Mark Dunevant was recommended to me by a long-time friend and her lawyer husband after I was served with papers in a civil suit. I found Mark to be very professional and thorough in all my dealings with him. He was fair in his assessment of my case and many times told me things I did not want to hear, but ultimately his counsel was always correct. I had a lengthy property settlement & divorce. And it was because of her that we were able to keep it as amicable as possible. She first helped me through the Property Settlement. Followed by guiding me through the Divorce that followed. Patience was the key to my particular situation. But I know ifthe situation had called for more feistiness, she would have been right at my side for that, too. Everything is finalized now. And I know things would have been far worse and more stressful if I hadn't had her in my corner.
Everyone at NOVA Legal Professionals that I've spoken with is kind and knowledgeable. I spoke most often with Corrie and Brenda Membreno (paralegal). Separation and divorce are, by their nature, unpleasant and emotional situations. But they were amazing at helping that sometimes complicated situation feel less overwhelming.
She was the only attorney I have ever hired on my own, for any situation. But I did a lot of research before I did so and I read a lot of reviews. Her specialties and the other reviews seemed to say she'd be a good match for my situation. And the consultation I had with her confirmed that for me. Divorce lends itself to a lot of complicated feelings, but hiring her was never one I felt torn about. I'll always be grateful to her for helping me through this.

Corrie was incredible to work with, you can believe everything they say on their website. She treated me and my divorce case with compassion, respect, understanding, and honesty. In my opinion, honesty shouldn't be understated in today's world. I happily settled in mediation. She was very well prepared for any eventuality that could come up. We used most of her preparation too. The opposing attorney wasn't as well prepared, and it made all the difference in the world for me and my case. I feel for anyone going through a divorce but very highly recommend Corrie Sirkin and Nova Legal Professionals!

Frugal Legal Services should be the staple for how all parents are represented in custody cases. Ms. Burroughs worked hard and diligently on my case and set realistic expectations. My case had a ton of unrelated issues to custody and Ms. Burroughs was completely understanding and worked through our nearly 9 month case. Ms. Burroughs is a magical and enlightening person who gets results. I went from having no contact with my children to now everything is 50/50 and I get to see my sons every other week and have the assurance that no one should be able to change that. The only shame here is that I can only give Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services 5 stars because it doesn’t let you show off the absolute brilliance of the firm or Ms. Burroughs. Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services are the prime and top option of any family matters should anyone require those services. I often encounter Shawn in court and he always conducts himself professionally and ethically. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I feel that Shawn really does have the best interest of his clients in mind. He is not an attorney that just wants to settle cases and move on. I often consult with him about legal issues, and he is always able to produce proper legal advice.
Additionally, he has a wonderful relationship with the Judges and that goes a long way in criminal defense.

Kim is one of the best divorce lawyers in the area in my opinion. My case involved a high conflict person with personality disorders who manipulated our son and the system to her advantage. After having another lawyer not present my evidence at trial, I hired her. She stands out because she became intimately involved with my case, was available for offering advice on off-hours, knows technology, was realistic, knew how to negotiate, and helped me change my perspective for better results. I originally booked a consultation last year with Pervaiz to discuss my options since I was going through divorce. I didn't have enough info for her during my 1 hour consultation so she cut my session short. So I ended up having a credit for 150$ from the 300$ hour consultation.
After I finalized my divorce amicably with my ex, I decided to reach out to schedule a consultation to write a Will. No Money was collected for this appointment, I just reminded them I had the credit still in my account and they confirmed. I called and emailed the day of my appointment to let them know I had a 103 fever and that I was very sick and I am not able to discuss anything related to a "Will". I mean how could you? With a high fever!! This is a serious topic and you need you full brain capacity to do so!!
Pervaiz refused to reschedule my appointment and they told me if I do not call at my appointment time that they will not allow me to reschedule.
I was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia and they can clearly tell I am not making my sickness up from the way I was coughing. I offered to send a doctor's note however she just decided to take the credit I have left with them instead of being empathetic with my situation! This clearly shows you that she doesn't care about people! And she just knew I had a credit and took it!
Sickness happens and this unpredictable. I will not recommend her to anyone especially after what happened to me!

I started to used Rhonda after my divorce was final and there were items in the MSA that were not being followed. She is an incredible attorney that gets things done quickly and efficiently. One of the things I appreciate the most is that I do not have to wait long for a response; many times you are waiting and re-calling/checking on items. She works fast to get things accomplished. I know whatever I bring to her she will take care of in the best way possible and in a timely manner.

Eric Demetriades with the Marquis Lw Group is the most competent lawyer I’ve ever met. I was arrested for a complicated DUI case, which he handled flawlessly. From the first consultation to the final hearing, he was there to answer all my questions and got back to me expeditiously. Eric suggested a continuance to give me time to follow his recommendations which proved to be the right path. On each of the two days I was to be in court we had great pre-trial conversations which put my mind at ease. In court he was communicative and explained his expectations. His ability to work with the prosecutor and show the positive steps I had taken (Eric’s advice) yielded 100% of the sentence suspended with minimal fines. I couldn’t ask for a better attorney or result.

