I had Linda Havel as an attorney and she was great in every way and is worth MORE than what she charged. I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and suffered a head injury and was off from work for many months and the guy who hit me had no money but she was able to fix it where I had my hospital bills covered and my expenses covered while I was off work and ended up with a nice sum of money.

Linda was our first chose. We were nieve enough to think that being with a large insurance company we would protect us. When I had a motorcycle accident that involved a driver with the the state minual insurance. I had uninsured and underinsured coverage but that ment nothing to the insurance company, they jumped through hoops to avoid payment. I went through five different claims agents, while the company tried to ware us down. Linda stay with us, she fought like a bulldog, and we finally reached a settlement that we though was fair.

We had a drainage easement imposed on our land and received an offer from the county representative. Although this was not a large sum of money involved, I had no experience in this and didn’t know if the offer was reasonable. So, I saw the free case review offered by Sever /Story, and we decided to contact them. I received an email reply from Phil within a few days and a return call the next week, and I got some great advice from him. With his suggestions, I was able to negotiate an increase in the offer from the county. Although our situation didn’t warrant them taking us on as a client, it was well worth the call and time to be sure we were being treated fairly by the county. It was a well worth my time to contact them and get some real advice from someone who knows the process and who gave us confidence that we were not taken advantage of in this easement acquisition.

She made my calls a priority. Her follow up was stellar. She sent follow up emails after talking to us after the court hearings to make sure we understood what exactly happened in court and what to expect next. Her fee structure was well explained and fair. She has a lot of experience and that was obvious with her knowledge of case law and just the law in general. It is very hard to be heard when you are JUST kinship placement in our DCS system. Mrs. Boyd successfully helped us in this process. Elaine was a referral from a friend. I'd never been in court before and, I was so upset and afraid when I received my summons in the mail. Elaine was prompt and reassuring. She worked meticulously to find out as much information as she could that pertained to my case. She consulted with my child's teacher, his therapist, and others to make sure that what was in the best interest of my child would be the outcome in this case. Myself and the other parent had a horrible relationship when this all started . We were required through the courts to complete a course and Elaine wanted feedback. She asked me questions, in hopes that I'd learned something that could be applied to my specific family situation. I won in court, myself and the other parent have a much better relationship now, and most importantly my child is happy. I had no hope in the beginning of this case and by the end of it all my family was free from all of the strife and disappointment from past years.

Had a bad experience with a major insurance carrier trying to handle my minor son’s injury case resulting from a rear end auto accident. The insurance company made a low ball offer and would not budge when presented with a reasonable counter offer to settle. I just want to point out a couple of things regarding Mrs. Pulley. I have a very interesting case going on regarding custody that has had a lot of things happen.
1st of all, if you want someone who’s going to pay attention to you and tell you the truth as long as you’re upfront about your situation, this is the attorney to have. Crystal is very passionate about what she does and definitely does her research. Let me reiterate, she does her RESEARCH. I wasn’t paid to do this. I wasn’t asked to do this. This is just my experience with her as we navigate through my custody case.
2nd of all, any small changes within your case, she’s on top of it and will let you know. Regardless of the outcome of my case, I feel so comfortable dealing with Mrs. Pulley knowing that she’s putting her best foot forward to achieve a good resolution. I am a father of two children. I retained Ms. Pulley because my ex-wife was falsely accusing me of being behind in child support and I was being denied the visitation rights that had been ordered by the court in my divorce decree. We all know lawyers can be expensive, and 90% of the time it is WELL worth it. Dennis spoke very professionally and was very informative at all times. My husband passed away in 2020 and I had to sell the family farm in Michigan. Part of the farm was in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The buyer told me he was going to leave the farm in the CRP program, but did not. Because he lied to me and withdrew the land from CRP, the Farm Serve Agency (FSA) sought tens of thousands of dollars from me in fees and penalties.
