I hired Mr. Elwell after getting arrested on DWI. I was referred to him by a trusted friend who is experienced in DWI cases. I proceeded to have him handle my DWI case, as well as my ALR case. After the ALF hearing, I received notification that I had won the case and my license DID NOT get suspended after hearing from multiple people that those cases are almost impossible to win. As for the DWI charge, Mr. Elwell also got the charge dismissed. His office was always timely in keeping me informed about the case. They were very professional and reliable. I would definitely recommend Mr. Elwell to anyone who is going through a DWI case. I will be using his offices to get the charge expunged also.

I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

I have hired Mr. Garcia for two criminal cases over the past 5 five years. He was able to get BOTH cases dismissed each time. He knows his way around the Courthouse and was very professional with the Judges and District Attorneys. I was entered into a legally binding contract as an investor/lender in 2019 pre-Covid. During the middle of the pandemic, the contract had matured and the borrower had not paid back funds. After a year of waiting and stressing out; I decided it was time to take legal action.
Enter Toby -
Toby represented me as the plaintiff and excelled in all that he did. Due to Covid, the court system had slowed down and everything seemed to be taking longer than it usually would. Fortunately, I had Toby on my side and he churned on unfazed. The defendant tried to pull every stop to slow him down but she certainly wasn’t able to keep him from getting a judgement in my favor.
Once Toby was hired, he dealt with the court case and all communications with the defendant once she tried to make direct contact. I never had to be present in court, yet Toby always made me feel like I was in control and made sure I had all the information needed before I made a decision. Through the process, Toby gave suggestions and recommendations on how to move forward and he was ALWAYS right!
Even though the legal case took two years because of how backed up the court system was and an elusive defendant; Toby got it done!
The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine and Toby made sure it did.
