Hi all, I just wanted to take a moment to send my appreciation to the team and importantly JB Harris. Almost a year into my case we have had little to no movement due to a stalling opposition trying to drain all resource's and provide some impossible tasks. JB has been nothing short of a light at the end of the tunnel which has been very hard for me to see these past few months. After seeing JB in action today I now see why I hired your firm and felt a slight relief for the first time in a long time. We defeated their motion to dismiss which is a large victory in terms of going forward. I believe and I believe JB does as well, that the wheels of justice all though slow will prevail. Carmine was personable, attentive and friendly. Carmine and Julia treated me as a friend as well as a client. I was given timely advice and more than once that advice saved me from making emotional mistakes that could have been damaging to my case. Both Carmine and Julia spent extra time with me explaining how the process works so I could make informed decisions on how to proceed. I never had a cell phone before the divorce and Julia offered to help me with the basics of using the phone.

Once the time came to begin the process, my expectations were far exceeded. My father was an 81 year old man who spent a month in hospital (some kind of procedure every week). He almost died a couple of times. He then went to rehab for a couple of months. Immediate family and dr's agreed he needed assisted living and then possibly go home. A great niece who he may have seen twice went and got him. Within 2 months she had a new will leaving her everything. She alienated him from everyone. Less than a year he was dead. A friend called to offer me condolences a week later and that is how we found out. I went on Avvo site hunting an attorney and found Jeffrey Kuhns. He was sympathetic, professional and very knowledgeable. At our consult he advised that he couldn't do what we wanted and needed to do. He referred us to someone he knew could. I cannot say enough good things about him. Thank you Jeffrey!

I hired them cause they were all I could afford after my ex walked out with our savings account. They managed to get the job done but they're were condescending, barely communicated, canceled phone meetings if they just didn't feel like answering my questions, didn't keep me appraised of the progress and were rude and nasty and belligerent when I followed up. They seemed to care more about being buddies with my ex's lawyer than representing me fairly and fighting for me. It was a traumatic divorce already made worse by their attitude. If you can afford any other lawyer, do it. Don't use these guys unless you like being abused and are really desperate for your divorce to be finalized (I was).

I am so grateful to Deeb Elder Law. My mother had always been a very independent (read stubborn) lady until COVID 19. She was so ill and was hospitalized several times, but amazingly recovered. Still it took so much away from her mental and physical capacity. It also required her to move to a long-term care facility.

I had to deal with an guardianship accounting issue dating back to 2005. I visited multiple lawyers prior to meeting Ms. Woods and found that they really didn't seem to have a full grasp of what needed to be done to properly file the guardianship accounting paperwork.
Within ten minutes of our initial meeting, it was clear Ms. Woods knew the exact steps to take to get the paperwork in proper order. She was able to give my wife and I very specific instructions on the paperwork we would need, the paperwork she would need and the paperwork the court would need. She also asked us questions we didn't know to ask and that none of the other lawyers even brought up.
With her guidance and the assistance of her associates Karen and Norma, we were able to get all of the paperwork put together in a couple of weeks (which is even more impressive when noting these were holiday weeks). The paperwork has now been properly filed with the court and we now know how and when to get this paperwork filed for future years.
I cannot begin to stress how much peace of mind having someone who knows the process as well as Ms. Woods does can provide. I would highly recommend her for any family law matter.

I 'm from out of state residing temporarily in corporate apartments and was in need of a Power of Attorney. Thank goodness there was a neighborhood lawyer less than a mile away that provided the service that I needed, Mrs./Miss Marcella was that lawyer. She even answered by e-mail on Sunday afternoon concerning my POA.. The next day after work my POA was ready and my wife was very happy when she received the POA the next following day. Also a UPS Store was in the neighborhood. Now how convenient is that. Two birds with one stone. If you live around the Town Square Market at River city in Jacksonville you are very lucky to have this Lawyers service at your door step. By all means please stop in and give her a visit.

