Jack Gordon of Maney & Gordon, represented me in what was one of the most difficult and heart wrenching experiences of my life; the wrongful death of my youngest daughter due to gross negligence on the part of a hospital.
Jack worked very hard and diligently for me and more importantly, for my daughter. He was so well prepared to try the case that he very much wanted to take the case to trial. As a preliminary step before trial, we entered mediation with the defendant hospital. Jack negotiated very persistently on our behalf and we were able to reach an agreeable settlement. Although no settlement could ever assuage the grief and sadness over the loss of my daughter, it did help to bring closure, knowing that those responsible for the negligence associated with my daughter’s death were held accountable and compelled to take responsibility for their actions.
I am so grateful to Jack Gordon for the genuine care, professionalism and manner in which my case was handled. Having known Jack for many years on a personal level, I immediately turned to him when I was faced with a serious legal matter in April 2015. Mr Cooper was my first time needing an attorney. He was very gentle since I was alone in a car accident that sent my car into the air and landed 1 inch from a light pole. Mark handled a speeding ticket for me. It was an expensive speeding ticket and Mark was able to get the ticket dismissed. He was very professional and made the process very easy. I had an accident in November of 2015 and I was immediately referred to Jack by a peer at work. (Goes to show he already has a great relationship with clientele). We had hired Jason to represent us after being rear ended December 2019, my husband ended up with a severe whiplash and several bulging and herniated disk throughout his spine, he needed surgery to repair the major injuries in his neck. I was already disabled, my previous injuries were aggravated because of the accident. We were not aware of any specialist in our area and asked Jason if he knew of a good doctor, we were very satisfied with the recommendation that Jason gave us, this doctor did surgery on my husband's neck that did relieve the pain. Jason Whittemore represented me for a wrongful bankruptcy dispute that required IRS tax knowledge and a substantial amount of money I owed to the IRS among several other complications. After consulting with 1/2 dozen attorneys or so, I realized this was a very specialized case that most attorneys were not willing to take or just not knowledgeable enough. I then met with Mr. Whittemore. He took my case.
Mr. Whittemore is a sharp, very responsive, attentive, professional. He always politely spoke the facts. He kept me informed at all times. The end result was that we won. I cannot praise Ashby's assistance to the heights to which he deserves! My vocabulary doesn't have enough superlative words to adequately portray how wonderful he was in handling my legal "woes". He was wonderful in every aspect of this awful "experience with a terrible moving company" concerning the moving company's destruction/"loss"(think THEFT) of my property which had supposedly been in air-conditioned storage for over two (2) years --( I was moving from my home on Marco Island, Fl to Gulf, County,Fl and required storage as I was building a new home). The moving company was AWFUL, but with Ashby's skillful work and handling of my case, I was able to receive a much higher settlement from the moving company than I ever would have without his representation. I have had occasion to deal with lawyers throughout my life--in fact, my daddy had an LLB from Cumberland Law School ( class of 1934) and received a J.D. (as you know- a Doctor of Jurisprudence) at a later time--although daddy only did Pro Bono work since he was primarily a businessman and farmer in Florida and Alabama. Anyway, Because I have been around "legal stuff" my whole life, I really appreciate when I encounter someone like Ashby who is knowledgeable , skillful, hardworking, and compassionate in dealing with my very stressful situation. He was always extremely attentive to me and my situation and even though I may have been overly upset at times, he always made me feel like I could contact him at any time for any reason. I only wish he were closer to where I live now--but I still would not hesitate to request his help in the future--distance is no hindrance in the way in which he handles legal matters. His law firm should put him on the "fast track" to being a Partner--people/lawyers like Ashby are diamonds in a too often pile of legal coal chunks, as I'm sure you know. His honor/honesty is impeccable--I'm sure Martingale-Hubbel will have an AV rating by his name--he IS an "A" lawyer--and he has the "Virtute" (virtue) to boot!! He deserves a huge raise in salary--and if your law firm is smart, you will hang on to him with "everything you've got"!!! Footnote: Because of Ashby Davis' wonderful handling of my case/situation, I gave him my deceased husband's iconic and official US Navy leather pilot's jacket from the Vietnam war era. I hope you can infer how highly I think of Ashby because I gave him the jacket my husband wore as a Navy pilot.

