Got into a bicycle vs car mishap resulting in a few nights in the ICU thus hospital bills mounted in the low 6 figures. Shopping around for legal counsel led me to attorney and fellow cyclist Richard Duquette who was highly recommended in the local cycling community. I called the law offices this afternoon and left a message requesting advice about a family member’s DUI from 20 years ago. Not only did Richard call me back himself within 15 minutes, but he gave me free legal advice with a path forward since the event happened out of state. He practices in CA not NYS. He was extremely knowledgeable, assessed the situation quickly, and gave sound advice. I would give Mr. Brown 10 stars if I could! Mr. Brown not only took my call on a Saturday, But he was very helpful with his information and made sure to explain anything that I did not understand. I feel a little better knowing the information I know now because of him. It’s hard to find an attorney that will answer over the weekend and not just brush you off or not even answer. It has been several years now since our adoption went through, but our memories of working with Elise are still as strong as ever. She worked tirelessly on our case, which was a complicated one. I understand that Mr. Alford is fairly new to the law trade and one may think twice for that reason. I looked beyond the Humphrys law degree and years of experience when I checked his bio and decided to give him a chance to impress me. He did. I needed advice regarding a foreclosure action and he proved more than competent. He knew what he was talking about, his advice was sound and he saved me a lot of grief. I was arrested on a felony charge under a highly questionable legal basis. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, but the prosecution continued. Ms. Slone moved to have charges dropped for illegal search and seizure, but the judge refused. Ms. Slone filed an appeal, and the appellate court ruled in our favor. In an unusual circumstance, the three judge panel ruled unanimously. Ms. Slone is professional, yet friendly, and she sure got the job done for me. Highly recommended.

I was fighting a misdemeanor charge that I was not going to plea guilty to. I was ready to take it all the way to trial if need be. I'm also disabled and in a wheelchair. Charles was very helpful with my physical condition. I never had to go to court once he was hired. He was very professional and keeped me posted on every aspect of my case. Jody was assigned to me as my public defender when I had to deal with a drug charge a few years back. I was basically ready to simply plead guilty and pay the fine/attend the classes/do whatever I needed to do to move on with life. After hearing the details of the case, Jody recommended I plead not guilty. I did so and the case was put on hold for a few months. On the next court date I was astounded at the amount of preparation he put into making all of the points to make the case. I don’t want to butcher the legal lingo, but I really really really appreciated what he did for me and the outcome HE created. I think about Jody on a regular basis and figured I’d look him up and was surprised he didn’t have any reviews yet…figured I needed to be the first! I had an issue with the Orange County Social Services at the courthouse here in Orange County. I was given a public defender from the public defender's office who did absolutely zero for my defense however managed to string me along and not do anything for me but for the prosecution did everything for them. I did not want to say anything more that will affect my case however let me tell you this if you think you're going to get anywhere with a public defender you are absolutely lying yourself. The child services people including the courts public defenders children's attorney State appointed attorneys Social Services and the judge all work together to keep you in check until you either screw up or until you find an attorney that can make things happen more quickly than normal.
Martin has done wonders for me for my defense and hopefully for the immediate return of my newborn. Martin has more experience then all the lawyers including the judge in regards to my case and probably others. He knows the law he knows what is needed on both ends of the legal sides. His experience speaks for itself however he's done a great job so far on my case and we're fortunate enough to have him help us through this difficult time. Very nice guy to the point and very professional. The best part of it all is that we have a very confident competent attorney in the middle of this ridiculous legal mess that we are in.

Ms. Saban is my grandaughter's attorney at juvenile court. Our family has faced many difficult situations over the past couple of years. It's hard finding the words to explain to my granddaughter why our family is in this mess, and when it's all going to get better. Ms. Saban is a rather young attorney, but she's very good and has a way with my grandaughter. She seems to have a lot of compassion and cares a lot about the case.
