My first law firm and a very fantastic one indeed. Before the court day, communication with the Paralegal, Alicia Orellana, was excellent in preparing for my court day. Alicia is professional and very responsive. Paul Mickelsen was my attorney for a reckless driving case. During court day, I was very nervous as this was my first reckless driving case, and while I was in the courtroom, Paul approached me a couple of times and told me not to worry and that he'll take care of me, which was very reassuring and calmed me down. Paul got my reckless case completely dismissed, and the result was much better than many cases I have seen in the courtroom, which did not have a lawyer. Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed. When I had my first consult with Attorney Wade, I knew I struck gold. She was able to listen to my concerns, see the big picture, and she dissected 3 years of my litigation timeline in 45 mins. A tentative gameplan was formulated and the strengths and weaknesses of my case were discussed. We worked together as a team and when it was time to make strategic decisions, she always had a plan in mind and I often agreed with her and we proceeded accordingly. She never blew me off. She responded to my emails and telephone calls within a very reasonable time. Even when she was caring for a sick family member she still found the time to respond. In short, Attorney Wade managed to convince my ex-wife and opposing counsel to a consent agreement that really benefited me and my children. David has assisted my family in two separate child custody cases. One was for physical custody of my husband's daughter. David was able to help my husband obtain physical custody of her by practicing ethically and with integrity. This was a lengthy and drawn out case with many complex across state line issues. He went above and beyond his call of duty to answer all of our questions and guided us in a way that we were within our legal rights and also protecting the best interest of the child. We had absolutely no issues getting in contact with him and were also able to establish a relationship with his assistant, Jessica. We trust David so much that we hired him to assist us in obtaining full physical and legal custody of a family member's child. Shannon is handling my current divorce. Very patient and understanding, yet gives it to you straight and truthful. Very fair in regards to cost. Has charged 1/3 of my wife's attorney yet has filled me in more and made sure I understand what she is doing for me in trying to move forward. Has recommended actions to me that I have taken and some I have not, but understands why I decided not to without badgering me. I'm no easy client, and I have probably handcuffed her in defending me. But she consults me and gives it to me from both perspectives. I'm so glad I found her services and double glad she accepted me as a client. Her assistant Kaila is a saint as well. Thanks to both of them for helping me.

I hired Ms. Otto to assist me with my divorce in 2012. She was very easy to work with and did a great job in dealing with my ex husbands attorney. We were able to come to an amicable separation agreement in a very reasonable amount of time which was important to me so that things didn’t get dragged out. I also hired her and her partner Mr. Locke to assist me in another part of my divorce which had to do with my mothers will and again they were nothing but professional and swift in getting that situation wrapped up. I have referred quite a few folks to Ms. Otto including my daughter for a prenuptial agreement. If you’re looking for a great lawyer that will get things done in a timely fashion with your best interest at heart look no further.

