When Isabel first took our case it didn't look very promising. Our mother lost her job and insurance benefits in the summer of 2016 and she passed the following winter. She did not successfully transfer her life insurance to a separate policy so we didn't expect to receive anything. Isabel fought with the insurance companys to get our family the life insurance, and she went above and beyond when it came to making sure all our affairs were in order. She communicated to us every step of the way, and even if we didn't get the payout I would still highly recommend Isabel and her firm to anyone needing legal assistance.

Nat is a sharp, diligent and DEDICATED attorney. He gave me a very quick history on precedents of my legal issue, gave me some options, made recommendations and came up with a plan.
He was instrumental in not only resolving a frustrating experience with my HOA.....but also set the scenario up so that if they *didn't* acquiesce, then we would be in a particularly advantageous position, legally speaking.
Fortunately, that never had to play out, but he was ready to be there.
If you want a lawyer who will listen, take your side, tell you your options and potential/likely outcomes, and is thinking multiple steps ahead of your adversary, and it willing to be generous and judicious with your/his time....then, hire him.

My wife and I had done quite a bit of research as to the ins and outs of the laws pertaining to an employment contract. As a result, the further we researched, the more questions we had, so we finally decided we needed professional input.

Mr. Molique helped us after we received a letter from a government agency saying we owed them thousands of dollars. Mr. Molique prepared a letter on our behalf. He referenced many legal precedents and really explained to the agency why it was wrong. It was so firm and confident that our position was right and theirs wrong. We knew we could never have responded as effectively on our own. Mr. Molique also explained the situation to us in laymen’s terms so we understood our position and the government’s position and the risks of the course of action of not just paying what the government had demanded. After that one letter, the agency responded that they would not attempt to collect the money from us. We were very happy with the result, to say the least. I would highly recommend Mr. Molique.

I was the defendant in a real estate transaction where I was representing a Buyer as her Realtor. Three years after the cancellation of the transaction, I was sue'd personally for $2M for "interfering in the contract". Unfortunately, both of the Plaintiff's were Attorney's, so they could relentlessly persue me, at almost no cost to themselves. Given this situation, I was extremely lucky to have Patrick as my "hired gun". At every turn, Patrick was able to thwart their attacks. Before my 12 hour deposition, Patrick and I met and he prepped me so that I was prepared and confident for all of the leading questions that would come my way. While all this was going on, Patrick worked behind the scene's to get the case thrown out of court, and was ultimately successful in having my part dismissed! In my experience, it has been very tedious and daunting to begin a conversation with an attorney, especially one at a law firm with other partners, etc. That is, usually law firms won't lend an ear, it seems, unless you pay $100-300 initial consulting fee, which is basically a $15 overview of your case and whether they think it's worthwhile$$$.
However, not only was I surprised to see Attorney Rhatz offer a no-cost consultation, but he also kept it "real." He advised me with information that even seemed to work against his assumed interest in profit (i.e., he didn't try to exploit me for money), such as by providing me with self-help research suggestions, and even helped me put together an outline for my case.
He didn't want me to lose more money winning with him (he didn't want me to spend so much money to retain him, that even if winning the case, I'd still be at a net negative dollar-loss).
He gave me his undivided attention, asked questions that showed he actually paid attention, and was very resourceful with directing me towards credible sources of jurisprudence.
What's more, is that he didn't throw me out after 15 minutes, but rather stayed with me until he felt I was sufficiently informed with the material and answers to questions to send me along my way.
This man even read through all my notes and connected with me as a person.
I also appreciated his aggressive, but civil, nature towards vanquishing the countering party. He is strategic, he is prepared to preempt the countering party's legal arguments by first calling them out himself, and sparks reassurance that he is sedulously and astutely on the case.
Obviously, I would recommend attorney R Andrew Rahtz for the aforementioned reasons, despite only meeting with him one time on an preliminary consultation.

