I will start off with my personal experience of saying that I did not realize that long term disability companies were only in the business of rejecting claims with the hope that you ultimately give up.

Greg dell and his amazing associate vanessa came into my life in June 2019 when my LTD carrier unum decided abruptly to deny my disability claims and further disregarded my doctors objections in terminating coverage when I had substantial orthopedic and vascular issues. After my first denial which I did on my own, I asked friends of mine who were attorneys who should I use in a LTD case. Mr Jenkins took my insurance case on a contingency with a highly successful conclusion. My insurance company initially rejected my claim because they attributed the damage to wear and tear and not to any claim related cause. But they were no match for my Mr Jenkins and his highly talented staff. Mr Jenkins had his own experts make examinations and knew he had the law on his side and how to counter the insurance rejection. Ultimately we settled giving me more than enough to complete the repairs.

After our insurance company denied our claim for Hurricane Michael damage we learned about Phillip Warren and his staff. After hearing about our problem and how the insurance company had denied our claim he took the case and began on a course that ended in a very nice settlement close to the amount we had made a claim for. During the whole process Phillip and his staff stayed in contact with us and kept us abreast of what was going on. My case has been ongoing since 2010. I was finally granted a higher VA rating for my injuries in 2018 after years of appeals back and forth. Mr Smith is by far the BEST lawyer I have dealt with in every aspect of the way. I'm very thankful to have found Melissa. I was being sued by a family member and it was an absolutely gruesome experience. The lawyer I initially had was an incompetent buffoon. I had tremendous anxiety every time we spoke and would literally be sweating. That lawyer took up my time with long phone calls that did zero to help me and and she wasted my resources pretty badly by referring to me to her friend, a trust attorney, who I paid thousands to just to find out what an hour long google search could have turned up. Getting ripped off by attorneys is too common. It's a jungle out there.
Finding Melissa was the opposite experience from top to bottom. She was always available to talk but my own questions determined the length of the call so I never once felt she kept me on the phone unnecessarily while the meter ticked away. She was always to the point and told me what I needed to hear with the utmost respect without being scary. I always felt better after talking to her. She advised me to go to my own hearing which was amazing advice and that really paid off. The person suing me hid behind his lawyer and didn't attend. Melissa always listened to me and went above and beyond to help me.
