter and me.
In these cases of extreme (personal) importance and with high emotions you need someone like mr. Saltzman, who keeps his head cool.
He was accurate and also took care of thinghs like certified translations, subpoena's etc. He also had the patience to explain me proceedings etc.
He kept me well informed and at the days in Court, he was very pleasant and a big support.

David handled our bankruptcy, achieving the best outcome imaginable for an otherwise miserable situation. He clearly answered our questions, even proposed ideas that we hadn't thought of, which greatly benefited us in the end. He was straightforward and honest - no phony 'sympathy,' etc. Even the one time he chastised us (for showing up late to a hearing), he was obviously distraught because he didn't want US to suffer the consequences, i.e., the delay in resolution of our case. He truly took our case personally, which was really a bonus, compared to all the other things he did right (being on-time with all filings and appearances, drafting professional documentation, etc.), which should just be expected.
Based on our experience, I feel confident highly recommending David for any legal work, not just bankruptcy.