Gary is an amazing attorney. He was actually referred to my family from a different attorney who does the same work. In April of 2024, my family moved to Arizona after my son was diagnosed with autism. In July of 2024, my at-the-time wife kidnapped both of my children in broad daylight and fled the state, where she then used the incredible resources & connections of her family to file a divorce suit accusing me ofevery hot button issue one could think of. Despite enduring physical, emotional and verbal abuse for several years, I was the one being accused, and my children were now thousands of miles away.
In desperation, I reached out to a family law attorney who, after listening to a short summary of events, told me "there's nothing you can do. You should save your resources and use them to move or travel." Despite all the proof I offered, I could tell that she was thinking exactly what I feared most would think - that as the man being accused of everything from emotional abuse to physical violence, I would be deemed guilty from the start.
My next meeting was with Robyn, and it has forever changed my life. Within minutes, Robyn was quoting case law, statues, and was possibly more angry at the children's mother than I was. We were going to fight, and we were going to win, she said. I asked her how she knew.
"Because I believe you, Daniel, and we're going to make sure the truth has it's day. I wouldn't tell you we could win if I wasn't sure."
Ninety days after that consultation, after winning 3 of 3 hearings in 2 states, the State of Arizona ordered that the children be returned home. Robyn & her incredible paralegal Mandy called me with the news, and we laughed and cried on the phone together.
There's still a long way to go, but thanks to Robyn, my son will have the incredible resources that Arizona provides to thrive with his disability. I will get to see my daughter grow up. She has taken so many calls, answered so many emails, worked with me through incredibly tough financial situations, and has fully and deeply invested herself in my cause and case.

I am the owner of a large business so hiring lawyers is something I have had to do as part of the job many times. Here is why I give Melanie 5 stars:
*She was referred by an attorney that knew her by being her opposition in a hotly contested case and he had a lot of great things to say (and I trust him, completely, as he is my friend)
*She screened me as the client and not the other way around, although she encourged hat. She won't take the client hat can pay her but only the client that has a real case she is willing to sign her name on. She is not free, don't get me wrong, but she's more than fair in her rates.
*She is up front about costs and risks - it's the firs thing she explains. Unlike almost everyone else, there was never "I'm getting you paid" or someing equally ridiculous. It was "I can't gaurantee anything in this business, no matter how correct you are legally or facually" - what? Honesty?
*She is aggressive as can be, but professional - I am not embarassed by an over-the-top crazy person, but I am proud of the fact that she is no taking anyone's crap
*She is not afraid to sue and will do what she says she will in her leters to the other lawyer (it really is not a threat - it is what is coming if there is not a resolution)
*She litigates cases as fast as possible, doesn't take BS from anyone, and remains ethical no mater what - she tells her cliens (me, at least and she said everyone - I of course believe her) that she will not ever pursue a case to the point of crossing lines she is not 100% proud of, as in, no loss of integrity and unethical activity is not up for discussion
*Dirty lawyers make her sick - she will fight them and be mad with you! She is genuinely PO'd when she calls to tell you what was filed for no reason or bad reasons like billing the file
*She is in favor of the fastest resolution - she encouraged setlement at every step and encouraged me when appropriate - she is not in it to bill the file and does not bill in the shower
*Nobody working with her is any different - her partner is her husband and they are high school sweethearts. Silly as it sounds, they are as good as it gets by way of "good people' and they have an adorable family you will get to know if you hang around long enough or simple talk with her or her husband, Justin
*Remeber the saying "good things come in small packages" - small firm, small lady (she's not exactly the tallest one in the room, lol), but not at all small work - impressive is an understatement!
*She knows the HOA community well - the regulars know her and her firm, and they don't want to mess with her unless they think they can win - insurance defense is anoher story, as that means the atorney can bill and bill and bill until someone in the big insurance company finally notices and then like magic it's time to setle! Melanie predicted this like a psychic, although she's not- she's just been there many, many times.
*Ingelligence. I don't mean run of the mill smart but really, really sharp!
*Ethical yet aggressive as I could have hoped for. IF you don't think this firm is strong enough for you, then you want the dirty attorney and not the one that acts professionally and follows ethical rules all attorneys are supposed to follow
*Economical. NO billing in the shower or anywhere near it! Fair billing at fair rates. You do get what you pay for, but you actually get a bit more here. If you go to the lower rate lawyer, you will likely have an ambulance chaser type of person.
