I received my first DUI this past November and thought i had ruined my life. I reached out to Jeff Gold shortly after and he assured me that it was not the end of the world. Jeff immediately got me to start working a program that would turn my life around, not just fight the DUI. I began attending AA meetings and working with therapists to try and change my relationship with alcohol. After three months of work and diligence i was able to get my sentence reduced! It’s an insane, long story that you probably only watch on a bad Lifetime movie. Let’s just say, Graham saved my life, knowing I was innocent, and protected me against injustice. I had never been arrested before and was referred to Graham by a former colleague. Trust me, and I swear on everyone and everything in my life (a tiny blasphemous), if you unfortunately need a lawyer, go to Graham. I highly recommend the offices of Mr. Donath. I went through a questionable situation in which a felony and a misdemeanor were brought against me. He and his team were able to reduce the felony AND misdemeanor down to a complete dismissal. The team is FANTASTIC at communication and will clear up any hesitancy you may have. I really waited a few months to write this review just to snap back to reality and actually think about what I wanted to write since becoming a client of this prestigious law firm. If there was a 10 star button I would select it in a blink of an eye. This law firm is nothing short of what it represents "Proper Defense"!!! I came to Sally when she was fresh on her own 6 years ago and man let me tell you that odds were against me and Sally always stayed profession and keep it real told me how it was and what needed to be done. Not once did Sally sugarcoat or attempt to deceive me most in society would. She is very professional and knows what she is talking about and Sally does not play around either. She comes off as a very understanding individual and actually cares about her clients and what truly happens it not about the money for Sally but the name that she stands on. Grateful to say that after a long time waiting Sally was able to successfully win my case and was excited to tell me the news that she woke me up out of my sleep on a Sunday!!! Kenneth Norelli was upfront and honest with me about my case. He kept me in the loop and didn't pull any punches with me. This is what I was looking for. I figured if the attorney I chose wasn't a sugar coater then that was who I wanted and that's what I got!! I would have never been able to close my case without this guy... Like I said he is the hardest working attorney in OC. What seemed would be impossible to achieve, he pursued and was able to clear EVERYTHING involved. I paid him $5000. Once he received the money he was MIA more often than not. His receptionist gave one excuse after another and would tell me that I had exceeded "talk time" provided by the retainer although my records indicated otherwise. On the few occasions that I was able to speak with him he claimed he had Covid or RSV. I later heard this was one of his standard excuses.

I'm incredibly glad and thankful that I chose Ann to be my lawyer. These are the reasons why she's a fantastic lawyer and why I highly recommend her:
1. I could tell she genuinely cares about her clients. She clearly presents everything you're legally facing, what you need to do on your end, and everything she plans to do on her end to win your case. When you need to contact her, she's a simple text or phone call away. When you have questions, she patiently and clearly explains everything to you.
2. She's professional and highly experienced. She's been there and done that. Consequently, she knows what she's doing and if your case is winnable, your chances of winning increase by hiring her as your lawyer.
3. She's very personable and nice. She has great relationships with many key contacts/prosecutors at the courthouses, meaning that it's highly probable that they're more willing to work with her to get your charges reduced/dismissed.
4. When she made one small mistake when communicating to me about my next monthly payment, she ended up reducing that month's fee by a few hundred dollars out of her professional courtesy. She didn't have to do that.
5. Finally, she got my charge reduced despite all the evidence against me. I plan to get the leftover charge on my record expunged once a year hits and hire her again to handle that.
All in all, I'm thankful to God for Ann - she did an absolutely incredible job getting my charge reduced. She was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend that you hire Ann Gottesman as your lawyer. You won't regret it!

I would give a 0 if possible, this is the worst law firm ever they will tell you anything you want to hear until you put the retainer , I was ignored until pay day by supervisors, attorneys, case managers, then the first 2 court dates had to be postponed because my attorney didn’t come they sent a fill in with his own law firm that didn’t know anything about my case so I had to get a extra court date months later when the date came my attorney shows up didn’t know me or anything about the case asked if I wanted another delay , remind a month I was told to pause payment because of lack of communication so the day of my court the lawyer said he didn’t know me but was told he can’t go inside because I owe a payment lol I already had paid over 2500 dollars & that was literally my first time speaking to him , I was ignored the whole time except when paying was due worst place ever & they still are trying to charge me more money

I was violently beaten while holding my child and left covered in bruises from head to toe in San Mateo county at 71 larkspur Ave in Daly City CA in 2015. All,
I unequivocally recommend Cate Beekman as your next attorney. Specifically, if you need 5-star representation, go with Ms. Beekman post haste.
Why? Ms. Beekman is highly effective, brilliant, thoughtful, creative and most of all; she accomplishes the goal of zealous advocacy without insult, injury or raising her voice. She communicates as well to her client (me), as she does to judges. Furthermore, her working knowledge of legal standards and your issues – even if based on first impression - is first-class.
When? If you have a current attorney (fire them, I mean that with all sincerity), retain her and thank me later. Not all attorneys are created equally. If you are looking for an attorney, bring her on board immediately. I witnessed first hand, her ability to digest voluminous information – distill what was relevant and irrelevant and make cogent arguments. That goes double in a small area such as Napa, CA where the paucity of effective counsel leaves much to be desired. You have a diamond in the rough in Ms. Beekman.
She does not use superfluous words or enter anything into evidence to make the case for opposing counsel. She understands the burden of proof and uses it effectively and surgically.
Background? For context (what is it worth), I never write reviews. Everyone’s situation is different. I also put little opinion in the faith of others. However, Ms. Beekman’s representation was so beyond perfection, that I believe I owe it to everyone reading this, that you hire her immediately. What’s more, if it matters, I am an attorney myself, so I believe I know what good and bad lawyering looks like (or should like).
Ms. Beekman represented me in a matter (that in my opinion had no merit). She took the matter to its logical conclusion and prepared me and represented my interest before the tribunal very well.
First, her legal acumen is without peer. Opposing counsel, while over-matched, was a worthy adversary. Nevertheless, she objected when necessary. She also did not do anything to showboat or appease me for the sake of “getting even”. Additionally she made well-reasoned, articulated and ultimately effective arguments on my behalf.
Second, her demeanor is even keel. Her temperament is the same. She knows how to calm you down, while also laying the crumbs for the trier of fact to find in your favor.
To conclude, her sunny disposition is just who she is; a good-hearted person. However, do not let that disarm you, she is legally lethal when necessary. That said, if you need to win and “bet the case” (your tenuous position) – Ms. Beekman is who you should go with immediately.

Evan Zelig is the best criminal law attorney in Sonoma county. I had someone wrongfully accused of DV, and we called Evan immediately. He educated us on the law and the likely outcome. The charges were dropped in the interim but Evan still supported us as a courtesy on the hearing date to drop the charges and emailed back later to answer more questions I had. He's very responsive and I like that he helped me understand how the laws work for criminal cases so I could understand what was going on. He has reasonable prices (even though I didn't need to hire him) and a great attitude. Don't look elsewhere if you find yourself or a loved one charged with a criminal charge.
