It’s an insane, long story that you probably only watch on a bad Lifetime movie. Let’s just say, Graham saved my life, knowing I was innocent, and protected me against injustice. I had never been arrested before and was referred to Graham by a former colleague. I highly recommend the offices of Mr. Donath. I went through a questionable situation in which a felony and a misdemeanor were brought against me. He and his team were able to reduce the felony AND misdemeanor down to a complete dismissal. The team is FANTASTIC at communication and will clear up any hesitancy you may have. I really waited a few months to write this review just to snap back to reality and actually think about what I wanted to write since becoming a client of this prestigious law firm. If there was a 10 star button I would select it in a blink of an eye. This law firm is nothing short of what it represents "Proper Defense"!!! I came to Sally when she was fresh on her own 6 years ago and man let me tell you that odds were against me and Sally always stayed profession and keep it real told me how it was and what needed to be done. Not once did Sally sugarcoat or attempt to deceive me most in society would. She is very professional and knows what she is talking about and Sally does not play around either. She comes off as a very understanding individual and actually cares about her clients and what truly happens it not about the money for Sally but the name that she stands on. Grateful to say that after a long time waiting Sally was able to successfully win my case and was excited to tell me the news that she woke me up out of my sleep on a Sunday!!! Kenneth Norelli was upfront and honest with me about my case. He kept me in the loop and didn't pull any punches with me. This is what I was looking for. I figured if the attorney I chose wasn't a sugar coater then that was who I wanted and that's what I got!! I would have never been able to close my case without this guy... Sanaz has a good team and thorough system to ensure your bankruptcy gets finalized.
I am self employed, my case was more in depth.
I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
Sanaz and her team tolerated all my calls and emails = STRESS and got me through it.
Sanaz and her team are the ones you want to represent you!!! Worth every dollar!!!

I paid him $5000. Once he received the money he was MIA more often than not. His receptionist gave one excuse after another and would tell me that I had exceeded "talk time" provided by the retainer although my records indicated otherwise. On the few occasions that I was able to speak with him he claimed he had Covid or RSV. I later heard this was one of his standard excuses.

I was violently beaten while holding my child and left covered in bruises from head to toe in San Mateo county at 71 larkspur Ave in Daly City CA in 2015. All,
I unequivocally recommend Cate Beekman as your next attorney. Specifically, if you need 5-star representation, go with Ms. Beekman post haste.
Why? Ms. Beekman is highly effective, brilliant, thoughtful, creative and most of all; she accomplishes the goal of zealous advocacy without insult, injury or raising her voice. She communicates as well to her client (me), as she does to judges. Furthermore, her working knowledge of legal standards and your issues – even if based on first impression - is first-class.
When? If you have a current attorney (fire them, I mean that with all sincerity), retain her and thank me later. Not all attorneys are created equally. If you are looking for an attorney, bring her on board immediately. I witnessed first hand, her ability to digest voluminous information – distill what was relevant and irrelevant and make cogent arguments. That goes double in a small area such as Napa, CA where the paucity of effective counsel leaves much to be desired. You have a diamond in the rough in Ms. Beekman.
She does not use superfluous words or enter anything into evidence to make the case for opposing counsel. She understands the burden of proof and uses it effectively and surgically.
Background? For context (what is it worth), I never write reviews. Everyone’s situation is different. I also put little opinion in the faith of others. However, Ms. Beekman’s representation was so beyond perfection, that I believe I owe it to everyone reading this, that you hire her immediately. What’s more, if it matters, I am an attorney myself, so I believe I know what good and bad lawyering looks like (or should like).
Ms. Beekman represented me in a matter (that in my opinion had no merit). She took the matter to its logical conclusion and prepared me and represented my interest before the tribunal very well.
First, her legal acumen is without peer. Opposing counsel, while over-matched, was a worthy adversary. Nevertheless, she objected when necessary. She also did not do anything to showboat or appease me for the sake of “getting even”. Additionally she made well-reasoned, articulated and ultimately effective arguments on my behalf.
Second, her demeanor is even keel. Her temperament is the same. She knows how to calm you down, while also laying the crumbs for the trier of fact to find in your favor.
To conclude, her sunny disposition is just who she is; a good-hearted person. However, do not let that disarm you, she is legally lethal when necessary. That said, if you need to win and “bet the case” (your tenuous position) – Ms. Beekman is who you should go with immediately.

Evan Zelig is the best criminal law attorney in Sonoma county. I had someone wrongfully accused of DV, and we called Evan immediately. He educated us on the law and the likely outcome. The charges were dropped in the interim but Evan still supported us as a courtesy on the hearing date to drop the charges and emailed back later to answer more questions I had. He's very responsive and I like that he helped me understand how the laws work for criminal cases so I could understand what was going on. He has reasonable prices (even though I didn't need to hire him) and a great attitude. Don't look elsewhere if you find yourself or a loved one charged with a criminal charge.
