I met with other attorneys seeking legal representation to obtain full custody of my daughter. They didn't seem professional or as if they would be very devoted to my case or the delicate nuances typically found in custody battles. When I met with Marisa I knew she was the one I wanted representing me because she was extremely professional and confident. She explained several different avenues we could walk through and provided a plan of action that was extremely specific to my situation. When other issues regarding my case came up she made sure to maintain a reasuring demeanor and maintained communication until problems were resolved and went above and beyond at times when dealing with the mother of my child (who was very difficult to deal with). I would and will recommend Marisa to anyone. Thanks to Marisa I now have full custody of my daughter.

I was in a bad financial situation, with seemingly no way out. My employer recommend attorney Mr. Bayer. Not Bayer and associates which made a huge difference. When I called with questions they was answered. Calls returned, and Tina she's priceless. Most people are embarrassed because of the situation in the first place. Tina has a way of about herself that automatically makes you feel at ease. Mr Bayer does what you hire him to do and explain's your options clearly. Mr. McNeil was very professional with his job and made us feel so at ease. Any questions I had he had the answers. If he was unavailable he would contact me promptly. He didn't make me feel bad about myself and the problems I was having. He kept in contact with me to let me know how things were going and if there was a problem getting paperwork we worked together and got it to get it signed. I will be sure to recommend him to anyone I know. I also liked that he sent papers to me to make sure when I would have an appointment I would have everything he needed and I could email him if things came in after our meeting.

Michelle is my divorce attorney. She understands my needs and concerns and is very diligent when it comes to taking care of things when I need her to. She is kind, productive, and gets results. But she is also a "I will take no nonsense" kind of attorney, and I definitely need someone like that when it comes to my ex-husband. My ex-husband and I have a very small child, and Michelle also considers my sons needs as well as mine. I would highly recommend Michelle especially if you're dealing with a spouse that is controlling, manipulative, and/or vindictive. Michelle is productive and get outstanding results. My daughter bought a home on land contract. She paid religiously for two years but noticed the neighborhood was really declining and the property almost lost half of its value since the inception of the contract, (She paid 72,500 for the house in Jan 2013 and its now valued at 44,500). Knowing she would never be able to get a conventional loan since the value of the home was far less than what she owed, I reached out on AVVO for some quick advice ( she was just going to finish the land contract out and not seek additional financing) . I heard from several attorneys, most of which said she would be sued hugely. They said the home would be sold as a sheriff sale and what monies were owed after that on the remainder of the contract, she would be responsible for and consequently, sued for!!! I was panicked, as she is 23 years old and put all of her savings down on the home. Mr Ott reached out to me, citing an old Land Contract Law which could apply. I met with him that week. He was knowledgable , throrough and kept my emotions in tact saying this sectionaed law could apply. He was so eloquent when trying to negotiate the terms on which to opt out. What I have learned from this is......................dont ever sign a contract without an attorney reviewing it! Mr. Ott said that we should have put a stipulation in the land contract that she would refinance only if the market value of the home was worth the owed price. Mr. Ott negotiated a cancellation of land contract professionally and with minimal monies needed by my daughter. He was upfront about legal costs and billed accordingly and more than fairly. If you need an attorney, hire him!!!!

Mr. Ott has been helping me in a probate/potential will contest matter. He gave me good personal service and was very responsive to my questions, concerns, and needs. He did speedy research (on issues dealing with out-of-state law) and continues to monitor my case as it unfolds (or drags out), which is work beyond what I initially expected. When I ask for specific counsel, he is usually very responsive. What I like about his service is that I feel that he "has my back", i.e., he's been acting as my eyes and monitor even when very little on the case is going on.

I met with Tom for a free initial consultation. Not only did he spend significantly more time with me than was necessary...but, he actually referred me to another law firm local to my proceedings. I would like to echo what has been said in the other reviews and add that Hans has the rare combination of being an extremely ethical and personable attorney. His legal skills and knowledge are outstanding but even those are overshadowed by his interpersonal skills. He had the ability to deal with opposing counsel's atrocious behavior and prevent my case from going to trial, but still was able to obtain an advantageous settlement for me. Truly, it is amazing to watch him work. He has an incredible memory and a keen sense of how to handle people in a warm and personable manner. He has a reputation in the court system for being an ethical and courteous person, yet not someone who can be taken advantage of. He is an extremely hard worker, and was able to implement my wishes as much as humanly possible based on my initial and subsequent interviews with him. It was very comforting to have him working on my side during the worst year of my life. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for his help.

