I had been in a bicycle accident and chose to handle the claim without hiring a lawyer. Everything went smoothly until I was settling the claim some time later. I received a letter with language and twisting legal terminology I didn't quite understand and wasn't confident signing. I called several layers who would only agree to take on an entire case when all I need was consultation for this one aspect of the claim. I found Charlie online, gave him a call, and he reviewed the letter via email at no charge even though I was willing to pay. Charlie assured me the letter was okay and pointed out a few details I should aware of. This enabled me to settle with peace of mind. Pretty amazing. I was visiting the United States and was injured by a car while cycling. Charley and his staff were wonderful at helping me to navigate the complicated American health care and payments system, as well as arranging for every provider to get their appropriate amount.
Charley also provided extra services, like picking up my broken bike and driving it to a shop for evaluation when I was too injured to do so myself.
All in all, Charley was professional, helpful, and respectful in every way, and his staff were great at communicating and helping with all the bureaucracy involved in healthcare and insurance following a serious injury.

Amazing lawyer, highly recommend him
Tyler helped me get a sizable settlement for a car accident I was in, and fought for me the whole way. I was able to have first run doctor's review my case and it has greatly improved my health outcome. Unfortunately the insurance companies worried more about their bottom line than restoring me back to pre-accident health. Tyler

I was involved in a multi car accident. Seeking assistance from a couple attorneys with no success. Was given Tyler’s information from a friend’s attorney. Met with Tyler on a Saturday, he sat down and explained the process in detail. He was able to work with all three insurance companies and successfully negotiated the proper settlement. Mr. Levine is exemplary in his field. He was referred to me by another attorney who couldn't take my case and I couldn't be happier with the results. Incredibly knowledgeable, works well on the fly and is extremely compassionate. My case was complicated and took almost the full 2 year max to settle. With Mr. Levine in my corner, I was able to get the maximum settlement allowed for my particular case without having to go to trial. What a relief! Because my case took so long, I feel it's important to note that Mr. Levine was always in contact with developments or just to check in to see how I was healing. Remarkable. Quite remarkable. He is professional and articulate. What can not be taken for granted is his incisive and intuitive thinking. As a practicing psychotherapist I was greatly impressed with his "people skills". There are listening techniques such as paraphrase and reflection etc. But, with Cameron, all this is fluid, natural and genuine. I believe it is authentic to his character to help people. Cameron assisted me with my case for months without any compensation, instructed me on how to deal with the insurance company and then to let him know when they responded. He laid out exactly what was probably going to happen and it did. He was correct in all his projections on how the insurance company was going to respond. He asked for details, proceded to communciate with them and the outcome was very good, in fact excellent. I've dealt with a lot of attorneys and Bennett is one of the few that was able to review my case with an open mind. He was able to give me realistic expectations and was empathetic to the "employee" in a worker's comp claim. Unfortunately it appears that I missed the filing deadline to move forward with my claim. However, I wish the hearings office would have let me know that before they even scheduled the hearing. Even after all that, Bennett was kind in breaking the bad news to me and I would call him back in a nanosecond if I ever find myself in another work comp situation and refer anyone who would listen to him and his firm! I was hit by a drunk driver in Sunriver while on vacation. While I herniated a disc, I had a ton of preexisting conditions that complicated everything. I am a lawyer and thought I could handle this but when the insurance company rejected my $15,000 settlement demand, I called a defense lawyer I knew in Redmond for a recommendation and without hesitation recommended Tim. I hired him and he and his Assistant, Julie, took over everything. 6 months later I had my deposition (where I thought I did poorly) but a month later Tim had secured a $300,000 policy limits offer!! No IME. I did not have surgery. It was an absolutely wonderful result. The best I could have hoped for. Hire Tim. You want the best on your side.

I was rear-ended a couple of years ago. I called Dean Heiling's office for advice on settlement and closing my claim with the insurance company. The insurance company did not want to pay me for what I thought was a fair settlement. Mr. Heiling settled the case for me and actually got more than I was asking for. I was in a relatively unique situation involving a car accident and was being held financially responsible, although I didn't believe I was solely at fault. I wasn't sure if it was even worth trying to fight. During the initial consultation, Mr. Leonard did a great job of listening, asking the right questions, and informing me of all of the possible outcomes. He was also clear about what his approach would be, and I left feeling like I had a clear idea of how he was planning to proceed.
I decided to hope for the best and hired him to handle the case. He kept me up to date on the progress of the case and did a great job communicating with me throughout the process.
I was incredibly relieved and grateful when he won the case for me, as it saved me quite a bit of money. Who says that lawyers can't be good people?
The first time I hired Scott was for a traffic infraction that I didn't have time to deal with. He did a great job of keeping me updated and keeping me from having to be bothered at all by the process.
The next time I called him, was for an auto accident where the claim process was dragged out by the other person's insurance company forever. Mr Leonard again kept me in the loop without letting anyone involved bother me about any of it.
I will never delete Scott's number from my phone and will never hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or family.

