I foolish had signed a postnuptial that could have ruined me financially. I had consulted with another lawyer and was told there was nothing that could be done. I was absolutely devastated!! I then met with Andy later that day. He looked over the postnuptial and found so many loop holes. I knew I had found the lawyer I needed for my divorce. He is so incredibly knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, takes the high road on issues. I highly recommend hiring Andy as your divorce and family attorney. I would highly recommend Jeff Colerick as the attorney to call in Colorado Springs. I was in a car accident with my three children last year and suffered injuries to my back and neck and we all had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. The insurance companies were impossible. A friend recommended I call Jeff. He took my case seriously and was persistent and kept me informed. He ultimately got a settlement for myself and for each of my children that was more than I even expected. We are grateful for his help.

We highly recommend using Darrell Damschen as he fought, and won, a dispute for us over improperly installed siding on our home. My wife and I hired Mr. Damschen to defend us against a complicated lawsuit filed against us by a reckless and negligent hardwood flooring contractor. Mr. Damschen initially provided us with free phone consultations and then we hired him to represent us. Mr. Damschen is personable, cordial and easy to speak with as he does well to translate legal jargon into common English. He was always well prepared and did considerable research to stay on top of the case. He was successful in getting a number of claims against us withdrawn or dismissed and ultimately put us in a good situation to address the true matter at hand which was complicated by the contractor's frivolous claims. In the end Mr. Damschen was able to get us in a position to make a very reasonable settlement offer to avoid further legal costs. We would highly recommend Mr. Damschen to anyone who is dealing with a construction defect or a contract dispute.

Darrell did an exceptional job of determining all that would be required and making contacts with all necessary players. He kept several of our people in the loop not just me. He guided the proper funds resources needed for the bidding process. He acted as our representative in the bidding process at the county office. He made sure all of the necessary paperwork was filed with the county. He checked to be sure that the transaction became finalized after the necessary waiting period. He secured the information needed to gain access to the property after the transaction was final. Everything that Darrell did was outstanding and clear and with the necessary detail. He made all of the required decisions that could have been a source of unnecessary work for us as client. I highly recommend Darrell to anyone seeking legal guidance. We hired "Woodruff" years ago, literally on a wing and a prayer..."God, please let us find the best attorney for our child." God did not disappoint. When we first met David, he was quiet and unassuming. He was politely matter-of-fact as he explained the law to us, the "easier" bits of a lawsuit, and the difficulties that were sure to come in a case as complex as ours. He promised that he would do everything in his power to help our child, and then he set about to do just that. There were so many issues, so many uphill battles that had to be fought and won. Each step of our case seemed fraught with peril. David even had to travel back to the state of origin to force production. David went above and beyond for us. Even when it was looking bleak, as it did at times, David reassured us that, no matter what, he was all in. When it came time for trial, David masterfully weaved the threads of a broken, fragmented, tangled mess of chaos into a clear and powerful portrait of what happened to our child and why. Every question was answered. He fought for her. He advocated for her when no one else would even try. And he won. There are no words that could ever come close, no words that are big enough or grand enough or mighty enough to show just how grateful we are that Clark Kent just so happened to be at his desk one day, and just so happened to answer his phone.

I had a 30 min. free consultation with Vernon Ready about a week ago. I had questions regarding a contempt of court hearing for child support. He answered all my questions, was very concise, professional and friendly. I had called several other attorneys before I talked with Vernon and hands down he was the best. The other attorneys wouldn't answer several of my questions without "paying for their time" or asking me to retain them. Excellent communication skills. Was given the time and attention I personally needed, as well as the time and attention my case needed. After being rear ended I called up the office and felt like they put everything else on hold to focus on me. We quickly got appointments to be evaluated and to make a treatment plan. When I had questions Ken and his office went above and beyond during Covid to accommodate face time and zoom calls, or quick texts. There was a point when I didn’t like the doctor I was working with and in less than an hour I had appointments with another office who made me feel comfortable. After three months I have no out of pocket medical expenses and we are working for a fair compensation. I feel respected and valued, I feel trust in the process laid out for me, and in the action taken to follow that plan. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I had a workers' comp case, which I thought was complicated by other events at work. Mike is very straightforward and informs you what is important in workers' comp law and what is not. He is very straightforward on what your case is worth, and explains injury caps. Working with Pinnacol, he selected an independent doctor who was 100% on my side helping our case. I spoke with Brian about my situation. He had me email the contract to him so he could review and told me there was a breech of contract. He offered to call the videographer for me. The next day, Brian sent me an email letting me know that he was able to get in touch with the guy and got him to commit to an ECD as to when the film would be sent to me. Brian checked in on me a few days after the film was due to make sure I got it. I was not happy with the final product from our videographer and talked to Brian about possible steps I could take if I wanted to sue him. After some advice I got from Brian, I decided the damages were too little for me to sue and stress out about. Brian was very helpful and supportive throughout the entire ordeal. He was easy to work with and provided great advice.

I had a complex and unusual case - two car accidents within 4 months (neither were my fault). I don't take any medications and advocate for my own healthcare - so hadn't seen an MD until just before the 2nd accident happened. My husband had a car accident with minor injury. Insurance can be tricky, especially with a totalled car, so we checked into a lawyer. Found out fast that not many lawyer firms want a small case, we felt concerned and at the mercy of insurance. The insurance companies call pretty fast and you don't know if you are doing the right thing with hospital bills / totalled car/sign this and sign that form. All of this and you are looking for a new car, and your car was paid for and now you worry if you can afford a newer car....worry worry worry. We finally found Paul Wilkinson's law firm and met with him. He took us on and treated us like we mattered. They handled everything...even on small cases the paper work is daunting and so are your nerves. Even a small incident turns your life up side down for a bit. It took about 13 months ( do not hold your breath waiting for quick settlement , nothing moves fast with multiple entities). We were kept updated on what was happening. When all was done and papers signed: THEY took all of the stress out of it, THEY handled hospital bills, THEY finished it. We felt like we did the right thing by letting a pro handle it all. Mr. Copeland became my friend after he represented me in a law suit that lasted over two years. He is the type of person who takes his time in explaining the court’s procedures and makes it so that the average layman can understand. The other thing that I liked about Mr. Copland is that when you are in a law suit you are sometimes driven by emotion and cannot see a matter from a logical viewpoint, he explains the matter in a way that helps you understand what the courts are looking for. My case was a personal injury accident which took place in Durango, Co. I was referred to Mr. Copeland by another lawyer who backed out of my case at the last moment.