I worked with Hans on my child support case about a year-and-a-half ago. He was a fair, efficient attorney who handled my case well. I consulted with Doug mid-court action. While I have no complaint about my previous attorney, I really appreciated Doug's ability to explain the issues at hand. It was so refreshing, comforting and he definitely went beyond my expectations in terms of effort. The court action I was involved in was stressful several unexpected roadblocks to winning. While he wasn't magic and couldn't erase those, he did provide a great analysis of their weaknesses so I was able to get a decent settlement. He would definitely be my first choice if I ever need future representation!

Doug helped me through a divorce. I had always heard that they can be messy and expensive. He and his staff made it pretty painless, fast and it did not cost me a bundle. He is extremely knowledgeable, doesn't sugarcoat anything and is very open, honest and diligent. Parking at his office is not a problem, which is rare in Columbus. Jesse Taylor was a very professional and knowledgeable young man. This was my first time ever going to court and the first time I’ve ever had to hire a lawyer. My attorney worked diligently with so much compassion and determination to have my granddaughter removed from an unsafe environment and returned home to me while decisions are being made regarding her living situation in the Juvenile Court system. Aaron Maus worked so hard day in and day out to ensure this child safety. I will be forever grateful for Aaron. I feel he was personally part of this case as his communication was extraordinary and his heart is involved for the best interest of an innocent child!

Aaron is very down to earth and easy to communicate with. He was very responsive when I contacted him with anything in reference to my case and showed a lot of support. I have been able to call Mrs. Horner for any problem I have had . She has took her time to understand my situation and went above and beyond to help me in anyway she could. I went to Anica in 2007 to file for an uncontested dissolution from my ex-husband whom lived 1300 miles away. She is an extremely caring, compassionate, and kind person. She really takes the time to get to know her clients, understand their situations, and she does her best to make the process as stress-free as possible. We had some bumps and lumps in the journey towards dissolution due to the distance, but she worked diligently to get the case wrapped up and taken care of, so that I might have my life back. I highly recommend Anica and she is extremely professional and courteous. Best divorce attorney in the area, in my opinion.

My husband and I hired Shaun to represent us for the adoption of now our son. From our first consultation to the final hearing he was everything i could have hoped for in a Lawyer. I found myself in a bind when I met Mark. My previous lawyer grossly neglected my case. My prior lawyer caused me to nearly miss a critical deadline two days away, and wouldn’t even agree to speak with me until after the deadline. Mark jumped in reviewing the details of my case on a Sunday. He gathered the pertinent content i.e. Ohio codes, statutes and case laws, to succinctly file - meeting my deadline the next day!. Mark’s articulate defense resulted in the restoration of my eleven year Parenting Plan: me returning Residential Parent, and reversing Sole Parenting wrongfully given to my Ex-spouse. Not only did I find a lawyer in a pinch - but caliber lawyer on all fronts. Mark listens to requests, and frames and refines his defense material around the core requests. Mark is a gem because he adds the extra piece lacking from many lawyers – authentic spoken and demonstrated empathy for whom he represents – the immediate client, and extended parties. I have gone through four lacking lawyers in over almost 12 years - fighting to protect my parenting time. I discovered Mark is what a great lawyer looks like!

I can’t speak higher praises of Morgan. She was recommended to me by a friend, and while I consulted with lawyers that had more experience I went with my gut feeling and hired Morgan. She was available at all times to help me with any and all questions and concerns, and was very honest about best and worst outcomes of my situation from the start. With her attentiveness, experience, and professionalism, she was able to achieve the best possible outcome for my situation. Though I used Morgan as counsel for a poor situation I was in, I won’t hesitate to use her services in the future for other legal matters.
