I purchased an investment property in Ft Myers 2005. With the banks approval I tried to short sell the property, upon receipt of a sale they couldn't find who actually held the mortgage. I defaulted in 2009. In 2013 the PMI company initiated a proceeding via several different law/collection agencies. Mr.. Gregory Champeau, esq. defended me as they had also decided to seek financial reimbursement from my wife who wasn't legally part of the transaction. He was successful in that the judgement would only apply to me. My assets were all TBE (except for one) which prevented collection. In 2019 the collections agency became more aggressive, Patrick Neale, esq, was brought in as his expertise in addressing various attempted garnishments and his litigation skills were needed to address various court hearings initiated by the collections agency. It was discovered that an investment account me and my wife opened in 2005 was set up as Joint Ownership with Survivor Benefits. Unbeknownst to me a JWROS account is not afforded the same level of protection as a TBE account. Mr Neale was able to draw upon case law and present it in a fashion that helped to bring closure. The end result is that with Patrick Neale's legal expertise and Mr Gregory Champeau negotiations skills I did agree upon a favorable settlement. The only other option was to be continuously harassed by the collections agency for years to come.

Tom did some work for us setting up an LLC and drafting real estate contracts. He is younger for Naples, but extremely knowledgeable and a real go getter. This work was small potatoes for Tom who is a fantastic litigator, but he still handled our needs with care and was very responsive/easy to work with. I know Tom has already had a great career litigating some big cases in the court room and am sure he will continue to find success through his hard work, intelligence, and deep understanding of the law. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was introduced to and ultimately engaged attorney Tom Rinaldi to represent me for a small claims dispute. Jim and his firm are very epensive so you would think that they'd be responsive. It generally took 5+ emails before I'd get a reply. He rarely did what he said he was going to do, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find another attorney as I'd invested my time and a couple grand with them already. I guess he and his firm have enough work to do where the simple things, like replying to and informing clients, isnt high on his list.

He’ll talk a good game until it’s time to act on it, and then you’re left with $10,000 less in your account and someone who bent you over the table. And no, not in the fun way! Not only did we have a slam dunk case, which he said from the beginning, he failed to actually follow through retaining information and pursuing further. He just took the $$ and that was it.

Kevin Lottes was hired to close the sale of my condominium in Naples Florida and file my application for FIRPTA. After telling me he had extensive. experience in this area he not only failed to make the necessary application in a timely manner, he failed to intercede on my behalf when problems occurred with an opposing counsel and passed on my file to someone else in his firm without notifying me and never responded further to any emails. I am now having to wait perhaps up to a year to recover tens of thousands dollars from the IRS unnecessarily. Based on this experience I cannot recommend this lawyer.

He was not aware of the details in my case after having my case file on his desk for couple of months. He would not return my phone calls. I met this person for the first time during my court date, five minutes before being called in front of the judge, after sitting in the court room for two hours and watching his unprofessinalism and disorganization with the rest of all his other clients called up before me. We spoke brifely for less then 5 minute and he had the odasaty to cut me off and not hear anything I had to say and we took off on the wrong terms right from the start. I will never recommend him to anyone ever.
