Lorraine has been very attentive and always keeping my family as a priority through out my case. I really appreciated the feedback from Mr. Morales, he was patient, thoughtful, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. I speak from experience and I would have to say I was hesitant at first since this was the first time our family has dealt with this kind of situation. I came across him through an Attorney referral and lo and behold, I felt like God has answered our prayers. My son was taken from his mother by DCFS I didn’t know this happened until 4 and half month after he was placed in a strangers house ! And this was the second DCFS case the first one I was the victim that didn’t press charges or show up to the case because my logic was I was the victim in that case so how do I need to show up ? Well I was very wrong and my rights to my son were limited to 1 supervised visit per year! So for 4 years I was basically paying her to see my kid and I was paying large sums of money to do so. When I showed up to court, the court provided me with so free but terrible lawyer I left court and was reaching out to her and her office with no response calling 4-5 times a day for over a week and that wasn’t gonna work! So I literally meet or had phone conversations with every attorney that deals with these type of cases and I only had a good feeling about Matt so I retained him he promised to get me full custody of my son and we came up with a solid game plan and instructed me every step of the way he was also was my therapist and a very patient friend because I too was in the system when I was a child so I was very hard to witness my child going through the same traumatic situation , Long story short Sole physical custody and the mom only gets a 4 hour visit per month this was my dream and it’s a reality now !!!

I got a traffic ticket for a Jaywalking violation (driving through an intersection when there was a pedestrian). Anyway, I had a single consultation with Katherine, and she was able to help me write a letter for my trial by written declaration. Because of the way she worded things and her helpful insight on what supporting documentation I should submit, I ended getting the case dismissed! The fee was absolutely worth not having to pay the ticket or get the point on my license (which comes with an insurance price hike).
I would highly recommend Katherine to anyone who needs a good, through, and detailed oriented attorney.

If you find yourself in need of an outstanding criminal defense attorney, look no further than Leah. I chose the one with all 5 star reviews with an office located across the street from the Van Nuys court house. I figured she might know people there which could be a good thing. When I called her with my issue, she was out of the office as her daughter was having a baby. I left a message (crying hysterically) on the voice mail. She called back within 10 minutes and kept me on the phone until I could get set up with immediate face to face help (with her partner in the office). I could literally hear a baby crying in the background. Maybe she was in the delivery room? So the baby and I were BOTH crying--me from the mess I got myself into, and the baby for more obvious reasons. I went in that same afternoon to speak with her legal partner, Mr. Melnick, and they immediately began to work on my case to ease my nerves. They are very good with anything psych related. She went to court--over and over again, without settling for anything less than a dismissal with some community service. This was no easy task as it was a very delicate, difficult, embarrassing, case which had to be presented with kid gloves. This lady knows how to seamlessly deal with the client, DA, and judge while developing rapport in a most sublime way. It would have been in her favor $ and time wise to settle (sooner) as she does not get paid extra money when this is drawn out as it was--but no, she really does care about the client, and drawing this out eventually helped to get this dismissed. I sweat bullets for months and I know it was not easy for her, either, but she is too kind to admit it. She is calm and cool, always maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. When I thanked her, she said, "No need, I love doing this sort of thing". The fact that she apparently has lots of children probably works in her favor (as well as the clients) since she understands all the complexities that one can have and how a mostly good person can get into a legal snafoo. She is anything but judgy. Lastly, Leah actually saved my life. I was ready to jump off the cliff at Universal Studios (although I would never admit to such a thing) because I literally saw no way out when I called her. How she knew this, I don't know. Why she would stay on the phone with me when she was on leave for the birth of her granddaughter is beyond me as well. That said, if you find yourself in a desperate situation, give this lady a call. She may even save your life as she did mine:)

Words cannot express the gratitude, the heartfelt obligation she provided for me during my fight for justice. She is the best.
I was wrongly accused of a violation of the law that I did not commit.
I was extremely emotional, I dealt with anxiety and panic attacks. She did not judge me, she comforted although I was having emotional breakdowns. I was able to rely on her judgements, her sincerity and her efforts to fight.

I made some very stupid mistakes with my friends a couple of years ago, and ended up getting a court letter in the mail about a year later stating that I was being charged with 3 misdemeanors. This was my first time ever being involved with the law, as I had never received even a parking ticket prior to this incident. I felt completely overwhelmed and anxious for days, and even had trouble sleeping. I searched around for different lawyers in my area, and immediately felt comfortable with Dyke and his assistant Kym. He was extremely understanding of my situation, yet very straightforward and clear with his approach to tackle the whole ordeal. He helped to put my mind at ease with the court case and was very professional, yet friendly, at the same time. He handled everything for me and represented in me court. Dyke was able to get my charges dismissed through some volunteer work and restitution fees. Dyke is a legend as far as I am concerned. He has gotten me out of big time trouble using his knowledge of the law. While he has a small firm just him and his secretary I have witnessed the magic that he can do in a court room. He is straight to the point when it comes to your case and is passionate about each and everyone of his clients. While he's been my attorney for multiple cases he has never let me down even when the odds where severely stacked against me. Not to mention he is willing to work with you on his cost, while he isn't cheap he is extremely fair. This is long overdue. I am a former Marine, got into some stupid trouble (first time in my life). Dyke was a great advocate and adviser. He didn't sugar coat anything but he remained buoyant and positive.
Despite fact that I ended up pleading out and going to prison I know Dyke did everything in his power to help me. All is good now and it's a lesson learned.

Kevin Gordon is the most incompetent attorney. He did not answer my calls or emails. He did not pay attention to details in forms when filing with the city and documents were returned, then he did not follow through, but tell me that he was busy with something else. Even the opposing party threatened him with reporting him to the bar. He drafted a settlement that did not protect me as his client. At the end, he just told me to get another attorney. Wow. It is unfortunate that his practicing.

Very unhappy with the outcome of my case. It was handled unprofessionally. And l fought with the attorney the whole way. I had to file with the BAR twice. I hired Legacy and was told will take it to trial. During mediation l was told to settle today or l could lose everything, because they were not going to represent me in court. Then the attorney settled the case against my will. I was forced to settle for considerably less than the original trust stated.

I called the office of Brian Vogel to ask a few questions on how to apply for a restricted license. I have not been convicted of the DUI in the court but the dmv has suspended my license for four months. Brian was not in his office at the time of my call. His assistant Liisa took 20 minutes out of her busy day to answer all my questions and help clarify everything. Brian Vogel is not my lawyer, but his assistant Liisa treated me like one of their own. My son unfortunately ran into a double felony case with inhancements. After talking to many lawyers about his case I was referred to Kevin from another Law firm. Michael Phillips was a savior in my DUI case. I would not have received the right judgments without him. He went through my case throughly and knew that I was treated unfairly. He went above and beyond all expectations. I won my DMV Court Hearing, which saved me from losing my license. To be honest if I lost the DMV court hearing I would of lost my job and my long distance relationship with my now husband would of suffered. He lived in San Diego and I lived in Huntington Beach, so driving to see each other was important. My court case was then dropped from a DUI to a Wet In Reckless.

Hooman Kazemi is both brilliant and extremely skilled. In my case, he was able to change the charge against me from one that was unfair, to one that was factually correct and fair. He also negotiated a very fair and considerate resolution with the Prosecutor. Without his skill and thorough knowledge, I am certain that I would have been illogically and unfairly punished for a very simple and unintentional oversight.
