As a family law attorney, I have used Ms. Chernoff many times as a mediator. I highly recommend her as a family law mediator. She is prompt, knowledgeable of the law and effective. Family law matters are always contentious and no one is happy but as a professional I see her working hard to settle difficult matters. Take the reviews written by clients in the context of people going through difficult times and expecting unrealistic results with a grain of salt. They don't want to hear opinions that differ from their mind set.

Ms. Newberry has helped with quite a few legal issues. The first was a violation of probation for my DUI. At court the only thing I asked for my Public Defender to do for me was have it to where i could work off my fines in court costs, which was accepted by the judge. When I reported to probation they had no record of this and when I was informed by my probation officer and public defender that there was nothing I could do I turned to Ms. Newberry for council. She met with the state attorney and I was then able to work off my fines in community service hours. Ms. Newberry kept me informed of what was going on the whole time and always got back to me when I had questions in a timely matter. They also violated me for probation when my scheduled counseling went longer then my probation through no fault of my own but the facility I was required to go to was backed up. Ms. Newberry was there to help me by telling me what documents to acquire for my hearing so I wouldnt get punished for the violation.
Most recently I had an incident occur where I felt that the law was not on my side. (Police officers) I felt powerless. But after meeting with Ms. Newberry shes made me feel like I can fight it. Shes very knowledgeable and passionate about her work and explains the laws to me in ways that I can understand them.
I would definitely recommend Ms. Newberry for council. She cares about her clients and makes you feel like you're a priority and not just another case number.

Mr. Boyd was my attorney thorough one of the most stressful times of my life, the foreclosure of my home. I do not live in Florida and that made choosing a Florida attorney a little more difficult. A Florida family member had passed passed away late in 2014 and we needed to probate the Florida estate. We ended up retaining Mr. Mast after speaking to a number of attorneys. He was by far the most candid and most reasonable. The estate was not particularly complicated and Mr. Mast did not try to embellish or justify why he needed to charge an inflated fee. His fee was most reasonable and his final bill was exactly where he projected it would be. It was refreshing not to hear an attorney "sales pitch" - a tactic that other florida attorneys used to try to justify why their fees should be higher.
He was knowledgeable and always promptly responded to our questions. He filed all papers in a timely manner.
I have no hesitation in recommending him and I am very glad we retained his services.

I was pulled over for a seatbelt violation. I gave the officer my valid Florida license issued to me a month prior. Three Naples cop cars took 45 minutes to write me 3 tickets - driving with a suspended license, using a license from another state while my Florida license is suspended, and a seatbelt violation. They actually wrote the tickets with my Texas license info which apparently they figured was suspended, though I gave them my valid Florida license, which they kept. I was issued another valid Florida license a day later at the DMV after disclosing what happened.
I have used Avvo before and it has been magnificent. This time however, I met with six of the top rated criminal defenders in Naples. If I actually got to meet with them and not a subordinate: at most, they asked a few questions and focused on highlighting the problems I faced followed by high demands for retainer. Of the six I met with, only one was actually going to take the case himself.
I was close to spending way too much for way too little, but got a letter from Denise in the mail urging me to call her. When I did, she personably legitimized my innocence when I told her my situation and was the first to give me confidence in the approach to my case then gave me the most reasonable quote of anyone. When I met with her the next morning, she was far sharper and more honest than any other attorney and asked questions that no one else did. We established a great approach and she highlighted why it will most likely be dismissed, a far more honest response than any other attorney in town.
Two weeks later, at the arraignment this morning, everything was dismissed. I am honored to be her first AVVO review as I hope my experience warrants you to give her a call. Denise Michelle Tyler is legit, the smartest and most honest I met with in town and is building a practice that will be huge, so get her while you can. In a town filled with whales, this attorney is a shark.
