Ms. Stoddard represented me in a complicated car accident case. The person that hit me was elderly and information was lacking. Ute "Ooota" Ferdig steadfastly guided me to settlement regarding an ongoing, contentious, 2 plus year hard feelings battle over a sizable real and personal property liquidation effort between myself & only surviving sibling sister.
The dispute topics were Ca inheritance rules, Ca probate law, Ca Living Will terminology, personal property division, real property division and each parties exact liquidation rights.

David Macpherson is the MOST honest and competent attorney I've ever met (and I've met and worked with several in the past three years due to a civil case I've been dealing with).
After calling, interviewing and working with several attorneys for the last 3 years, you finally realize when you have a hard working, solution oriented and extremely experienced person in front of you. David is all of that and more.
He is professional and transparent. His fees are reasonable and worth it. You start to feel like you're finally in good hands.
David won't screw you and add other attorneys from his payroll to do "research". He won't blindside you with a random bill. He's upfront and tries hard to really keep the costs down. He makes you feel comfortable and confident ...and reduces your stress and anxiety from the case.
No other attorney I hired found solutions quickly and efficiently as well as David did. Others gave me the run around for years doing busy work. They would miss motion for summary judgment deadlines and were careless in their paperwork.
David was on top of everything and I am so grateful that there are people like him in this world. I got so LUCKY when I found him and he actually called me back and decided to work with me. Mr. Mankin aided us during a square footage dispute several years ago. We bought a business and the square footage was not as much as advertised. Even though we had removed our "due diligence" contingencies in the contract and were on the hook for $25,000 in liquidated damages, Mr. Mankin was able to back us up and resolve the dispute favorable. Walt helped my husband and I establish a living trust and wills for both of us. He is very knowledgeable; offering suggestions and situations for our consideration so that we had a comprehensive final product. He ensured that we understood the all aspects of the documents. He even called us on a Friday evening to answer our last minute questions so that everything was ready to be signed when we went to his office the following week. My mom was in assisted living, and needed to have a new Power of Attorney and Advanced Healthcare Directive. The existing ones were over 10 years old, and given her dementia, I had to legally be able to handle my mom's affairs. I initially had trouble finding an attorney who would do this, but after Lorraine and I met through LinkedIn, she agreed to do the Power of Attorney and Advanced Healthcare Directive. She did both the long and short form Powers of Attorney, to make sure my mom and I would be well covered for any situation. Her fee was extremely reasonable, considering the time she spent preparing all of the documents, and the travel time for the round trip to and from the assisted living facility, which was 60 miles each way. Lorraine treated my mom like her own mother during the time spent signing the documents at the assisted living facility. Her patience and kindness towards my mom was heart warming to say the least. I had occasions where either the long or short form Power of Attorney had to be submitted to the insurance company or to the bank on my mom's behalf, and there were never any issues. Lorraine was fantastic in every way, and I very highly recommend her to anyone.

Don't usually post reviews, but George is an exception. I had a mostly amicable divorce situation, and wanted to keep legal costs down by filing my own paperwork. I had an initial consultation with George where he listened to my story and headed me in the right legal/paperwork direction. I did most of my own filings, but the final paperwork is quite mysterious and tricky. Not wanting to drag things out by filing something incorrectly, I again scheduled time with George to help make sure I had the correct forms and had them filled out correctly.....I did not. With about 35 minutes of his time - and he only charged me for this amount of time, not an entire hour as some lawyers do - I had everything ready for final filing.
I definitely recommend George to help you handle your divorce - no matter how you end up dealing with things. He is very calming, understanding, honest, and extremely helpful.....and a very nice man!

