Guy Louie Criminal defense attorney back in 2015 He was able to get me the lightest sentence possible four months jail time on the weekends +5 year probation. What can I say about Russell and Logan, along with Anna Yum and the rest of the incredible team....they saved my life and got me back home to my family!
From the start Russell was very skeptical and realistic of my charges, and the likelihood that things would go my way. As our relationship grew and more details and facts about the case came out, things slowly started to change. He and Logan really started to believe in me.
As the case kept going, with the DAs reluctance to see this for what it was, Russell, Logan and Anna, continued to have the difficult talks of the realities and risks of continuing on towards trial, and not agreeing to take a plea deal for something I was innocent of. I appreciated their willingness to have the hard talks. It was an incredibly horrible position to be in, but with their belief in me, it helped me push forward. Unfortunately the DA did push things to trial.
Right from the start of trial, I couldn't help but feel confident. From Russell's unmatched experience, and his incredible mind that is always thinking of every angle and working non stop, to Logan's cool, calm presence and complete control of the courtroom. They were the perfect team! They bounced questions and ideas off each other the entire trial. Their preparation showed every step of the way. They were always courteous to the judge, related things to jurors, had great questioning of the witnesses, and came out on top with every exchange with the DA.
Results were unanimous not guilty verdict within one hour of deliberations!
Russell and Logan were total rock stars from start to finish. Anna Yum was amazing and knew exactly the right pair to assign to take on my case. 5 stars in every way!!
I would not only refer them to any one I know that finds themselves needing a defense lawyer, but I would not let them go with anyone else!

I used this firm to assist in the acquisition and bill of sale of a small business. They were awesome. Our close cycled was with in 45 days and Richard was always available for questions and new drafts. (We worked weekends when needed, but not sure this is always available). Richard is intense and very keen on the details. I wont need another firm in the future!

Lisa intentionally tried to instill fear into me regarding the potential outcomes of a Restraining Order and then charged me nearly $10,000 but did nothing. The case was dismissed by the judge and she was not even in court. She literally met with me for one hour and that was it. I won't forget what she did. I strongly do not recommend anyone use her.

Initially I wanted to give 1 star, but ultimately, I am grateful that attorney Jason Stones was very responsive to me during a time of desperation, extreme stress, and panic- whereas my previous attorney kept me completely in the dark about everything- even as my child custody hearing rapidly approached. He was also able to get my ex's attorney to agree to a PPA with only days to spare until my trial commenced.
Now for the negatives:
During the initial hearing, my ex's attorney was making what felt like direct and personal attacks against me to which I felt didn't get enough pushback from Jason. I didn't feel like he was for me as hard as he should have been.
He also never made a reply declaration to my ex's reply.
My ex made several terrible allegations against me, which resulted in me being investigated by Social Services. Jason didn't do the work to speak with the social worker to find out what the conclusion of that investigation was, or obtain a copy of the report from that investigation. Luckily, I did, and the reports conclusions completely refuted my ex's allegations. After I read the report, I told Jason that we should be submitting this to the court. His response was that we couldn't do that because this was "not an evidentiary hearing."
For me, that was the last straw and I moved on to another law firm with attorney's that DID submit a reply declaration to my ex and DID submit the report from Social Services. I'm not sure how they were able to submit the report even though this was supposedly not an evidentiary hearing. Funnily enough, that very report was brought up repeatedly by the Judge as she admonished my ex for withholding my son from me and now, thanks to a different firm, I have had my visitation restored and joint custody established.

I Would avoid this lawfirm! I contacted this law firm and was informed that the lawyers were currently at lunch. I was advised to fill out a request for a follow-up on their website. Subsequently, I received an email stating that they were not interested in taking on my case. It is important to note that they did not inquire about any details or specifics regarding my situation. As a result, I reached out to another attorney who demonstrated a genuine interest in my case by asking relevant questions and demonstrating a clear understanding of the matter. This attorney is now actively pursuing my case.