There are always two sides to every story, as indicated by the reviews and responses. I can only give you my perception and outcome from my dealings with Mrs. Taylor. First, I called to schedule an appointment with a "lawyer for people with limited income" and the fee was $295 per hour, now let me assure you I have never paid that amount of money in any of my appointments with Mrs. Taylor. Now, I'm sure someone will say, "you get what you pay for", in this case, I would say, "Board certified". In my opinion, Mrs. Taylor simplifies everything by telling you the bottom line. I would recommend Mrs. Taylor and if she isn't able to return your call right away, call again or better yet pay $300 or more per hour for the same law advice. In addition, I have in the past called for legal advice in which I will not mention names and I still have not heard back. In conclusion, Mrs. Taylor is, in my opinion, an honest and caring person with years of attorney experience. She is the first lawyer you should call if she can't help you she will tell you.

I found Alan on AVVO just out of pure luck, thank God. Better lucky than smart. He has been my savior. I purchased a property with numerous title faults, and had I not found Alan, it would still be a mess. I would have had to sell the property for a huge loss, if I would have been able to sell it. The number of attorneys that could have solved this mess, nor wanted to tackle it, is extremely limited.
Attorney Raines is a highly competent and skilled legal expert. Ive worked with a number of attorneys in my career at a major institutional investment house in Pittsburgh, and attorney Raines far outshines the others. He is great at cutting to the heart of the problem, as persistent as a terrier, and thrives on complex litigation. He's a tough negotiator and ALWAYS acts in your interest. His judgement is keen. Mr. Hersch obviouly has the technical expertise. However he has an easy to understand explanation of complex estate planning matters. After identifying what I needed, the documents were prepared, explained and summarized in a manor that allowed easy understanding. Copies of documents were organized in a binder along with a CD copy and instructions clearly noted. He has a program to monitor any changes that might be needed each year, which gives me confidence that my plans will be updated if necessary. I would recommend him highly.

After my father passed away unexpectedly in 2019, I immediately began the work of acting as his personal representative. Unfortunately, my father had no legal Will which led to a contested estate. The estate attorney I hired initially was not interested in handling litigation filed by another heir, and recommended David Garten for the job. Calling David Garten was the best decision I could have made.
David Garten is an expert in Florida State Estate Law. He is a litigation attorney who handles contested estates and defends his clients with zeal. He exudes the calm confidence and total professionalism of an expert in his field. There are none of the blustering or hyperbolic statements that you will find with unqualified attorneys who are just trying to get your business. David will never leave you with a false sense of confidence on any issue. David’s credentials are impeccable, and he is a regular contributor to Florida State Bar Association publications. David’s staff is top notch and well organized, a sure sign of an excellent attorney. I also found David and his staff to be approachable and easy going, not stuffy or hard to communicate with as some attorney’s offices can be.
David’s work on my father’s estate was exemplary. He successfully negotiated settlements and diffused or won the unnecessary litigation brought against the estate. At one point David parlayed a pre-trial deposition into a settlement that enabled me to continue my work to close the estate without interruption. This is one of many examples of David’s expert handling of my father’s estate. David is very cost conscious and employs other Estate Attorneys to handle the more routine aspects of estate administration. You can rest assured that you won’t be gouged. David’s calm approach to angry opposing counsel, random unnecessary litigation, and wary nerve-wracked clients, was incredibly reassuring as we worked through various issues.
I would highly recommend David Garten to represent you if you are the executor or personal representative of a contested estate. In fact, I would say that if relatives are likely to litigate after the loss of a loved one, skip the standard Estate Attorneys and call David Garten for the representation that you really need.

I was living out-of-state when notified of my estranged husband's death. I needed to be advised and represented by an attorney who was familiar with Florida's state statutes for elective shares regarding the surviving spouse. My situation required a lot of special research. David made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was covered. He kept me appraised of the current status, even though there were time issues holding up our progress. Given the circumstances of my case, I felt David was attentive, personable and gave my case the required attention to detail needed. After being victimized by several other attorneys regarding Trusts, Elder Law and Guardianship I did extensive research prior to finding a West Palm Beach attorney with the expertise and experience of David M. Garten, Esq. He was very responsive regarding scheduling and thoroughly knowledgeable in his field of law. He was always sympathetic and concerned to act in my best interest. His fees were reasonable and there was never a suspicion that his time billed was inflated. Hiring Mr. Garten actually turned out to be an extremely excellent value when at our first meeting he suggested he would, and actually did notify my insurers who ended up carrying a significant portion of my case with Mr. Garten's supervision. I now know how fortunate I was to have been represented by such a caring, compassionate, and expert attorney.
