John is very smart and successfully have represented me in two different occasions with a couple accidents while riding my Vespas. In each occasion he provided me with strong recommendations, and would explain all the details in layman’s term. He is quite professional and fought for me like a pit-bull and created fear in the eyes of the most pompous opposing attorneys. He does care about helping others and making sure your body and mind are healthy instead of just wanting what is inside your wallet.

In the beginning of this year I was unfortunately rear ended by a cab driver. A friend of mine had recommended to call John instead of just going through insurance myself and it was definitely the best decision I have made. Not only was he incredibly helpful but so was his staff. They were always there to answer my questions in added provided great recommendations for all my service providers and even arranged me appointments.
In addition John also made sure I received a fair settlement.
Fingers crossed I never have another car accident; however, if I do I will definitely be calling John Nojima again. Thank you John.

I was involved in an auto accident and was referred to Mr. Jeffery Wolf. From our first conversation I felt like I made a great choice in choosing to have him represent me. I met with Mr. Wolf at his office to discuss my case and sign paperwork. From that point on, I didn't have to do anything but answer the phone when he called to give me updates on how my case was coming along. He took care of everything all the way up until my case settled.

In March of 2008, my wife and I were involved in an auto accident. She was unhurt, but I sustained back injuries that required immediate and intense medical intervention and that will likely require periodic care for the rest of my life.
A peer recommendation led us to Jeff Wolf. My wife and I were impressed from our first meeting. Jeff was very clear and detailed in his assessment of the case, how it would likely proceed, hurdles we might encounter along the way, and the "most likely" range of the settlement. He clearly knew his way around such cases and was well-qualified to represent us.
But what else he brought to the table, and what was more important to us than legal know-how was his personal committment to us. He was genuinely concerned about the toll such an undertaking can have upon the participants. He was genuinely concerned about how we were, and not just about how the case was proceeding. My wife and I felt thast we were participating in the process, not just serving as spectators in the undertaking.
In the end, the case was resolved before trial, and the result was almost exactly as Jeff had predicted. We are certain that this was because Jeff knew the law and the ins-and-outs of such cases, and becaus he appeared to have a cordial and winning personal manner with "the other side".
No one should have to go throught this process. But if one must, to have a man like Jeff on your side makes the whole thing bearable, and ultimately worth the time and trouble.
Should we ever again need such counsel, we would go to Jeff without a moment's hesitation. Jeff is a fine attorney, and a very decent and likeable person. We are proud to count him amongst our friends.

I own my own medical practice and recently needed to hire an attorney regarding an issue with one of my employees. I was referred to Mr. Ebriani by another attorney, I was able to schedule an appointment and meet with him at his office in a timely fashion. when I got into a car accident - all I wanted was to go see a doctor to get rid of my back pain but not all doctors accept patients from a car accident. - I called Iris and she got me assigned to a doctor right away. The doctors she sent me were really good. She took genuine care of my health and checked up on me to make sure that the treatment was working.
No need to follow up with her - she is always on top of the case.
I'd hire her again - but hopefully I don't get into any accidents in the future :)

The difference between Joshua and other attorneys is that Joshua actually listens, pays attention to and cares about you and the predicament you are in. He is genuinely interested in making sure Justice is served.
My case was very convoluted with thousands of pages of documents. Nobody could understand what the underlying problem was with my employer. All I can say is Ms. Toubi is a star. Tenant/landlord disagreement that ran for 6 years. I was the tenant dealing with the most unreasonable landlord. I reported them to agencies and the landlord's attorney to The State Bar. No help whatsoever.
Enter Ms Toubi... how she could be in a room with these people I will never know. Despite outright lies from landlord's attorney to her, Ms. Toubi remained professional and on point. The best possible outcome came my way. I won despite the thug tactics of ownership, her management company and her attorney.

I got a referral to Asaf Agazanof through a friend who had used him for another Lemon Law situation. On the initial call he was able to understand the issue very well and asked for a few items to start the case. Within 2 weeks time he provide me with the documents he had submitted to the manufacture (German Car Maker). Less than 6 weeks later he had my settlement which was better than what I had expected. Needless to say, he was very communicative and was on top of everything. The process was very easy although the manufacture was very hard to deal with.

My husband and I hired Robert Hoyt, "Bob" as our attorney on a friends recommendation to handle an accident case which involved my seventeen year old daughter being run into by another vehicle. My daughter lost her car as it was totaled when it was struck by a large SUV driven by someone completely at fault. Thankfully, my daughter came out of the wreck ok, but with
some back pain and personal trauma. Of course the other driver's insurance tried to claim that my daughter was equally to blame which was completely false. Mr. Hoyt carefully reviewed all the facts, visited the accident site, interviewed witnesses and started a tedious battle involving both of the parties insurance companies which ultimately resulted in a settlement large enough to replace my daughter's car and allowed monetary compensation for her pain and suffering. Mr. Hoyt also handled ALL the health insurance, hospital and medical fees called upon as my daughter required chiropractic therapy, X-rays and the like to make sure she was completely well. He even policed my daughter's insurance company as they wrongly tried to claim parts of her settlement.
We can't thank "Bob" enough for his expert professionalism, his hard work and diligence, but most of all for his caring and personal attention to my daughter's well being. We will always be grateful to "Bob" and now call him a great friend of the family.

I found Douglas Weitzman on Avvo related to my real estate dispute. Weeks after signing the P&S the buyers attempted to cancel the contract using the ‘inspection contingency’ as their stated basis—and wanted to back out—but I thought ‘changing their minds’ was not a valid reason to cancel the contract since I provided the buyers with a full disclosure—which described in detail all the current conditions of the property. The buyers commissioned their own inspection report—and the conditions identified in the buyers’ inspection report were the same conditions identified in my disclosure—revealing nothing new—as there were no repairs needed.
Despite this—the buyers exercised their 'inspection contingency' within the 10-day inspection period, during which time the buyer is allowed to have the property inspected to reveal any potential issues that could 'void' the contract. Despite the fact that there 'weren't any' new unsatisfactory conditions on the property—the 'inspection contingency' is obviously a scapegoat that buyers can use to back out of a deal.
Weitzman asked me if I issued a 'notice to perform'—a real estate tool designed to make buyers stick to agreed-upon deadlines that are defined in the real estate purchase agreement—issuing a notice typically gives the buyer 48 hours to remedy the situation at hand—if the buyer has still failed to comply with the agreed-upon action, the seller can keep the earnest money deposit in some cases.
Thus, we learn that the buyers have 'no obligation' to buy until they notify sellers that all contingencies are satisfied. Weitzman gave me a free consultation and in turn helped me define the 'notice to perform' and how to use it—which can be advantageous to both buyers and sellers in the California residential purchase agreement. In this case, I am not at the 'distinct advantage' of issuing the Notice to Perform.
