To start I will simply say that Craig Cares. He was always very open and honest with me from day one. He asked how I was and helped me out, even when it didn't pertain to my case! When my teenaged son became the victim of a vicious hit-and-run attack, we were busy dealing with the medical and criminal aftermath. But we also needed help on the civil side to get some financial relief. Ben was highly recommended by a dear friend as the best in this field, and we were lucky to have him on our side. He immediately came to visit us in person and explained the whole process. Over time, there were several unexpected twists and turns in the case involving out-of-network medical costs, the attacker's auto insurance, and our own insurance. Ben patiently explained the implications of all of this as it unfolded and made sure that we were clear on everything. He handled the day to day details so we could focus on my son's recovery, but always kept us informed. He made himself available by text, phone, and email at all hours. Ben's advice, patience, negotiation skills, and support through all of the twists and turns have been invaluable. Kampf, Schiavone & Associates are the best attorneys ever! Although my cases were difficult & complicated with multiple work injuries, Schiavone, Kampf & Associates never gave up on my cases with both, Workmen’s Comp, and my Subsequent Injury Benefit Trust Fund case, also known as SIBTF. I started with Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates a few years back, & they were finally able to get the State Workmen’s Compensation Board & State (my employer) to come to a final agreement & we settled with a fairly good outcome for me, and I was very happy with that Permanent & Stationary settlement. It’s very difficult trying to settle any type of a case with the state of California, but my attorney’s at Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates did just that for me., and they did it extremely well. They also found me great doctors to provide the lifetime medical care I needed, and where I live, that’s not an easy thing to do. Immediately after my case was settled with Workmen’s Compensation, my attorneys advised me that I might qualify for the State SIBTF award. And my attorneys began the process of setting me up with the required various Medical evaluations, which didn’t take very long at all. I think the whole process of all the evaluation took about perhaps less than a year maybe, and then my attorneys set up with the State of CA SIBTF for SIBTF court hearings, which I did not have to go to at all. My attorney took care of everything For me. Bottom line, my attorneys won me 100% with approximately 7.5-8 years of backpay, Plus a substantial monthly amount of income for the remainder of my life-span. I am very thankful for everything Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates did for me. I don’t know what I would had done without them, & their help, but I do know this: Schiavone, Kampf, & Associates never gave up on me & my cases with them. They fought long & hard for me, and provided me with solid emotional support, when things felt too hard & overwhelming for me…they were always there for me. I consulted Craig Walkon after talking to another attorney about a medical malpractice case I potentially had. The practice I talked to wasn't able to help me but highly recommended Mr. Walkon. Mr. Walkon listened to me with patience and he really cared about what I had been through not only physically but emotionally as well. He had me send him all of my records (which were a lot) and he took the time to go through them for free. Mr. He offered me solid legal advice and I was able to settle my case outside of a courthouse. It was his legal expertise that helped get me through my situation with out going from attorney to attorney. I didn't hire him as my attorney because he gave me such great advice I didn't need an attorney, yet he still answered my phone calls and let me ask him legal questions throughout my medical nightmare. He is very trustworthy and if I ever needed to consult an attorney again, I would go straight to Mr. Walkon.

I hired Mr. Wade to expedite my divorce after being with an ill-prepared attorney for 1 1/2 years in which I didn't get past the discovery stage. I got quick results with Mr. Wade and my divorce was finalized after 4 months. His support staff quickly responded to all my emails and returned my calls. Mr. Wade is very experienced and knowledgeable and found an error in a filing by my ex-spouse's attorney and took immediate action on her behalf which saved me money and didn't prolong the divorce proceedings. He is involved in all the cases in his firm. Every Wednesday he conducts a meeting with his associate attorneys to consult and monitor their progress and provides them with his expert advice when necessary. This company is great. A rehab facility let my dad fall almost everyday he was there. The last time the day he was to come home he fell and hit his head. California is a difficult state to be a medical malpractice plaintiff. You're going to need the best and in my opinion, you could do no better than David Smith. Ours was a complex case, one which other attorneys had rejected due to all the difficulties of prosecuting medical malpractice in California. Once Mr. Smith agreed to take our case, he was like a bulldog! We encountered some serious obstacles and were up against a heartless insurance company law firm that tried to play some ruthless games and (in my opinion) shady legal maneuvers. But Mr. Smith was ahead of them at every step, even as they seemed intent on taking the case to trial. Ultimately, they came to realize that we had a tenacious pro on our side, and they settled. What I can tell you is that I'm not a big fan of attorneys in general, but we really felt like we had a powerful and effective ally in Mr. Smith. It turns out he's a helluva nice guy too!