BEST LAW FIRM.
Hi everyone, my name is Karen. I have had an accident on last year in LA.I was driving a rental vehicle and the rent a car company was suing me for that accident.
I have talk you more than 50 lawyers, and only Greg took the case.
When I was talking and explaining the situation to different lawyers, each of them were saying that they won't be able to work with it.
I'm not gonna write all the details here, because it will take 1 full day.
Long story short. Greg won it, and dismissed the case.

"Wild accusations, sloppy detective work, overworked understaffed DA office's "charge first-investigate later" approach got me arrested. My life turned upside down. Lost reputation, job, visa, savings, and property due to unsubstantiated allegations. Luckily, I hired Top rated attorney Riccardo earlier on after doing free initial consultation. He explained everything very clearly. He worked diligently with the detective to prevent charges from being filed; however, the prosecutor's office didn't consider the information Riccardo was giving them. They went ahead and charged me. Based on the facts of my case, Riccardo said I should not have been charged in the first place and will get the charges dismissed ASAP. He delivered on his promise. The case was dismissed well before the preliminary hearing stage. Riccardo and his partner are working on getting the records sealed/motion for factual innocence. I strongly recommend him, he can and will get the best outcome based on the facts of your case. This dude responded to all my queries via email in minutes even on long weekends. I am extremely pleased with his work.I will add an update about record sealing/Factual Innocence in the next few months. Never again will I hire this firm. My case was a few years ago but it was with this same firm and with Mr. Valencia himself. On the phone he mentioned good things like getting the best results for me possible and possibly getting the charges dropped. All good things you want to hear as a person searching for an attorney but that's not how it went. This guy showed up late to every single one of my court dates by half and or more. He pretty much just showed up to do what I was supposed to do, which is stand before the judge and respond to his requests. I have a prior criminal record so I wasn't expecting him to make magic but at least show up to my court date on time which he did not. All matters were called first who had attorneys but sure enough mine waited until he got there. I feel I would've gotten the same results without him for sure as he did very little communicating with the DA or anyone on the other side of the podium. To top it off on my last court date after not seeing him for over half an hour I called his firm and they informed me he was in redwood city helping someone else. Seriously not cool at all or professional. So they sent another attorney from his office but not until an hour and a half from when the court started. I'm not here to complain about my outcome from the court cause that was a separate issue but i am here to complain about the unprofessional relationship I had with Mr. Valencia and how I will never recommend or reach out to them again. So save your money or go elsewhere because I wasted $4000 for something I could've and should've done myself. Last but not least I think it's very unprofessional how in most of the reviews that are not favored to them they put the person on blast for the previous case they had with them. That's very rude, unprofessional and down right dirty. If they do not like the truth being put in the reviews then maybe they should not be practicing law and giving people false hope. So I won't be surprised if I see information about my case they handled on here based on the responses to reviews that aren't in their favor.

In November last year, based on online reviews, I started consulting with Riccardo. At the beginning, he was quite patient. I consulted several lawyers and eventually chose him based on online reviews and his claim during the consultation that there was a 99% chance of winning the case. I felt relieved to leave the case to him. However, after we paid him, he stopped communicating and never proactively kept in touch.
At first, I thought my case was not a big deal until I was charged and realized the seriousness of the situation. I spent money consulting another lawyer online, who advised me to write a character letter and resume before being charged, which could have helped. But Riccardo never asked me to do anything besides providing basic materials. He was also unwilling to communicate proactively, and I didn't dare to keep asking him questions. Whenever I had questions, they were relayed through his assistant.
Throughout this period, he didn't inform me of what he was doing, and I had no idea about his actions until my case became more severe. He didn't help me much during the whole process and even made excuses, saying the DA was too young to understand family difficulties, which made me feel he was very unprofessional. I had trusted him because he claimed to have 30 years of experience.
After my case resulted in a conviction, I didn't disrespect him until a week ago when I asked if he could attend court on that day. He agreed, and I was very grateful. But today, when I asked him, he angrily told me he was very busy. He could have refused me or informed me earlier. Instead, he made a lot of excuses.
I swear that this person is really unprofessional, and I even doubt if those positive reviews about him are real. I know that when someone makes a mistake and needs professional help, they might go online and look at reviews. If you don't want to waste your time and risk losing your case, you really need to be cautious and not rely solely on ratings. From my experience, sometimes they are not reliable. This is my personal experience working with this person, and I hope to share it with those who need help. I fully understand your feelings, but it's crucial to be careful when choosing a lawyer.

