Jerry literally helped us when we felt we had nowhere or no one to go to. My husband and I purchased a brand new 2021 Ford Explorer so I can drive around with our 5 boys. We only had about 1k miles and the car caught fire! I was 4 months pregnant at the time and scared to death. We attempted to go through Ford in hopes that we could get some resolution…all they did was pressure wash the engine and change the alternator. I was so afraid of driving my explorer that it just sat in the driveway catching dust. Jerry not only got Ford to pay off our vehicle and take it back, but we received compensation to purchase a new vehicle that we can drive around safely in with our 6 boys. Jerry was very professional, and made sure that we got the maximum which is what we deserved. He’s a no BS kind of guy and was straight up with us from the get go. Hopefully we never have to contact him again but if we do I know who to trust.

Our artist's cooperative was having difficulty working with our landlord. The landlord wouldn't work with us to improve several safety issues associated with the retail site. We hired Ms. Pheasant to give us legal advice on how we might proceed with severing our ties with the landlord. Her legal advice was concise and spot on. We followed her advice, drafted our letter, submitted it to our landlord and reached a resolution that was palatable to both parties. Ms. Pheasant saved us quite a large sum of money which, in turn, allowed us to look for a different retail space without the safety problems.

I could make a guess at what his IQ is, but either way I am sure it is off the charts. Matthew might be one of the brilliant persons I have encountered in my lifetime-I feel like I found treasure in coming across his information. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his profession, but unlike some lawyers who are just book smart, he is someone who is friendly, personable, listens to you very well...and is an absolute total shark to boot.
This is someone you want on your side; and boy, do I pity the person who is on the opposing side of him. He took time to listen to my situation in entirety (I called on a holiday that many local attorneys were unavailable on, nonetheless) and he provided me with sharp and insightful feedback. At the end of the call, you almost want him to keep talking, because you learn so much from his wealth of experience.

I was involved in an auto accident and was referred to Mr. Jeffery Wolf. From our first conversation I felt like I made a great choice in choosing to have him represent me. I met with Mr. Wolf at his office to discuss my case and sign paperwork. From that point on, I didn't have to do anything but answer the phone when he called to give me updates on how my case was coming along. In March of 2008, my wife and I were involved in an auto accident. She was unhurt, but I sustained back injuries that required immediate and intense medical intervention and that will likely require periodic care for the rest of my life.
A peer recommendation led us to Jeff Wolf. My wife and I were impressed from our first meeting. Jeff was very clear and detailed in his assessment of the case, how it would likely proceed, hurdles we might encounter along the way, and the "most likely" range of the settlement. He clearly knew his way around such cases and was well-qualified to represent us.
But what else he brought to the table, and what was more important to us than legal know-how was his personal committment to us. He was genuinely concerned about the toll such an undertaking can have upon the participants. He was genuinely concerned about how we were, and not just about how the case was proceeding. My wife and I felt thast we were participating in the process, not just serving as spectators in the undertaking.
In the end, the case was resolved before trial, and the result was almost exactly as Jeff had predicted. We are certain that this was because Jeff knew the law and the ins-and-outs of such cases, and becaus he appeared to have a cordial and winning personal manner with "the other side".
No one should have to go throught this process. But if one must, to have a man like Jeff on your side makes the whole thing bearable, and ultimately worth the time and trouble.
Should we ever again need such counsel, we would go to Jeff without a moment's hesitation. Jeff is a fine attorney, and a very decent and likeable person. We are proud to count him amongst our friends.

Approximately 2 years ago I was a passenger in my husband’s car when we were rear ended at a stop light.
After the accident I had x-rays taken at a local hospital, had an MRI done, saw two doctors, went through physical therapy and paid all the bills associated with the physical damage done to my body after the accident.
In order to obtain compensation for my expenses, because the person who hit us was underinsured, I made an appointment with Mr. Griff Tonkin.
Griff and his staff walked me through a deposition, obtained a settlement reimbursing the hospital, doctors, the X-Ray company for the MRI, and my physical therapist with a professionalism I would expect from an attorney and his staff.
His office kept me informed of the status of my claims via phone and email. Griff answered all my questions in terms a lay person could understand.
I have referred friends and acquaintances to Mr. Tonkin and will continue to do so.

In a day and age when qualified, ethical, experienced, fairly-priced, communicative attorneys are as rare as a Sumatran rhino, along comes Desmond Tuck. I have been working with Mr. Tuck for over 20 years on various issues, most notably matters involving real estate. Without delving into details, I can safely say that you will be unlikely to find anyone better if you tried. He knows the law, but he also knows how to make it work to your advantage. Most importantly, he will never tell you what you want to hear just so you hire him. If you want a lawyer to sugar-coat and tell you things to make you feel nice (when they are undeserved), he is not the one for you. If, on the other hand, you want to receive help that is based on reality and in the context of our disastrously dysfunctional California legal system, Mr. Tuck is the only one I would count on. Knowing how to navigate the system in a logical, rationale, and informed manner is one of his biggest (of many) strengths. As far as trust is concerned, I know that is a concern of many when it comes to lawyers in general. So, imagine a world where you were 100% sure your lawyer was expertly looking out for your best interest without doing it all just to keep the meter running. Sound too good to be true? You haven’t called Mr. Tuck yet. After all this time being his client, I trust him more than some in my own family. So, there you have it: trustworthy, ethical, experienced, extremely competent, informed, and fair in every way. He redeems all those “other” lawyers…you know who they are.

I was in an innuendo with my Home Purchase. We went through all the steps with due diligence since we have been on a contract. The Seller refused to sign on the day of the closing and went hiding. Not knowing what to do, I have been referred to Atty. Desmond Tuck. I will get to the point instead of adorning him with tons of adjectives, which he deserves by all means. Atty. Desmond was able to analyze and derive the possibilities within 30 minutes of the initial consultation. Without any delay he acted on my case putting a lis pendens on the property and getting ready to prepare the seller perform per the contract as per the law. i.e., Specific Performance through Arbitration. His letters to the opposite side was intransigent, coherent and extremely clear about what we are pursuing. He acted on the case promptly making the seller come out of the hideout and offering to pay damage for walking away from the deal. He negotiated on my behalf and obtained about 10% sales price of the purchase contract + all the out of pocket costs which included my escrow deposit, litigation costs, cost of inspection and appraisal. He made all that happen in a matter of 20 days. Here are few things that make him an outstanding lawyer. Plain fact and no gibberish. He does a due diligence in keeping you informed. I am an Engineer and so good with numbers. He derives possible outcomes of a litigation from his wealth of experience and intuition which tells me he has actually paid attention at his law school. He has the correct education and handles your case putting himself in your shoes. He possesses exemplary work ethics and he is an honest human being who would not just go by the texts. He will work with you and make a plan that is most appropriate for you. He will consider your limitation and take or advise steps that you would be comfortable with. He could have gone on with my case and make himself more money. But instead he advised me to full stop to it knowing my objective was not to deal with court but to find a suitable home. He worked towards helping my broker get his fees although he was under no obligation to put any effort there. In addition to that, he is a very approachable human being you would actually like to talk to and get to know as well. I could not be happier with his service. A while back I was hit by a reckless driver on the freeway causing me to roll several times. The next day I had insurance companies calling me pressuring me into say how I felt. I didn't know what to say so I sought out representation. I had a life altering accident, I interviewed many attorneys and ended up with the firm of Kiesel law.