I retained Ms. Shannon Otto and she helped me to file a couple of show cause motions for contempt of court, she also helped me to increase my visitation time, and to update our child support schedule. I am extremely impressed with Ms. Otto. She is very knowledgeable, professional and honest attorney. During the discovery phase she was very thorough and she made me work a lot to compile all the information that could serve as evidence. I really appreciate the way that she represented me in court, in front of the Judge, Ms. Otto was always very well prepared. She focused on the important issues, and she chose her battles wisely. At the end, I am very pleased with the outcome of my case. Grant and his team are an amazing group of people. Grant was able to step into my case midway and navigate through all the complexities with visitation, custody and financials relating to the PSA. He saved me time in court by being able to strongly negotiate my terms using various strategies to get the other side to come to terms. I especially found is demeanor to be most reassuring, he uses a fact-based approach to resolve issues and really stands his ground. He truly fought for me and my children. He also fought for my financial well being, he created agreements that stated remedies I could take on my own if the terms were defied. This helped preventing going back and forth in court. Mr. Damico helped through the process of working through a difficult custody case and a frivolous criminal charge my ex brought against me. I ended up after the lengthy amounts of arguments and cases with custody of my kid almost half of every month and found not guilty if the ridiculous charge that was brought against me. He doesn't pull any punches and he'll give you his no BS opinion on things. I greatly recommend him, and thank you Mr. Damico for getting this father time to spend with his daughter. I would hire her again. Shannon brought her A game, through out my case she was understanding, clearly explained the process and my rights, and made me fell comfortable about going to court. Grandparent rights are difficult cases but Shannon hit this one out of the ball park. I was locked in a 5 year struggle to get my kids. I had two lawyers before Shannon and lost mostly because I am male. Shannon put together a solid case and never once blew smoke up my butt. She is going to give it straight the whole time. I will tell you she will rip a sole out in court, she smiles and takes care of you so get her before your wife does I don’t want to be sitting on the other side of this woman. She was well prepared every time and knew exactly how to maneuver the courts. This Dad now has custody of his kids because of two things 1) went to see Shannon early 2) took Shannon’s word as the gosiple. I will never use another lawyer, I hope I never have to. Attorney Lemm is like a Venus Fly trap. Pretty flower, but if you land in her trap she will chew you up and spit you out. I retained attorney Lemm a little over a year ago. I was going through a contested divorce and custody battle. I tried playing nice with my ex and attorney Lemm advised me not to, but I didn’t, I didn’t listen. After learning my lesson the hard way, I was drained and exhausted. Attorney Lemm said to me, are you going to let me do my job now? My ex was keeping the kids away from me, threatening my job and livelihood. She said we are going to “TAKE HER DOWN”! Our day in court came. I was blown away by her spark, attitude, and her ability to own the one person who made my life Hell for so long. A person who lied, manipulated, and was pure Evil in my life was getting owned on the stand. It was so bad that I couldn’t look up, because I was grinning so hard. My time, patience, and frustration was all being wiped away with pure satisfaction as she destroyed the person who tried to destroy me. In the end she got me every thing I wanted and needed, but to put the icing on the cake she had all my Court and legal fees paid for that day. I had no idea what she was aiming for, but I’ll say this I’m happy she was representing me. Cause I couldn’t imagine being drilled by her. It was so bad for my ex, that the following week I received an email that my ex wanted to move into finalizing the divorce. It was a win for my whole family. Attorney Lemm and her team are rockstars. I would recommend her every time to anyone in the Hampton roads area. I thank you again Ms. Lemm.

Ms.Lu Aloupas is awesome. I am a father/Soldier that lives in North Carolina that was enduring alot of resistance from my children's Mother that lives in Virginia regarding Custody/Visitation. 12 July 2016 Lu Aloupas is an extraordinary lawyer. I had an issue with a neighbor who asked the court to grant a Protective Order against me. I was innocent, but I did not have the knowledge to fight this on my own. Based on online reviews, I decided to call The Law Offices 0f Lu Aloupas. This is the best decision I’ve made in a long time. In our first phone call she patiently listened to my jumbled story (I was nervous) and then advised me what to do immediately. She then asked if I would like to come to her office (she has offices in Hampton and Chesapeake) and because she sounded so knowledgeable (and calm) I agreed. When I met her in the Hampton office we went through the basics of the case and then she asked if I would like to retain her services. We discussed the price, and I agreed. Here is my opinion about the cost. Of course I think that lawyers make waaaay to much money. But as I found out, if you don’t hire a lawyer, you will be overwhelmed by the system, and by stress. Her prices are fair. There might be a cheaper lawyer, and I know there are more expensive lawyers, but her value in my case totally justified the cost. My case was heard at the York County Circuit Court. On the date of the court hearing we met before the scheduled time and she explained exactly what would happen. She said “I know you are nervous, but stay as calm as you can.” I thought that’s easy for her to say. She told me to not be surprised if the other party changes his story, it happens all the time. She said not to react to this, that she would handle it. Just listening to her gave me confidence and remarkably, I was less nervous. From the beginning the outcome never seemed to be in doubt. The other party represented himself (huge mistake) and Lu was like a TV lawyer. You honor “Motion to Separate”, objection your honor “Relevance”, Move to Strike Your Honor “Hearsay”. The Judge sided with Lu every time. The Judge dismissed the request for a protective order against me and restored all my rights. I was like someone lifted a building off my shoulders. You might have heard the saying that nobody likes lawyers until you need one. I can personally testify that if you are involved in any legal action you need a lawyer. And if you need a great lawyer, at a fair price, I can, without reservation or hesitation, recommend Ms. Lu Aloupas, Esquire. Dave

Wow! Working with Mrs. Stewart was one of the best investments I've ever made-next to investing in real estate! The service I requested was a contract review and she pretty much dissected the contract and exposed sinister intention. She explained how contracts should be construed in accordance to the locality/state of the party. She offered great advice such as being able to exit a contract under your terms and that it shouldn't be unilateral or in the favor of the other person. There is so much more I could write, but I have to go to bible study now!