I spoke to a social worker in regards to the stability of their home life when they aren't with me. Being concerned about my daughter, and the inconsistency of her lifestyle which concerned me quite a bit whenever she would take the kids or present a different new boyfriend/place to stay.. (for the most part I have raised them/they lived w/me) I began to get concerned about how they were being affected by her irresponsibility as a parent. Later to find out that they were not attending school, and my oldest grandson taking on the babysitter role and would get in trouble for his little brother in which he became a totally different kid (quite angry about his whole environmen) he was told to lie to me if I asked him questions. My grandson started to call me when his mom would sleep/ or wasn't home and he would tell me things. I convinced my daughter to let me take them to live with me during the week so I can enroll them back in school and fix the inconsistency again time passed and they were safe with me; She started telling me things when she didn't get her way, trying to manipulate saying she was taking the kids from me (*if I talked to her about lying, and being irresponsible etc...) I got to the point that I needed to help these kids before she really screwed them upore and swore to look; nyo things and if she ever got into trouble shoplifting etc... I would use it to my advantage. The social worker referred me to Legal services for children and I started to work on getting guardianship and soon enough she went to jail. They were great, they helped me so much with everything including emergency paperwrk for serving her in jail for restraining order etc .. they came to my home to talk to the kids and I. They made it smooth like butter explaining everything!!! So glad she recommended this place. Perfect for kids who eed help!!!

Dealing with the death of a loved one is hard, dealing with an untimely death that necessitates litigation is beyond comprehension when you're grieving, but it's sometimes the choice you need to make. We found ourselves in a situation where our tenant had not paid rent in our commercial building for 2 months, and was coming up on the 3rd. I first met Maryam in 2013 while she worked diligently on a criminal case for my husband. She had truly been a Godsend to my family. Maryam went above and beyond to thoroughly represent my husband, she went as far as to obtain her notary license so that she could notarized an important document while my husband was incarcerated at MDC, LA. I could call on her and Maryam would be available. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that she was an attorney that actually cared about her clients. Maryam was honest with me and did not sugar-coat the severity of my husbands case. I felt safe and connected to her for her honesty. Tragically, my husband passed away in custody. I had not spoken to Maryam in well over a year (we ended up going with a public defender). I received a very heartfelt text from Maryam giving me her condolences and telling me how much she knew I loved my husband. A year and half later in 2016, I hired her to represent my minor daughter for a DUI. Again, I cannot tell how much she went above and beyond to represent thoroughly for my family. She works hard, she's honest and she has a heart that truly wants to help her clients and represent them in the best possible way. Maryam took the time to sit and meet with my daughter and offered her ear and help even beyond the court room. I had found Maryam Sharifi through a common aquantance and I will say I was very lucky to have been able to find a way to her. I had received a DUI charge that was pending as a felony and she did everything she could to save me jail time and bring it down to a misdemeanor. She had spoken with me dad and many occasions and went out of her way to keep him informed as well and she really got to know us had a genuine concern for my well being. She found a traffic school for me and made sure I kept up with any and all court assigned classes to make sure I got out of this okay. For a very long time I had a huge worry of going to jail and having to drop out of school and all that come with that; and Maryam has helped physically as well as mentally with all of that and I couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend Maryam Sharifi if you have any kind of issues like I did.

I worked w/ Dennis Stout as my attorney, though I met w/ Jim first, as his firm came recommended to me by another attorney as "the gold standard" for their services. I could not have been more pleased with the work they did for me, and the results. Dennis and his associates had to follow many paper trails and deal with J&J attorneys that made this particular case a miasma of processes to figure out. I am SO glad I did not make a "class action" choice. Dennis was quite accessible and the lengthy process was always fully explained. It took time but was ultimately worth it. I highly recommend the firm.

I was lucky enough to have John helped me with a malpractice case against a doctor.