Tracie handled my divorce and custody issues. She is very knowledgeable and professional in the courtroom, being very prepared for any direction the situation might go. Phil Marr provided me with excellent help and advice during what was a very difficult divorce case. Unlike other attorneys nearby, I felt that Phil truly cared about my situation and helped me understand the complexities of my case. I had very bad and crazy divorce experience and it took almost 4 years, because my ex was totally brain washed by new boyfriend and this boyfriend is connected to crafty and greedy attorney in manhattan beach RR. this attorney RR is even famous in court room as bad and insistent lawyer. so i was recommended one of top lawyer FS in Bevery Hills at beginning but my attorney FS was so expensive and he didn't care about my case because compare to his other clients I am poor and my marriage was only 2 years.. not big deal case.
but since we were fighting with RR he drug everything unbelievably slow and judge was keep rolling eyes.., after year and half we had nothing done but attorneys fee was already $150,000. then i couldn't keep this Bevery Hills attorney FS who doesn't care about my case and enjoying spending unnecessary time with my ex's attorney RR.
after i let FS go i hire other attorney CC, she was nice about she offered me payment option but she said she came from criminal fields and i guess she didn't have much experience in family law and she was not strong enough to stop RR. so ends up it took another 2years with this attorney CC and i got few bad judgements and even payment option i spent crazy amount of money..
but finally i met William Glavin thru my friend in manhattan beach and william stopped crazy and greedy RR's attack and very honest charge. i went thru divorce and used 3-4 attorneys and interviewed many attorneys. but i have to say 90% of family attorneys are money hungry and don't care about me. but finally I found this this guy William and his associate Adam!
they are strong but honest get into the point and save your money and i can trust 100%!!

Through my tough divorce for 3.5 years, I had three lawyers. If I did not have other two, I would not have been so appreciative of Richard Rabbin.
Richard is very professional, knowledgable, efficient, and honest. In general, I do not trust any lawyers, but working with Richard for over two years, I trust Richard very much. He fights right to the points and understands so well what I really want. he also gets the job done quickly, and charge reasonably. The first two lawyers I had charged a lot of money but got little done. but with Richard, it costs very effectively. I would highly recommend Richard if you are going through a divorce.

We hired Ms. Stratton to assist us with a contractor we hired to remodel our home. They tried to serve us a bill nearly 50% more than our original bid. This is not an unusual practice when it comes to home building, but these guys were hiding costs and doubling time and supplies unnecessarily. We were unable to see how they were coming to the amount of the final bill. Ms. Stratton took our case and reviewed all the documentation of the remodel, such as change orders, how they were provided, how they calculated their hours and supervision and, through her expertise, brought transparency and clarity to our case. She ended up uncovering change orders that were not written correctly or given to us in a timely fashion per the law. She also discovered that we were being billed at a 300% mark up over our original contract vs. doubling the cost and time as how the billing should have been done. We wouldn't have been able to successfully dispute these charges without her expertise in the laws of business. She maintained professionalism and respect for all sides during our dispute. We were very impressed by her and would highly recommend her.

From my first meeting with Michele I felt that she had my best interest at heart. She is obviously a consummate professional with scrupulous attention to detail. She formulated a plan for us to move forward with and was honest with me as to what to expect. Through this whole process she earned my trust and respect. I wish I would have retained her originally.
Katina was wonderful. She kept me informed as to the progress of my case. She is not only a knowledgeable professional, but a kind and patient person. Her support helped me get through more than a few frustrating times.
The whole office worked as a team. There are two more attorneys and plenty of staff at this office. When Michele was not available there was another attorney there to handle issues. Elizabeth Brown was very warm and personable. I was glad this group was on my side.
Divorce can be a terrible stressful experience. It can be compounded by a lack of timely response. I did not feel the delays in this case had anything to do with this team. I found her at all times to put the needs of my child, and myself above her own interests - she tried to save me money wherever possible, and delegated lighter tasks to her associates to keep the fees lower. She does not blow smoke - she is a realist and will tell you her honest assessment- good, bad or ugly. I always felt well informed of my options and in control of the process.
I quickly found out that there are a couple different ways that attorneys operate in family law. Some use "shady" tricks or try to skirt the law. This is not the way Lesa and her team operates. You can be assured that they will represent you with integrity and do things the right way. I do believe that the sharp difference in approach by my attorney and that of opposing counsel was a helpful factor throughout the proceedings.
It's so hard to really know what you are getting with an attorney before you are really in the thick of it, so I am so grateful to have been referred to Lesa.