David Farash has been my attorney for years. I am a retired Deputy Sheriff/Detective in the Tampa Bay area. I first met David when he served as legal counsel for the Sheriff in Hillsborough County Florida. I was his investigator. I watched this fine man and the way he handled his legal duties for a long time. He is the best of the best within his profession. His knowledge and experience in law are at an expert level. He represented me when I was hit head on by a stolen car in a vehicle pursuit while I was in law enforcement. Two felons, doing robberies in a stolen car ended my career in that incident. David handled all aspects of my Workers Comp case, and also advised I file suit against my own carriers uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance carrier laughed at us. How dare us try and sue them when the stolen car that hit me caused my career ending injuries. David did not laugh, he went to work for me. Sometime later we went to trial. He took my car accident case even though a previous attorney I had years ago for another case told me it wasn't worth his time (his actual words) as I had pre-existing conditions and probably wouldn't get much at all. After the sudden loss of my husband, I met with an attorney to try to determine any action I might take. John reviewed all my landlord tenant dispute document (lease, county inspection, email and text correspondence, my narrative of the sequence of event) and gave me honest opinion that I'm at fault, advised me to settle with the tenants. It was a very emotional, frightening experience that really clouded my judgement. His honest opinion forced me to face the reality and make the right concession. I was decided to hire him for the settlement offer letter, but the tenants couldn't wait. I had to hurry up and draft the agreement myself and sign with the tenants. Nick was referred a wrongful death case involving a relative, He gave my wife's cousin excellent advice NOT to proceed with a legal action which was more likely to result in further grief than in any recovery. Normally, a personal injury lawyer will "roll the dice", hoping to coerce a settlement from a deep pockets defendant. Athought I agreed with his recommendation not to pursue the matter , my wife's cousin did not follow the advice, She was eventually forced to trial, which may have been cathartic to some extent but which was, on the whole, merely a repeat of bad memories.

I contacted Mr. Cordoba in reference to a worker’s compensation case, where I went after the other party privately. This case entailed a drunk driver who ran a stop sign, proceeding to “T-Bone” my vehicle (work vehicle) at approximately 50mph. I literally set out to find somewhere to write a review for Jim Mancuso, because he certainly earned it, so read on about our personal experience with this attorney.....
How I actually met Jim was due to the fact that Billy, my step-son, had been hanging around with the wrong crowd for some time, and unfortunately ended up in serious trouble and landed his butt in jail. Almost 2 months after he got arrested I decided to make an effort to help him versus just letting him sit there in jail, which was my initial outlook cause I figured it 'might' straighten his butt up this time, but home life drastically changed, and my wife just seemed so distant and resentful towards me that I could no longer take it.......so I gave in.
I'd consulted with several attorneys, and I'd liked Jim's attitude and outlook right away. He was very professional, and the fact that he didn't seem to be kissing butt just because I was holding his paycheck really set him apart from the others, and that was a big plus for me cause it didn't seem like a 'show'. He'd told me that he wasn't a miracle worker, nor would he pretend to be, but he would certainly do his absolute best and provide the best possible representation. Right after I'd hired him, despite the fact that his public attorney, the one they afford in jail, wasn't able to get his bail lowered, Jim was able to get his bail significantly lowered, so we'd paid his bond, he was released, and my home life became better instantly. Praise the Lord for that!
Anyways, he'd been facing a total of 5 years, and the prosecutors had been offering him something like 23 months because of his prior record. It might've been 21 months, but I'm pretty sure it was 23. Regardless of the exact number, before trial, he did make a miracle happen in our eyes because he got the prosecutors to drop his charge to something lesser, which resulted in time served (from what I understand the almost 2 months that he was in jail was counted as his total sentence).
One thing I forgot to mention is that before I'd hired Jim I'd flat-out asked, "Why do you charge so much less than the others that I'd consulted with?" He says, "Well, I understand that this is the real world, and I know that not everyone is made of money, but with that being said, the sad truth is that most people think that the more you pay for something, the better it's going to be, and that's just really not the case. The average price of a book at Barnes and Noble is probably around $14.99, but I assure you there's many books there that are just as good, if not better, priced around $9.99. Everyone deserves a defense, and I just try to make it a little more attainable, that's all." To me that was a remarkable statement, and right after that I'd wrote the check and he'd never veered from being the true professional that I'd met.
Anyways, the reason I set out to write this is because my wife is extremely happy, as am I, as Billy just left here a little while ago with my grandson, and he truly seems like a changed man with renewed hope for the future, and though I know Jim's not responsible for his change, I do factually know that he would've been going away to prison for some years without him, and for that I would very highly, without a doubt, recommend Jim to anyone who has a loved one going through hard times in the legal system!

Mr. Tison handled my case in 2013, where I was T-Boned by a drunk driver. Mr. Podolsky was able to quickly draft a legal letter after a 10 minute consultation that completely got rid of my headache with one of the largest stock photo sellers in the world. Because of a simple error made when purchasing stock photos, the company wanted to charge me $2500 for the use of three stock photos that only cost $150 Total.
