Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

Heather Fig is an outstanding Attorney. She should be awarded the highest rating that any rubric offers. She is ethical, extremely hard working, eminently knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring. She is familiar with every detail of my case and the law. She applies herself so completely that one would think she’s working for a relative. Honestly there should literally be a line at her office to procure her representation. She’ll restore your good name if you are wrongly accused. Her reputation in the courthouse proceeds her. People actually stand back and say ooh when they hear that you have Heather Fig defending you. Seriously, if you don’t pick her to represent you you’re making a mistake.
Her staff is equally terrific. She would never surround herself with anything but the best. Working with her has been a genuine source of inspiration.

His name is no longer on the sign, but I met with him several times six years ago and 2 weeks ago at this office. Joe Liccardi is a crook. Six years ago he took $500 from my boyfriend to file a will and provided me a signed copy along with the receipt for receiving $500 cash, and kept the original in the office. I was there when the will was signed. Upon his passing last month I contacted and met with Joe with the copy he gave me in hand. Not only did Joe act as if we had never met, he also denied having the original will, which I witnessed him telling one of his assistants to "file (it) and shred the old one (will)" on the very same day it was signed, witnessed, notarized, provided me a copy and received $500 cash. My boyfriend and I were both there. He did NOT provide us the original, if he did what would be the point of providing us a copy? How can they not have it in their files? My signed copy lists Joe as the executor, how can he not have it? Everyone knows the standard rule is to keep all files for at least seven years? Now my daughter, NOT me is being robbed of her inheritance. Something Shady is going on. I'm currently in the process of probating my father's estate with another firm, this is not foreign territory for me. Please don't insult my intelligence. Please take your business elsewhere.

I lost my job because of this lawyer and his receptionist. I’ve been dealing with this company for over 10 years and they messed up my paperwork. I’ve called for months and months and months asking “When will I receive my updated information and they kept telling me it’s in the mail but nothing came. The receptionist talk and treat me like I was beneath them because I’m an immigrant and needed their help. I was beneath them. They would have me on hold for 20 mins then hang up the phone on me. I would call back and They would pick up the phone and just hang it back up.They disgraced me. Finally I had to get very serious and asked to speak to their boss. That is when they had the nerve to tell me that my stuff was delivered months ago. But I did not receive it. I spoke to the lawyer and this man really had the audacity to tell me that he’s “not running a charity case” and it’s my fault that I did not receive my paper because I should’ve been checking the mail. He stated that I have to pay to start the whole process over, when I already payed them to take care of this issue for me. Now I’m jobless, almost homeless and about to lose my car. I am so hurt and I just don’t know what to do. I had to go and reapply and now it’s been over two months and I still have not received anything. I’m so disappointed and will not deal with this place ever again

Daniel C Gallagher PC front desk receptionist and secretaries have provided me with the worst experience I have ever had in an attorney office. The attorney Peter is outstanding but the team is very unprofessional. They have no common courtesy, no empathy, no urgency nor consideration for clients or my situation. I checked the online portal and saw documents request was made on my case almost 2 months ago with a deadline closely approaching. Documents which I had previously submitted is being asked for again because I have the lawyer’s address as I thought it would be quick and efficient but I was super wrong. I asked about the update with them and I was very rudely told that I will be called. It was until I took a day off of work and went there and saw that the requested document was already in my file for over 50 days but I was never called about it. I mean that’s the main part of their job to keep the clients updated on what’s needed for the case. I asked the front desk receptionist for a copy of my document so I can provide accurate details to the persons I am requesting additional information from, the receptionist basically shrugged me off stating they will let me know if new information is needed. What made me angry is they did not read nor present me with a copy until I became persistent. It’s either they are prejudice or simply have no decorum. Had I not looked and taken the initiative to visit the office, when would they have contacted me? Who’s responsible for this wasted weeks of my time. Only after I requested a copy she read the letter and then realized request for additional information was needed. I also asked for a letter from the attorney. the receptionist got up, went to the other receptionist whom I noticed is on her cell phone on social media, they mentioned my name between themselves … then frustrated she gave me a copy and under her breath she said “ Go Crazy”… I have been waiting and struggling anticipating updates everyday on my case. Every hour everyday is important. Then here comes these clueless Front desk receptionists, who tried to make me feel inferior when communicating with her. I left in such a terrible mood and is very disappointed seeing I paid a pretty good amount for their services, and to be treated like this by the receptionist is appalling. Looking down on others!!!! It seems their job is of no importance to them. The attorney needs new professional staff ASAP. I will keep this attorney on my case but these receptionist is nothing short of incompetent.

Extremely negative experience after being used by David Boies several years to make himself hundreds of millions. He worked with the lawyer BRAD EDWARDS whose firm SA clients & me, their client. They did this knowing it would damage me psychologically/emotionally without a care. I walked away used and fiscally damaged. I was a client of DM's for several months in developing and negotiating a divorce agreement from an abusive spouse. Debra was always timely in responding to my e-mails and kindly offered a lesser fee in deference to my financial situation, which I very much appreciate. What I missed during the process of our work together was her ability to fiercely protect and defend my need for absolute separation on all levels from my abuser. From her background in social work, specifically in working with DV cases, I thought she would have a basic understanding of an abusers proclivity to maintain control over their victim, including weaponizing any available tool or term in a divorce agreement that maintains access to their spouse. Her suggested strategy was to give in to every term my abuser requested including allowing my abuser to remain connected to me via leases in my name, claiming that he wouldn't sign the divorce agreement otherwise. Since then, I've discovered at least one way in which I could have exercised leverage to force him to release our union on a lease agreement. It's been a year since I began the initial divorce from my abuser. My divorce has been granted, but the divorce agreement I created with Debra has shackled me to my abuser in ways I never imagined and I am now painfully working my way through the court system towards redrafting an agreement clause by clause. My suggestion to anyone dealing with an abusive spouse is to work with a highly principled litigator with a track record, not a mediator.

I saw her today for a prenup consult and she was fantastic - strong and shrewd in her knowledge yet kind and thoughtful. I would recommend her to anyone. I think she pours her heart into this job but has the intelligence to back it up. In my case it turned out I have to find an attorney in NJ since the prenup that my other half drafted with his attorney is based in NJ, so sadly I have to find another attorney otherwise she would be it!