He took the case but did nothing to help, he knew the court would rule in alignment the mediators recommendation. He showed up to court and delayed the proceeding by 4 hours to milk the hourly rate. He asked the judge for breaks to talk to me and the other party then started to make request on behalf of the other party. I wish I knew Iim advance he would be of no assistance, money down the drain. The other party made false allegations and scheduled an emergency hearing under false pretenses. Gary's advice be the better parent.

To anyone in need of an attorney like my husband and I were, I would HIGHLY recommend Kraut Law Group.
We were in desperate need of an attorney after coming home one day and receiving some disturbing information that could jeopardize my husband’s livelihood and future schooling prospects. He searched online for hours trying to get in touch with a lawyer or anyone that could offer him legal advice and the ONLY group that he was able to get through to was Kraut Law Group.
They had us come in immediately the next day. We were both a bit worried since neither of us had ever had to use a lawyer before, but our fears were soon put to rest when we started working with the associates at Kraut Law Group. Everyone was incredibly personable and professional. Our expectations were blown away by how attentive they were in keeping us up to date every step of the way as things developed in our case. I had a hearing with the state board of nursing. The attorney I hired was a disappointment . He was totally unprepared, he kept asking for time during the hearing to review documents. I was not prepared, because I depended on my hired attorney. The few interactions we had prior to the hearing, he was more interested in if I wired his money, than on the evidence. The irony was is I had another attorney who was much less expensive, but I was not happy with the possible outcome.However Mr Khouri assured me he could do better, so I hired him. What a big mistake!!! After the disaster outcome, I called him about the follow up that the board wanted, he was quite uninterested. After contacting this law firm several times, I decided to go in for a consultation. Klarich, kept asking about the $250 Consultation Fee, multiple times and it was really annoying. Finally the day comes to consult at his office in Tustin, CA. The first thing he ask, guess what, yep the consultation fee. $250, this guy must not get a lot of action, because of the constant request of the $250. Now in all fairness he may have looked up the case info in regards to the History of Retained Attorneys and like all dishonest attorneys do, the lie. So previous attorneys would promise certain things and if they do not deliver then they are not getting paid. Like the 1st Attorney of Record was given $28,000 but requested $80,000 on Amended Charges and then this attorney had purposely colluded with the District Attorney and then we had fired him, then the next time in front of a Judge, he files a motion to withdraw and the Judge said, I do not think so, it was solely up to us to keep the attorney but who wants a sellout, so we let the attorney withdraw and he refunded $5000 for us to obtain another attorney. My stock portfolio reflects an earning of $250 every 20 minutes of an 8 hour day. This guy Klarich gets all stoked of $250, that shows me where his mindset is. He is researching and possibly even calling previous attorney's and checking the record so he considers this being protective but the truth is, that is all this guy thinks about, money, if he would have spent more time focused on the issues at hand we may have moved forward with this firm, besides it was the partner's son who I was more interested in and they give us this guy who is a total know it all but truthfully does not know much about the appellant process, yeah maybe general stuff but even I know that, but everything he said in reference to our questions was nothing new that we didn't already know. Also, since attorney's may look at the History of Cases, it would be only fair to look up the attorney's record or how many successful appeals an attorney may have and after the consultation, I did just that and for the amount of confidence he had shown does not reflect much in his success in the appellant courts realm but then again, not even the best of attorney's have any type of a successful record, but that is the nature of the beast in the appellant world.

My wife was facing felony gun charges & an aggressive DA's office. The 1st attorney we hired was unacceptable. He accomplished nothing with the DA, was pessimistic about the case & tried to pressure my wife into pleading to serious charges. Sam took charge from the get go, had a balanced view of the case & worked with the DA to make them see the serious flaws in their case. First Sam got the charges reduced to a misdemeanor & then got the DA to agree to dismiss the charges without my wife pleading to anything. Excellent result, Sam!
