You will win! But, you must let Jason tell you what to do. If you let him...you will win. If you don’t listen to Jay…well then you'll lose. In my opinion, all winners feel like losers and all losers feel like winners with this slick city lawyer! He just came to the one horse town of Fredonia! I lived there once or twice. Quaint little town in the daytime and loud attractions at night; make this town unforgettable. Downtown that is…not in the politically small neighborhoods where formed alliances are planning their revenge.
A regular Hatfield’s and McCoy’s kind of neighborhood at times. My home town is less than a mile from Fredonia~ they’re connected. On another note: Do yourself the favor...and don't get all chit chatty with him ( that behavior takes his focus off of your case and his wife gets jealous. Unfortunately, with the wrong women. Wait to bond with him and his family until after he wins your case. That way, he can focus on the issue at hand.
Thirdly, If you don't want to do what he says...then things in court may not turn out in your favor. Think about it…He is an attorney with good credentials…trust him or dump him quick and replace him with someone outside of this area or there is going to be a conflict of interest that the court will allow. This is a hard court ( to say the least) and they allow a lot! Then, they will talk about your rights! Lmao

I am the president of a 397 unit condominium in Kew Garden Hills. The Board has worked with Andrew Troia of Cullen & Troia since the winter of 2008 primarily to resolve over $300,000 in overdue common charges that accumulated over the years because of poor property management (i.e., mismanagement) practices.
Since that time, the Board has successfully resolved and collected almost $200,000 in common charge arrears. Our current collection loss rate is 7.9% which is well below the industry average of 10.0% We have turned over a culture that was previously pervasive within the condominium community.
At one time it appears that some unit owners felt that holding back on their monthly maintenance fees made good economic sense. Prior members of the board would negotiate one-on-one with those delinquent owners and settle for 75 cents on the dollar or 60 cents on the dollar or 55 cents on the dollar. The common sentiment was simply: "Why be a sucker?" The longer you waited in settling your arrears, but better of a deal you could negotiate. Andrew Troia of Cullen & Troia firmly opposed that practice with stringent legal penalties and put that practice to rest.
My personal experience with Andrew Troia is that he is an astute and erudite attorney. He has a powerful grasp on the law, especially in that field that involves co-operative and condominium housing laws. He speaks articulately, but in terms that I, as a layman, can readily understand. His answers are concise and to-the-point. And exactly what I need.
Andrew Troia is also a gentleman of the highest caliber. I've never known him to lose his temper or use harsh language even under the most demanding of situations. A true professional in his field with the training and experience that a client needs.
He is highly recommended to anyone seeking legal advice, particularly with those difficult problems that are common to co-ops and condominiums: common charge arrears, loud noise complaints, small claims summons, alteration agreements, etc., etc.
My only regret is that Regent's Park Gardens Condominium did not use his services before 2008.

Mr. Schroeder provided invaluable legal advice when I pursued a lawsuit against my wedding venue when they slipped in an erroneous $2,500 charge two days before my wedding and threatened to cancel the event if the amount was not paid. This was further grossed up by a 22% service charge and 7% tax rate for a total of $3,225. Mr. Schroeder devised the legal argument and using his advice, I was able to secure a judgement in my favor. Mr. Schroeder was professional throughout the process and provided sound legal advice and pointed to relevant case law for his arguments. He was an extremely prepared and passionate attorney. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has been unlawfully taken advantage of. Should I ever need plaintiff's counsel again, i would not hesitate to contact Mr. Schroeder.

Bill was recommended to me by my financial lawyer to advise me legally regarding my drawn out divorce. He has literally been the most supportive, available, reliable and knowledgeable resource during this very draining process. Divorce is already messy, but with Bill's help I was advocated for effectively and aggressively. He accepted my calls and personally went out of his way to represent me, even discussing legalities outside office hours when it was the only time available. He would go over paperwork with me on the phone and made sure I was covered in the final agreement drafted by the mediator. I cannot recommend him enough. Esp to single women. His prices are more than reasonable for the care and experience he has and gives. There are A LOT of lawyers who take advantage of women in the frail emotional state of their divorces and charge them exorbitant hourly fees for hardly any real advocacy or work done on their part. Esp in NYC. So do your research and keep your lawyer on a tight leash if you decide to not go with Bill. Every time you talk to your lawyer, keep track of the length of phone calls, meetings and keep a paper trail. That way, when it comes to final invoicing, you've got all the documentation to show how much he/she should be charging. I was overcharged by one such lawyer and wrote a review about him on Yelp. Keep costs up front and talked about each time you speak with your lawyer. It's not personal, it's business. You have to think of it as a game of chess, and leave your emotions at the door. Lawyers are not therapists so don't get your time with them confused with talking about anything other than legalities and your case. I truly hope you hire Bill though because he is absolutely a gem in the midst of a lot of greedy Wall Street wolves. Good luck and stay smart ladies. I know how tough divorce is, so keep your support system strong cuz you cannot do it on your own. Bill will be in your corner the whole time and keep putting those boxing gloves on you each time until you get the best settlement possible. A paralegal friend of mine told me, "Lacey, you will not get the settlement you want. No one gets the exact settlement they want. But you can walk away with the best one, and when it's drafted, take it".

Mr. Gross has worked on my case for approximately three and a half years. I have to say that this experienced lawyer has chutzpah and would transform into a shark if he has to. There were obstacles but he has done extremely well in overcoming them. He helped me get a huge settlement. In so many words Mr Gross is a damn good lawyer. I would give him ten stars if the rating existed.
