I was provided with Orochena's information for a free consultation. I cannot be more satisfied with the quality of service. Though I did not speak to Mr Orochena himself, the gentleman who assisted with my concerns was of great assistance. My many questions were answered with not a drop of doubt left and I was presented with multiple options for my case (typically a conversation that will require a sit down and a fee with any other firm. Spoken from experience). Rather than give me a run for my money I was able to save hundreds thanks to Orochena and Associates. I currently live in North Carolina and will recommend EVERYONE I know in New York to Orochena and hopefully I can still conduct business with them at a distance. Keep up the good work guys!

I used Mr. Daiter for a personal injury case. I have referred many people to him. He is incredible. He responded to me personally every time I emailed or called him. He actually answers the phone when I call. Being in the claims industry, I deal with a great number of attorneys. They never answer their phone. I recommend him to everyone. I used Nathaniel’s legal expertise to apply for my green card. Through the entire process, Nathaniel was available and had great advice. It is not an easy process, and having someone like him on your side makes things definitely easier. First, I had a friend who wanted to start a business in the US, he met Nathaniel, followed his advice and ended up receiving a 10 year business visa in the Consulate in Paris. Later, I had a hard time maintaining a relationship with a French citizen as the people in the kiosks at Kennedy airport told him that he should not enter for many months. We asked Nathaniel for advice about it and then married. Nathaniel managed the process to get an adjustment of status, right to travel and work and finally an actual Green Card which came in the mail last week - (Feb 2019). It took a while, because of a clogged up line for processing, but Nathaniel persisted and succeeded. What more can I say?. He was always available on his direct cell phone - day and evening -and I felt free to call with all questions. This was not a rushed office but a very personalized office.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Carol Jaramillo. This was my first time purchasing a home, so it was really important that I surrounded myself with a strong team of professionals to handle this sensitive transaction. Carol was always available and never let a question that I had unanswered. During the transaction, I lost my job and Carol hustled and did everything she could to keep the transaction going. It wasn't until closing that I found out everything that she did behind the scenes that I wasn't aware of; she made sure to not allow me to feel any of the pressure - she took it all on herself. Closing with her was amazing...I was so nervous, and she sensed it and kept reassuring me that everything was going to be OK. Carol was tenacious at closing - seller's attorney tried to say our numbers didn't add up Carol nipped that in the bud immediately. Carol is a rare and excellent combination of smart, tough, tenacious and sweet. I would and will recommend her to anyone looking for a great real estate attorney.

John had handled a drug arrested. This was done in the Town of Putnam Valley. After the third appearance my matter was cleared with an ACD even though I had had prior arrests. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for not just a criminal lawyer but a lawyer in most areas of the law.

I found Maura to be very honast and professional and for me to say that about any lawyer is a lot. I only wish that I would have found her six years and three lawyers earlier. Many of my headaches with my long and drawn out divorce would have been taken care of the right way the first time and with out a lot of pain. Both mental and financial. We used Jessica for our wills and trusts and she was a great person to work with. She talked us through everything we needed to know and to do. She was compassionate, understanding, and very detailed orientated. My mother and mother-in-law, both in their 80's felt very comfortable working with her and we were able to get everything done at a very reasonable cost and in a reasonable amount of time.

Lily is experienced, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, fearless, and honest. She was the second divorce attorney I hired: the first one did not know how to handle a high conflict divorce, but Lily was quick to understand the situation, and fought for me, to achieve the best possible outcome in a bad situation. I was truly afraid of my ex spouse, who could be extremely spiteful, and Lily helped me to feel safe. I appreciated that she did not employ dirty tactics or lies, which the other party did, but was still an able, calm yet fierce advocate for me and for the interests of my children. She knows the laws and the courts very well. I could count on her to give me her honest assessment of the situation and possible/probable scenarios, to fight for me where it made sense to fight, but also to help to bring us to a workable agreement whenever the opportunity arose. She advocated so that I could make choices that I could live with: I wanted to keep my house, and she helped me to do that, even when the other party wanted to force me to sell it. However, she did encourage me to think about all of the options that were available to me before making my decisions. She was kind, patient, and encouraging when I felt that I could not tolerate the stress of the divorce. I believe that she truly understands what divorce feels like for her clients, having been through it herself once. I recommend her highly to anyone who is going through a divorce.

I just finished with more than a year long divorce "saga". Thanks to Lily, we were able to avoid a trial and the case was settled on quite reasonable terms. When my now ex- filed for divorce, I interviewed 3 lawyers and did not feel comfortable. A friend of a friend of mine recommended Lily, and after we first met I was quite confident that I can trust her. Step after step after step, thanks to Lily, we were getting into more and more advantageous position. Lily is a pleasure to deal with; she is easily accessible (you don't need to go through layers of secretaries, assistants to ask a question) , personable, very experienced, has a great intuition and great sense of humor. Divorce is terrible situation, but if you get a lawyer that you are comfortable with, it makes things much easier. I would recommend Lily wholeheartedly.

