After having my car totaled and needing physical therapy for the injuries I sustained, the insurance company tried to pressure me to settle before I knew the full scope of treatment I would need over the next year. I am glad I went to PDX Law Group and worked with David Richardson, who helped me understand how to navigate this system without getting taken advantage of, prioritized my care and well being, and was clear and consistent with all communication. Not only that, but he advocated on my behalf when the insurance company tried to nickel and dime what they should pay for my treatment and called them out when they would back pedal on their word. I was injured in a car accident, and I hired a lawyer without any research or knowledge of what to even look for. The experience was terrible, to say the least. I got false information, lost money I didn’t have and wasted a lot of time with a lot of added stress because I couldn’t get any answers or help. I was lucky enough to know someone else who was already going through the legal process with Attorney David Eder. My conversation with them is what also made me realize I was completely with the wrong firm. I was grateful my case hadn’t already closed and reached out to David. He spent time with me on the phone and in person walking me through everything and answering questions so simply, questions I had been asking the old attorney for the last 1.5yrs! So I switched over to David Eder. David and his partners (Ben Eder, Joel Sturm and Andrew Gust) took over my case and got everything in order. The attorney was great throughout the case. When it came crunch time for the final judgement, they never sent in my response. I sent them my marked up document over a month before it was due to the court. The court says nothing was submitted and therefore the other party was awarded everything they asked for. Tried to work with Corey Law to fix this, they refused and said good luck.

I rarely write reviews; however, I want others who are looking for legal help to know what exceptional support I received from Scott Levin and Michelle de Supinski this year in settling my personal injury insurance claim.
From my earliest contact with them, I was met with consideration and respect. When Scott met with my husband and me via Zoom (we live out of state), I was struck by how genuine and forthright he was as well as by his relaxed and, simultaneously, focused attitude as he guided us through the settlement process. Scott not only answered all our questions, but he concluded our meeting by inviting us to email or call him whenever we had more questions or comments (which we did).
I'm equally grateful for Michelle's support: she notified us promptly whenever action was needed on our part, she always responded to our emails quickly, and she kept us appraised of the progress of our case.
However, it was while reading the concise and compelling demand letter that Scott and Michelle submitted to the insurance company that I truly understood the extraordinary skill both of them had brought to my case. In the fall of 2022, I was hit by a car while bike commuting and had multiple injuries. I was initially reluctant to work with a personal injury lawyer but thankfully I reached out to Michael Colbach. He understands this area of law extremely well and he was supportive throughout the somewhat long process. Ultimately my case went to arbitration with the insurance company and the award was the maximum allowed by the plan. I had been been in car accident where the driver was under insured and I had to make claim against my uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance company started jerking me around with unnecessary treatments and less than recommended treatments that were not helping me until my pip coverage ran out then tried to deny my claim all together. That is when I obtained the services of Mr. Clay MacCaslin. He took over and helped me navigate my way through doctors appointments, depositions and taking my insurance company to court. I have been a trial attorney for over fifteen years. When I was injured in a car wreck, I looked carefully for an injury attorney who: a) would take away all of the hassle and stress of personally having to deal with claims adjusters and opposing counsel; b) would not only keep me informed on a regular basis of the status of my case, but proactively make sure I was doing all the things I needed to do on time; c) knew Personally Injury law thoroughly -- both substantively and with demonstrated litigation experience -- from the claims stage all the way through courtroom litigation; and, d) MOST IMPORTANTLY, one who was not afraid to seek the best possible outcome in my case aggressively. (I have been around enough attorneys to know that many are either afraid of litigation/trial, or they want to take the first or second counter offer from the other side because it's quick money in the bank.)
Elizabeth exceeded my expectations on all four of my requirements. I consider myself to be pretty on the ball with my to-do checklists, but sometimes when I slacked on sending in treatment reports to the firm, for example, she would email me personally reminding me to get a, b, or c done, and would also update me with that status of the case/negotiation so I always understood exactly where things were.
In addition, on our second settlement obtained (the UIM claim), Elizabeth was actually confident that she could get the other side to an even better number than she'd already negotiated. It was me who let her know that I trusted that she could, but that just for my peace of mind I wanted to settle at the good enough number she already obtained and move on with my life. She would have kept fighting, though, and with confidence.
I know another attorney who also retained her and came away also completely pleased with the communication and with the outcome.

I've dealt with a lot of attorneys and Bennett is one of the few that was able to review my case with an open mind. He was able to give me realistic expectations and was empathetic to the "employee" in a worker's comp claim. Unfortunately it appears that I missed the filing deadline to move forward with my claim. However, I wish the hearings office would have let me know that before they even scheduled the hearing. Even after all that, Bennett was kind in breaking the bad news to me and I would call him back in a nanosecond if I ever find myself in another work comp situation and refer anyone who would listen to him and his firm! I was hit by a drunk driver in Sunriver while on vacation. While I herniated a disc, I had a ton of preexisting conditions that complicated everything. I am a lawyer and thought I could handle this but when the insurance company rejected my $15,000 settlement demand, I called a defense lawyer I knew in Redmond for a recommendation and without hesitation recommended Tim. I hired him and he and his Assistant, Julie, took over everything. 6 months later I had my deposition (where I thought I did poorly) but a month later Tim had secured a $300,000 policy limits offer!! No IME. I did not have surgery. It was an absolutely wonderful result. The best I could have hoped for. Hire Tim. You want the best on your side.

Jeremiah was amazing, helping me with every part of my case. Yadira Ramirez is an excellent attorney. I was blindsided by false sexual assault allegations. Yadira was always calm, cool and collected. I felt she had my best intentions. She had a lot of patience when I got angry or upset because I didn't understand how the courts work, or how lawyers communicate with the courts, and also the laws. I felt more at ease once when she thoroughly explained how court proceedings take place. Although, I could not ever be fully at ease because of the implications in my case. We had evidence that showed my innocence. But even with that, I still felt anxiety because of how inconsistent the courts in America are. Yadira could have told me that I had a airtight case and that we were going to win in court. But she was honest and said that courts are unpredictable and that she can't guarantee a victory. Which I understand. But she also said that we do have good evidence and that would show favorably for me in court.
Court was set for a Friday, and on Monday my accuser decided she wanted a consent agreement. I did not know what that was, and Yadira thoroughly explained what it was.
The first draft of the consent agreement their attorney sent Yadira was bogus and unfair. Yadira told me to stand firm and not accept the terms. Yadira redlined the document an added language in my favor. Their side sent back another agreement, and Yadira once again said to stand my ground and not accept it...
So finally 2 days before we're supposed to go to court. My accuser and her attorney caved and gave in to our terms and a much more favorable consent agreement, which ended up in a dismissal of my accuser's restraining order against me...
I was extremely anxious and nervous the entire time, 3 months of absolute hell. Yadira gave me my life back and restored a little faith in the legal system. There are lawyers out there that 100% care about their clients and Yadira is absolutely one that cares.

I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case. I came across Travis Mayor who is also a Super Lawyer with many prestigious accolades as well. I called the office of Travis Mayor and spoke with his kind receptionist. She informed me that Travis was on vacation. A few minute later I received a call from Travis in Hawaii!
