After an accident with an 18 wheeler, we were totally lost on navigating the personal injury and medical side of things. We started receiving calls from the at-fault party’s insurance company trying to settle right away and knew we needed experienced help. I was a little hesitant to work with an attorney at first but we got connected with Chip Evans through a work referral program and he put me at ease right away. Chip is very down to earth, knowledgeable, never seemed in a rush and made us comfortable throughout the entire process. We felt confident at every turn that we were in good hands. He was very patient with my long lists of questions and helped us tackle the pile of medical bills. Chip's case manager Nancy was a pleasure to work with as well and went to bat for us on more than one occasion--including a last minute (and super stressful!) situation that came up less than 48 hours before back surgery. Chip and Nancy were both amazing--very helpful every step of the way and got us through what ended up being just over a two year long process. On January 27, 2023, I was involved in a car accident with a semi-trailer truck on IH-35 Northbound between Austin and Pflugerville. I sustained multiple injuries, including neck, lower back, knee, and head injuries.
After consulting many law firms in the Austin area, I hired FVF Law to represent me throughout the process. Hope Guardia was assigned to my case, and from day one, she was excellent. I explained my side of the story to her, and she told me that she believed I had a case. She immediately started gathering all the evidence about the accident and started handling the negotiations and claim process with the insurance company.
I was informed every step of the way. Hope would email or call me every time she communicated with the opposing council, and she would also follow up with me after every doctor’s appointment to check on me. She was caring and valued my case.
Hope Guardia and Mark Farris were knowledgeable and had much experience in accident law and settlement procedures.
The case took over 21 months before the settlement was reached because the insurance company was dragging the case. The opposing council kept rejecting every demand that was made by my lawyer until Mark Farris came on board to assist Hope with the case. Mark pushed the insurance company to settle the case or go to court. The first time I spoke to Mark, he assured me that he was going to be very aggressive with the opposing council, and he kept his word. Because of my injuries and all my medical bills, he insisted that the insurance company pay the full policy. Moreover, we ended up going to mediation, and the final settlement amount was very close to our demand. I think the settlement was fair given the circumstances.
All my medical bills have been paid, and I have put some money aside for future medical bills as well.
I hope what happened to me that day will never happen again to me or any of my family members. However, if I ever need an injury lawyer, I will definitely hire FVF Law Firm, especially Hope Guardia and Mark Farris. These two lawyers made me feel like a family member. For that, I am grateful for what an excellent job they did. Thank you, Hope, Mark, and FVF Law, for everything you did to help me get the best settlement in my case. Y’all are forever my lawyers!

I got rear ended while driving to work by a non-US driver who was driving a budget rental car with their insurance. It was a weird situation as the non-US driver wasn’t speaking much English and just gave his rental insurance number. For days together, they did not contact me back or returned my calls. These rental insurance are difficult to deal with. A friend suggested to contact Michael Ely and the way Mr Ely handled my case has been exceptional. I felt very comfortable after Michael took charge of my case. The case went slow but Michael & I were very patient and he had everything under control. He regularly updated me and I was so glad. He was responsive to my emails and always looked at the best interest of his client.

Adam came recommended from a family friend. I was in a life altering car accident and Adam was able to help me through the insurance nightmare. He was able to get me results and quickly. He exhausted all possible outlets to try and get me the most for my pain and suffering.
As a small business owner, I had to take time off of work which was costly to my business. He was a true asset in giving advice on the situation and laid out the possible courses of action. I highly recommend Ramos and James Law Firm. I first contacted them after snowmageddon 2021 when I slipped on the ice and broke my wrist at a hotel. Many of the attorneys I contacted, did not handle slip and falls. Ramos and James took my case and sent me a contract to sign through my email. The entire process was completed with me living in another state. My attorney was friendly and professional and prepared me very well before depositions and mediations until I could confidently face the opposing attorney. He was kind and empathetic. The law firm sent me text messages and emails to communicate questions and keep me up to date on the proceedings. The best part about them is that even though it was a somewhat difficult case, from the very beginning, they were able to get me a settlement that went a long way towards making me feel better about the time I lost from work and my family while recovering from my injury.

I contacted Logan Howard regarding a labor dispute with the Texas Workforce Commission as it related to unemployment benefits. He contacted me the same day and was very thorough and clear explaining next steps and legal matters. Literally are horrible people unless you pay them an arm and leg then they’ll just take half to the prosecutor to get the case thrown. Other than that if you or anyone you know loved ones, friends, family etc. They are in for it!!