Every divorce is as unique as the individuals involved. I originally hired a large national family law firm to represent me. Their business model was not able to address my personal concerns regarding the divorce. I hired SuAnne in the middle of my contested divorce. She understood my concerns, my values and was able apply that information into “attorney speak”. She affectively communicated with the opposing party’s attorney, negotiated when reasonable and most importantly knew when to stop negotiating. SuAnne rigorously protected my rights as a father and now I can get on with the business of actually parenting my children. BTW: I was VERY pleased with my negotiated financial settlement! I could go on forever, do yourself a favor, stop looking and hire Ms. Bryant.

Suanne has been a wonderfully lawyer she as well as her paralegal are great with communication. I had found Danielle while searching for a divorce attorney online. I was impressed with her reviews and the outstanding results she had performed for her clients over the years. The amazing part is that her performance is supreme yet her charges are very reasonably priced compared to many other attorneys and that is very difficult combination to find in a successful attorney for any client. I have been working with Danielle on my divorce case since Dec 2018. For any challenging and Unusual circumstances during this time, she has never failed to promptly respond to my messages, emails and phone calls. She has always explained to me throughly the steps we will be taking in the process so I was always up to date. She has always kept my mind at ease by providing mental support as well as preparing the correct documents, submitting them, being in touch with my former husband’s attorney all in timely manner. while this is the most draining and difficult time for anyone going through a divorce, I knew I could ask her anything and I will be answered shortly after. With her extreme knowledge, she has helped me get a really decent share as far as support, alimony, asset division, children’s visitations, Property settlement etc and saved me from the hassle of going to trial. Danielle is great! I recently finalized my divorce which lasted about 1 year. From my first interaction with her, she was very attentive to my wishes and understanding of my hopes. She was direct with me when my ideals were not realistic yet patiently willing to work with me if I was still determined to stay a certain course. She listened to me when it was just she and I and fought for me when she interacted with opposing counsel. She’s articulate, sharp, knowledgeable, intuitive and most importantly, honest. Joseph DiPietro saved my relationship with my minor child who had been abducted by his second parent from Europe to the USA. Often times we cringe at the thought of having to hire an attorney. Greg was a breath of fresh air to deal with. He was compassionate but very professional. I originally came into contact with Mr. Rowlands when he represented the individual I was suing in General District court. (In other words, he was the opposing counsel). He litigated that case so well and effectively, that I followed up with him regarding a matter I needed assistance with regarding a Federal inmate I'm advocating for. He completed the most thorough and complete version of that particular document (a Power of Attorney,) I have ever seen. The third matter I consulted with him on was regarding a civil matter in General District court I had started on my own, but then needed to follow up on with counsel. For one thing, one generally wouldn't choose to secure the services of former opposing counsel, but due to his excellent work, I was so impressed with Mr. Rowlands as a whole, that I knew he was who I would want handling any legal matter I may ever have. He was a superb litigator (with a difficult client who he was working with under far less than ideal circumstances,) and we worked together to reach a settlement that was satisfactory and in the best interests of all parties. He is a great communicator and truly goes above and beyond to get the job done. Even more impressively, regarding the third matter, while he certainly gave me the resources and information I needed to handle the matter, he also advised me that in his opinion, while I have a case, the time and energy required for me to pursue it really wouldn't be worth it, in the long run. He also advised me of an entirely different option that I will be pursuing in the interest of justice. Mr. Rowlands has impeccable ethics and skill. He is very easy to work with (regardless of which side of the table you're on!) and I could note rate him any higher than I have. I will most definitely go back to Mr. Rowlands for any legal matter I may have in the future. If you need a good lawyer, regardless of how simple or complicated your case may be, he is the man for the job.

Unfortunately I had 2 incidents within a 6 month period that I needed a lawyer for but fortunately I had Ms. Corcoran! For the first incident, a felony hit and run she reduced it to a misdemeanor and I was able to keep my license in addition to just being such a calming energy in the midst of what felt like the worst storm ever. Recently, I received a misdemeanor marijuana charge and of course I called her and not only did she give me a break financially she took care of the case quickly and efficiently with the best possible outcome in my favor.

Over the course of the last 14 years I have used four different attorneys for the various issues that have arisen regarding custody of my child. Throughout my cases I was left wondering what my counsel was really doing. My attorneys were hard to get in touch with and I never really heard from them until a couple of days before the case went to court. I felt completely in the dark.