Senior Citizens... A new Management Company took over the building we have been living in for over 41 years and started pretty much harassing all the Senior Citizens and all Tenants that have had rent stabilized and rent controlled apartments. At first, I tried handling this in the Housing Court myself back in September. 2016, when this all started after they purchased the building in August 2016. To no avail and after 6 trips to the Courthouse myself and being taken for a ride by their lawyers, I decided it was time in November to hire a lawyer. This is when I found Florentina. From the very first hello on the phone she was so pleasant, concerned and promised she would help and not to worry. She got right on to everything, called their lawyer and counseled us every day via phone and email numerously, to ensure we were at ease at all times. When we first met her in Court back in November 2016, she was with us from 9am-4pm as their lawyer decided to play games and play the system to their advantage. Florentina did not stand for it at all. She took total control and filed the proper paperwork for a new court hearing in front of the judge, along with a complaint for repairs which they refused to fix. We went back to Court in Dec. 2016 and again in front of the Judge on Jan. 2017 and by Feb 17th, everything was settled in our favor. She made the judge see that we (my parents were taken advantage of and made it a point to show the landlord and new owner that she was not going to stand for it and will protect the rights of my parents, senior citizens until the very end). I cannot begin to tell all of you what a load off my shoulders Florentina took. She took care of my parents like they were her own. In Court she never left our side and she was in constant contact throughout keeping me in the loop and informed of all steps we would take. She fought like a real true honest lawyer should. I did not believe there were such honest lawyers left ... that is why I tried on my own to help my parents, because I was afraid, but at the end of the day I was not a lawyer and was afraid I would hurt them. Once I met Florentina, I knew they, WE were in the best of hands. I strongly recommend her, but most important, I cannot thank her enough and remain eternally grateful, for the simple fact that she was honest, trustworthy, compassionate and continues to follow-up with us to make sure that all still is well. If that is not DEVOTION, I don't know what is.

My husband and I hired Mr. Wurtzel for the closing of our house. It was a stressful time but the fact that he was responsive to our calls and emails and open to hearing our thoughts (the previous lawyer we used was not), made the process easier. He also has a calming temperment, which is VERY RARE from our experience, and he works efficiently. His years of experience were evident in his clear thinking and in his succint writing. We felt like we were in good hands so we also hired him for a separate deed transfer. His fees were very reasonable, especially for the amount of work he put in (the buyers were difficult and Mr. Wurtzel handled the additional negotations). I recommend this level-headed, hardworking, and kind lawyer.

My experience with Ivana has been nothing short of outstanding. During the most upsetting situation she stepped right in to ensure I fully understood what needed to be done, what to expect, and how to separate the emotion of what I felt to what legally was possible and necessary so that I could listen to her counsel and "let her do her job," which she did without missing a beat. Her confidence, knowledge and willingness to be available anytime put my mind at ease, and for me this was in many ways lifesaving. Ivana was extremely helpful throughout my entire divorce process. From our initial consultation, I walked away with a lot of information, and not feeling as lost as I first felt when faced with this challenge. She gave a clear and honest overview of the process ahead of me. While I felt that she was fully committed to my case, Brittney is a fair and decent person who had the confidence to disagree where I was wrong. That worked to my advantage. I poured many hours and eyestrain, I went without sleep and ate a poor diet, I did everything I could to create a business. After some hard times I am doing better than I every expected. With that money I took care of my family and raised three beautiful children and took care of my wife. Things changed and in a blink of an eye the change in my relationship put everything I worked for in jeopardy. Rather than hash the details let me just say that he was recommended to me along with another attorney who I went to first. I went against my gut going with someone else at first because of mutual friends. (I was also conerned that he worked with a lot of women and might not be sympathetic, which was way off base. After hearing from the other attorney that I should be ready to liquidate, lose the overwhelming majority of my money and my time with my youngest I went back to "Mr. Mo" I call him, (I'm calling him Pashan now). He didn't sugar coat it either but he was ready to fight and to reason and do whatever was necessary so that I didn't have to entirely start over at this point of my life. It was ugly at times and he stepped up, and definitely switched it around to being on the offensive and planned for contingencies. In the end he forced my ex and her lawyer to be reasonable. He also helped me with a good deal of business and trust work and the sale and move I made. I hope I am conveying what a good lawyer and friend he has been. He wasn't trying to hurt people or stick it to anyone or keep things going just to do it, he was just trying to defend my interest in and get everyone to see how they could reasonably make the best of an unfortunate period we had to get through to be happy and move forward.

If you need a QDRO or DRO (for divorce) this is the lawyer you need to use!!! She is the nicest, fairest most decent lawyer I have dealt with and unfortunately I have had experience with three divorce lawyers for one divorce from HELL. She is very competent and knows her stuff. I wish I could have hired her as my first divorce lawyer. Anyway, I was able to have her fix the DRO even though she's in Ithaca and I'm in the Hudson Valley! We did everything over the phone/ email. So don't let distance sway you. If you have a New York State Retirement or 401k and are getting divorced you need to call her. Don't let your divorce lawyer handle the QDRO because they could screw it up like mine did. Use an expert like Carla.

Charles has been representing me since 1993. I have used other attorneys during this time, but have been giving Charles all my business the past few years. He gets things done, no nonsense. He is also very knowledgeable. I was purchasing a home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in 2005 and the seller wanted to stay on as a tenant for 2 years. Charlie reviewed all of the documents and made sure that I gave the seller a 2 year lease. In the end, the lease turned out to be the only way that I could easily prove that the seller was only entitled to stay 2 years. The seller had some remorse 2 years later, but I had a signed contract, case closed. You won't be disappointed..

I was very fortunate to have Shivani represent me in connection with a prenuptial agreement, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of representation in a matrimonial/family law matter. Shivani made what could have been an awkward and uncomfortable process into a completely manageable, expeditious, and helpful experience.