Kathleen has made my nightmare of an experience much easier. My soon to be ex who adopted my daughter as a step parent changed his mind about being responsible for her once our marraige dissolved. I hired Kathleen to handle my personal injury case because I trust her. I first interviewed a 'baracuda' lawyer. He said my 'soft tissue' injury case was worth maybe $10,000. Kathleen supported my getting an MRI which showed damage. In her non-confrontational way, Kathleen established a rapport with the insurance adjuster, and settled my case (without going to trial) for $22,000. I work as a legal assistant and know many attorneys. I chose to work with Kathleen and I do not regret that decision.

Tom represented me after a bad car accident. I had injuries that required surgery and several months of physical therapy, and was also in the process of moving and starting a new job when the accident happened. Tom served as a kind and patient adviser during a stressful time.
When my medical insurance repeatedly billed me in error for treatment related to the accident, Tom's firm was able to resolve the issue and get my insurance to bill my PIP plan instead.
He negotiated the best possible injury settlement in my case in spite of low policy limits. The driver who caused the accident was covered by a notoriously cheap and difficult insurance company, and I doubt I would have received a settlement without a persistent and competent lawyer.
Tom was respectful of my priorities, in particular making sure that my settlement agreement was not harmful to the passengers in my car, who were close friends of mine who were pursing their own settlement from the at-fault driver's insurance.
Because of the policy limits involved in my case, it was never going to make a lot of money for Tom's firm, but they still provided me with excellent and thorough representation.
I highly recommend Thomas Adams.

I hired David to defend a contested restraining order that I had petitioned on an abusive person in my life, successfully. I had spoken with several offices prior to our initial phone call. Some wanted me to put down a substantial retainer before I even got to speak with one of their lawyers, some seemed eager to have me pay a relatively inexpensive rate for a quick sale on a newer/inexperienced attorney, and some needed to charge me a few hundred for the initial consultation. A couple of others gave me a free consultation but it didnt seem that they had a niche in the particular type of restraining order I had petitioned. While I respect that there are myriad business models out there, David's appealed to me because his initial consultation was free to hear me out (before I knew that I wanted to hire him), he immediately spoke with competence and wisdom regarding the particulars of my case, and his "flat fee" model was unique and attractive. His price seemed fair in the end (I could have spent less, I could have spent more) but was well justified by his experience. The fact that this case may have been dragged out into additional hours was eased by me knowing that I would never be charged for anything extra regardless of how long it took. It is my understanding that many attorneys will nickel and dime you to hire them for additional "surprise" hours and may even lie/pressure you about the false need for it, but David (who is aware of the ill-perception of attorney practices) found a creative flat-fee solution to control for this. The flat-fee structure means that he sees the job through to the end regardless of how long it takes. You know that one honest mechanic that you recommend to all of your peers because it seems that every other one out there has a history of trying to sell you extra services that you didnt need but were naive about? Well David can well be compared to that honest mechanic but for the world of lawyers. He seemed to have had an "indie" vibe to him as opposed to the mainstream giant law office lawyers I had interviewed prior to. Regardless, he was able to be confrontational to my opponent as I needed him to be and very knowledgeable. Its clear that even though I strongly considered being self-represented (which David even suggested that I reasonably could and didnt *need* to hire anyone), my case was stronger because I had him fighting it for me. The numerous amounts of evidence I had were more organized and presented to a stronger effect much to the chagrin of my opponent. I'll say it again: his price structure and business model give him more integrity than other lawyers since it removes the incentive for billing for additional "surprise" hours. There isnt any real way for him to take advantage of his clients this way and I think that that's worth its weight on its own.

Kevin Lucey is an expert with dealing with these hard to deal with insurance companies. Insurance companies would be perfectly happy to offer nothing for someone in a personal injury situation and Kevin navigated and handled the claim in a timely and efficient manner.

I went to a big party about a 12 months ago, and let's just say that I ended up in a bit of legal trouble on my drive home. I contacted Adam at the suggestion of a friend who used him before in a criminal case.
Adam met with me right away and gave me the rundown of all of my options. He was way organized, he even gave me a bunch of stuff to take home with me and read to help understand the law process a bit better. When all was said and done, things played out exactly like Adam said they would. I can't say the process was fun, because it was not, but having Adam as my lawyer made things 1000x easier. After being badly burned by another lawyer, I came to Adam and Jill hurt and angry. They were quick to respond and were amazing at trying to fix what the other lawyer had screwed up for me. Unfortunately I found them a little too late and am stuck with a lot things in my divorce that should have been avoided with a trustworthy lawyer. I loved working with them. IThe first time I was rear ended my daughter went on line and got a list of attorneys. For some reason Mr Ruffs name stood out much more than the TV attorneys so I called him. He took my case. Less than 2 months later I was rear ended again. Then 3 years later once again was rear ended. I have gone with Mr Ruff every time. I was rear-ended and as a result have permanent pain in my back. I was offered $3,000 by the at fault insurance company. I then knew that I had to hire a lawyer, but was uncertain of how to figure out who was going to be honest and look out for my best interest. I was VERY near the end of my statue of limitations with my auto accident and I got bounced around by several different firms.
