Patterson Harkavy LLP claims to handle employment matters for employees, but my experience was completely the opposite. They turned me away without even bothering to do an intake to review my claim. When I tried to follow up by phone, no one ever answered. If you're dealing with legal issues, I wouldn't recommend reaching out to them—they're unresponsive, and it's clear that employment matters are not their priority. Very disappointing.

Attorney Richardson is frank, direct and goes straight to business. Something that I respect is just that. When his words to me is “What do you want to do?” That was my first sign to me he means business. Here I was thinking I’m going to meet his paralegal. Absolutely was not the case. I found myself in a room sitting in front of the attorney himself. After offering us coffee (my wife and I) the attorney went right into my case. He listens, processes all that you tell him about your case and then executes what is best for you. After our first meeting (same day) it didn’t take an hour before he had us sitting once again in his office gathering more information about my case. PHENOMENAL experience and exactly what I need. Someone who actually cares and has a personal relationship with his client.

His ethical approach to a difficult job when you are dealing with the most trying of times was impeccable. He was always up-front in discussing the realities of divorce and constantly kept the ultimate goals of the case in focus. Rik's paralegals are also top-notch in assisting with your case. The fee structure was fair, and the expertise and experience Rik provides is invaluable. I found Rik extremely easy to communicate with. Look as much as you like, but you would be hard pressed to find his equal.

I am so grateful for Matt Arnold and his team. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be going through a divorce. After almost 22 years of marriage that is exactly what I was doing and I was a complete mess. At the consultation Matt was straight forward and painted an accurate picture of what to expect.
From the hiring of Matt to our final day in court was a 5 1/2 year process. Throughout the entire process Matt and Joanna, his paralegal, were amazing. Never...ever did I feel unimportant. Whenever they were working with me I felt like their only client. I had some less than stellar moments and every time they would kindly and graciously help me get back on track and refocused on the end goal.
We had several court dates throughout this divorce process. Every time Matt was completely prepared. He is formidable. He doesn't get flustered or caught off guard. He has a grasp and understanding of the law that is, in my honest opinion, unmatched. He and his team leave no stone unturned. They do absolutely everything they possible can to achieve your absolute best outcome.
The divorce process most likely will take longer than you want and cost more than you want. The lawyer you hire to carry you over the "finish line" holds your future in their hands. 2018 I consulted 2 attorneys before contacting Mr Arnold. I was told twice that I screwed myself being Pro Sa and that I’m lucky my ex bf- no blood relation to my son, didn’t get more visitation rights than what was awarded. I wasn’t accepting that. Matt Arnold and his team got my case dismissed and my ex no longer had rights to a child who was not biologically his. I would chose him again in a heartbeat and have recommended him to others. When I was told the door had closed, Mr Arnold knocked it down. Thank you so much!

Kathy Richardson got my speeding ticket reduced significantly, and handled every aspect of the process with mastery. I called to tell her about my situation, and once I hired her, she sent me emails letting me know about my case when needed and assured me that it would work out, and it did. This was the easiest process. If you’re on the fence, hire her. You’ll be glad you did. I sure am.

When I called Ms. Richardson, she was very professional and easy to work with. She listened carefully to my account, specified what she needed from me to proceed, and then followed through in court. Since I am a caregiver, who is unfamiliar with the court system it would have been difficult and time consuming for me to proceed without her expertise.

Towards the amazing team at Riddle and Brantley. I was in a really bad car accident. And after trying to work with the insurance company with the at fault party and they weren't willing to help me. I honestly felt like it was the end of the road, and no one was going to help me.
Then I contacted this company and man old man. I can honestly say they came in the clutch. I'm blessed and grateful to my lawyer Daren Dawson and the exceptionally gifted an incredibly sweet patient Case Manager Kalena Tavares for their time and effort and assisting me when I needed someone the most, they didn't just treat me like a patient. I had to leave a 5 star review despite never working with Jetton and Meredith. I inquired for their services earlier this afternoon seeking help for an obscure case that happens to be out of their line of practice. However, not only did they promptly respond to me - but had an employee of theirs personally call me and give me a referral phone number where I could possibly find someone to help me. This level of professionalism is greatly noticed having been rudely turned down by several of the “best attorneys in Charlotte.” Any cases I may experience in the future that falls understated their line of practice - best believe I will be giving them my business. Johnny Hutchens represented us in a juvenile matter. I can't say enough about how great he was, and the people and firm behind him.
