Hello, my name is Christopher A. Ackerman. In 2013 I was having horrendous back pain than pretty much immobilized me, until one day, I was completely, and permanently immobilized. Paralyzed from the belly button down, or T-9. I was laying in bed in the hospital at Scripps-Mercy Hospital, in San Diego, CA, and knew I needed a lawyer. I consulted a referral service, who highly recommended Norman M. Finkelstein, who came right to my hospital room. We had discussed a few possible outcomes for my case, if everything went well, and I hired him. Boy am I glad I did!
Well here we are, at the part where we had discussed outcomes. Our bottom line that we set, in our discussion, Norman was able to beat by 30%. In addition, my medical has all been accounted for, as well as all of my medical equipment.
I can now look forward to living my life being cared for by the best of hands. I can buy a nice little house, and live my life in comfort. Norman Finkelstein gave me my life back, and also has become a good friend to me. We are on a first name basis, Facebook friends, and laugh and joke, all the time.
I was faced with an unfortunate set of circumstances in my life, that changed everything. I was very blessed, at this time, to have made the acquaintance of, Norman Martin Finkelstein. I was extremely troubled, and my prayer's, truly were answered.

We shopped around and spoke with 6 other attorneys before finding Richard Thomas Collins. We knew he was "the one" when he took time to listen to every aspect of our case and even advised us for awhile, before we officially hired him. And then when we did sign on with him, he tried to be reasonable about the fee and not charge more than necessary. His attitude was to see how things go and maybe he wouldn't need to charge more.
Other attorneys wouldn't even talk beyond 10 minutes or so without demanding a retainer fee.
Richard Collins remained realistic and careful not to promise positive results that might not happen, but at the same time, he was thorough and quoted actual penal codes that pertained to our case. He did his homework and made sure the details were correct. The letters he wrote on our behalf were so outstanding and accurate that it helped us get through rough days and cheered us up to read them!
It appears that the outcome of the case is exactly what we had hoped for, and we attribute that result to Richard Collins' expertise and knowledge, for our type of case.
He was completely professional yet sensitive to what we were going through as real people with feelings.
His manner is so pleasant and reassuring.
He was always good to return calls and kept us informed.
Having worked with other attorneys on other unrelated issues in the past, we wish we had known about him sooner!

I am very happy I was able to work with Dave Burnett. I was in a car accident that resulted in my car being totaled. I was and am suffering from a bulging disk in my neck and as a result of the impact from my car accident, I suffered from a concussion.
The lady who ran into me was insured by a very well known insurance company, and they refused to pay for my medical bills. After trying to work out an agreement that was fair, I realized, why am I paying for medical bills that were the result of someone else running into me and destroying my car?

After getting knocked over by a large loose dog, my daughter suggested that I contact Kyle. She hadn't needed representation after being struck by a pick-up truck near Skyline Blvd., but Kyle had generously offered to coach her as she dealt with the driver's insurance adjustor. My situation proved more complicated, first because of the need to secure a witness statement because I had blacked out, and secondly because for some months it seemed that the dog owners were not insured. Kyle had success in unearthing an umbrella policy that covered the incident, and represented me well during the discovery and deposition stages. In the end, he obtained an ample settlement and got a discount on the amount of reimbursement that I owed to cover my medical expenses. I recommend Kyle unreservedly.

Although chronic pain can sometimes feel like a curse, mostly I feel lucky to be alive and grateful for the help I've received since i got a second chance at living. It's been my recent experience that Zinn Law and Co. Are the best in the Bay at handling personal injury cases. When it comes to getting hit off your bike in the city, as I was, there really is no amount of$that can heal such injuries. I’d like to give my thanks and deepest gratitude to the best criminal defense specialist, Mr. Matthew Kaestner. My husband was facing 15 years for a robbery he didn’t commit. Christa has been my Attourney for over a year now, we recently opened a hair salon in November 2011and I was told one of the essentials was to have a good Attourney. Boy they weren't kidding! I've worked in the law for 31 years (bankruptcy), but it was definitely both humbling and strange to be on the other side of the lawyer's desk. You know it's a bad day when you wake to someone cradling your neck and announcing that "the ambulance is on the way " (when bicyclist meets car, bicyclist loses). I interviewed a few PI lawyers (half my friends, it seems, are attorneys). Carter Zinn struck me as incredibly knowledgeable, aggressive and creative. Although the lawsuit was a bit of a roller coaster, at every point along the way I knew I made the right selection. The eventual million dollar settlement was far greater than that predicted by the other lawyers who I interviewed and assessed my case. You cannot do better than to have Carter Zinn as your advocate

Without hesitation, my opinion is that my grandson and family were hugely fortunate that The Heller Law Firm represented us in what turned out to be a very complicated case of medical negligence. My joy and excitement only moments before the birth of my first grandchild turned into panic and desperation while hospital staff attempted to resuscitate him. The medical and physically disabling consequences of my grandson’s brain injury due to an unfortunate and unnecessary traumatic birth slowly emerged over the next couple of years. For me, it was a personal struggle to both acknowledge and confront the obvious permanent disabilities that my little grandson would be challenged with at such a young age and for the rest of his life. Moreover, the notion of pursuing a complicated and likely long legal battle of medical negligence against healthcare providers was not something I was eager to pursue and nor was I optimistic that we would have good results.
