My Lawyer was professional and proactive. She communicated everything as soon as she was able. She followed thru and answered all communication. We met Paul after a motorcycle accident, he was recommended to us by an old co-worker. From the start of our long journey Paul was on the ball and up front about things we could run into. If there were things we didn't understand Paul would take his time and make sure we understood what was going on. He broke everything down and explained everything in a way we would make sense of it. Paul always told us if we weren't happy with the settlement offers we could go to trial, there was never any rush on coming to an agreement we felt was fair. I have been a client of AnneMarie Lanni for some time now. She has been helping me work through many serious issues revolving around custody of my daughter. From day one, she has always been open, truthful, and communicative with me. I never once felt like she did not care or didn't have the time for my case. Communication has never been an issue. Whenever I needed to speak to her, she has always reached out to me if it was through the firm's portal, email, or by phone. She is extremely friendly and warm, which makes it so much easier to work with her. But do not let her friendly demeanor fool you. When it comes to presenting in court, she is a straight shooter and isn't easy to rattle. She is not the one to be pushed around and has always been on top of her game. She makes it known that my child and my concerns are her top priority. I have always felt comfortable entering a courtroom because of her. She comes prepared. She is very knowledgeable of family law, and it truly shows when she is standing in front of the judge while representing her client. She is fantastic, and I can not thank her enough for being in my corner during a very difficult time in my life. I would like to add that the office staff at the firm are all top notch. Any time I have had any interaction with the paralegals or secretaries in the office, it has always been a pleasant experience. They are helpful and kind. Again, I highly recommend this law firm for all family law issues, especially AnneMarie.

Marc Weissman of Cobert, Haber & Haber has been wonderful! My husband died in 21 and left us with a mess! Marc has been a. professional, b. kind, c. unbelievably reasonable with fees, d. gone above and beyond a lawyer's responsibilities! My husband had a coop in Brooklyn and the coop board has been impossible! Marc worked with their lawyers and the buyer's lawyers to get the apartment sold. I am very impressed with Mr. Slepian's work ethic. I consulted him with a question about possible actions to take, and he took the time to thoroughly understand the background of my immigration process. He was the first lawyer to do this, and as a non-native speaker, I really appreciated that he spoke slowly and clearly. He also didn’t try to push his services on me. Instead, he made me feel very relieved. If I ever need an immigration lawyer, he will be my first choice.

I decided to hire Mr. Bartlett for my DWI case after he was referred to me by multiple people as I searched for an attorney. I am so happy I did. He was always reachable and got back to me within minutes. First, we had a DMV refusal hearing with the DMV court which he was remarkably able to get dismissed !!!! This was huge for me because no matter the outcome of the DWI case my license would’ve been suspended for a year. Next after months of going back and forth and the prosecution not offering me a favorable deal we decided to go to trial. During the trial, Mr. Bartlett was outstanding and got the CASE DISMISSED !!! I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and lawyer. I highly recommend Mr. Bartlett.

I was happy with my initial divorce proceedings and communications with Palermo and my divorce lawyer, Ms. Riley Perry. However, after the divorce was final, the handling of the QDRO and getting my remaining retainer back has been a NIGHTMARE. I have sent countless emails and left messages that do not get any response. The QDRO was finalized in November of 2021 - I do not have a certified copy and I still do not have a refund of what is remaining on my account

I had a problem with a bogus outstanding lien that was preventing us from being able to close a real estate transaction on behalf of my parents' Estate. Billy Skulikidis came to my rescue! He reviewed all the information provided, asked a few questions and came up with a solution that should have successfully terminated the lien. When my termination filing was rejected by the County Clerk's Office, Billy followed up with the attorney there that same day. He then forwarded the parts of the law that supported his position. Ultimately, the County attorney agreed to accept the termination filing Billy had prepared for me and the lien has now been cleared. We are now scheduled for closing. Great job by Billy and so much appreciated!

Save yourself from steve the worst unresponsive lawyer on long Island. I was hardly contacted the entire time of the sale and purchase of my houses. We had to call him every step on the way asking what we needed to do for the next step, this guy barely returned a phonecall the same day, sometimes taking even multiple days. From not involving myself in an email chain to keep me updated with what's going on, to him not talking to his partner to know what the contract was that he was working on, not knowing the correct closing date, and just not having a clue to talk to her first to make a plan before talking to me. Do not use him unless you enjoy a stressful time. He doesn't look closely at contracts at all and I told him to not take a pool table, and he never talked to me about it, and left it in the contract costing me 400$ after closing to remove it, he straight up lied to my face, Do not use him no matter what

Can't Believe what she said in a mediation session between my Wife and her ex husband concerning alimony payments. She basically threatened said to her that why would you want this mediation to go a court when my Wife's accountant had a legal issue that was public knowledge when you googled him. That"s what a lawyer might say if he was representing the Ex Husband! But she was the mediator! Totally unprofessional.