My brother was hit in the of his truck on duty. The defendant and the cop in charge of reporting the crime to the court have tried to intimidate and blame my brother to be at fault of the incident. We asked for Mr. Yeargan’s help and he fully represented my brother and won the case. My brother was not found guilty in anyways.

I am a client of Ms. Quinn and paralegal Peg, and she won my case in settlement. I met Colleen from a referral of a referral. I was facing a hostile work environment because of my sexual orientation (I'm a gay pastor/Chaplain) at the Veteran Affairs Hospital. I filed a EEOC against the Veteran Affairs and won with Colleen leading the fight. She was costly for me, but was worth the risk. I say that not only in hindsight after winning the settlement, but I say this because I watched her advocate for me, with me, and I felt was with me throughout all of it. In my David and Goliath battle against the Federal Governement, Colleen and Peg picked up our little stones of my story and just like the story reveals, we won. Mr. Beale has been assisting me with a very painful, complicated, and unexpected divorce case involving shared tax debt, a co-owned business, and the custodial arrangements for 4 homeschooled children between the ages of 4 and 13. I have found him to be sensitive to my emotional trauma, knowledgable, professional and yet approachable in his demeanor, honest in his assessments, responsive to my calls and texts, and reasonable and transparent in his billing.
He helped me find a private investigator who was efficient and effective in confirming the suspected adultery. He was always receptive to, and respectful of, my input. He reviewed written exchanges between myself and my estranged spouse to assess the nature of our relationship and of our disagreements, and to protect me from conveying things that could be misunderstood or misconstrued. He encouraged me to stand up for myself, while helping me keep my focus on the most important aspect of the situation - the wellbeing of our children.
Due to the high costs of divorce cases, from the beginning, Mr. Beale encouraged me to pursue mediation before involving the courts. He recommended two different mediation groups, and was open to helping me prepare my position for presentation to those parties, either with or without his attendance. I was warned many times by others I was speaking with that attorneys commonly drive these cases into the courts and bleed you dry. But Mr. Beale never encouraged that, and has always respected and supported my desire to avoid unnecessary formal litigation. I have always felt that he legitimately cared about my wellbeing and my financial security, and that he feels he does not need to take advantage of clients to support himself.
I have been pleased with Mr. Beale's service and advice, and would recommend him to friends and family without reservation.

If you need a strong lawyer, that has your back, and always thinking about you and your needs, she is the lawyer you for you.She saves me lots of money and was always very professional and matter of fact. The billing retainer was very reasonable in which my ex spouse spent three times more than my case. I didn’t have to be pay my ex spouse attorney fees, which saved me tons of money. Tawyna is the lawyer you need and would be foolish to go with someone else. Will go to battle with her again in the future. Her legal team is amazing and the model of professionalism. I was referred to Tawnya by The Alexandria Bar Association (ACBA) Lawyer Referral Service, for my uncontested divorce.
I arrived at the office for my consultation appointment. The receptionist (a gentleman, didn't catch his name) didn't tell Tawnya that I arrived. 10 minutes later, she came out, and was surprised to see me. Unfortunate, but fine. Now we can begin.
We get to her office, and the conversation went thus:
What's your situation? I'm getting a divorce
How long were you married? 6 years
I sent you paperwork, you didn't complete it. Yes I did, I emailed it back to you.
Do you have a signed settlement agreement? No, she won't sign.
Did you send that to me? Yes, in the same email.
Oh! There it is.
I was beyond frustrated. I booked a 30 minute appointment, and the majority of it was eaten answering questions that I had already provided answers and documentation for when she requested it 4 days prior. I was very thorough, to avoid this exact scenario. I wanted this meeting to be productive. It wasn't.
She talked me through the process, answered a few specific questions I had brought with me, but ultimately, nothing I couldn't have found online. Very disappointing experience.

Steven and his assistant Julia were and are the perfect professionals with the patience and expertise and experience to guide me through my first and hopefully last divorce. I was and am probably their most disorganized client ever and after a 30 relationship ended at total wreck. But there is light at the end of the tunnel and not only did they get me through the darkness but where and still are my most trusted councilors. Jason Weis represented me in a post-divorce matter to look at spousal support. This case was a bit more complicated and required hiring a couple experts and Jason was awesome throughout everything. The experts he suggested were excellent and really helped our case. He and his whole team were extremely detail oriented, kind and polite to deal with (which makes a HUGE difference to me), and were really thinking about every angle and aspect to make sure we presented the best possible case. In court, I was blown away. It was clear throughout our 3 days in court that he was the better attorney, made sure all our evidence was presented and we got everything in that we thought was important, and always kept a calm and focused demeanor. The case ended up better than I ever could have imagined and am SO thankful that I was able to find Jason.
