I hired Vincent based on good reviews and a referral from a friend. His rate seemed reasonable, so I decided to work with him. Our initial conversation was smooth, although brief, and I felt confident moving forward. I paid the retainer on 8/17, and he promptly filed the initial form on 8/19. When he informed me that papers were served on 8/27 and the respondent had 30 days to respond, I thought things were progressing well.
However, my positive impression quickly faded. I followed up with him on 9/11 and 9/18 without any response. He finally called on 9/19, four hours late, and reassured me that “everything was fine.” When I questioned why he hadn’t filed the proof of service of summons, he brushed it off, saying it wasn’t necessary to file it right away and would handle it later. He advised waiting until mid-October, to which I agreed.
From there, communication became nonexistent. I followed up on 10/14 with no reply and reached out again on 10/24, 10/25, and 10/28—still nothing. Aside from filing the initial paper with the court, he has done absolutely nothing further on my case. When I contacted the courthouse myself, I learned that my case had been left completely unattended, with the court even requesting a status update due to inactivity.
Vincent’s behavior was not only unresponsive but also unprofessional at every turn. Missing scheduled calls, failing to provide updates, and ignoring my questions demonstrated a lack of respect for my time and trust. He even used a personal “gmail.com” email account instead of a professional one, which, looking back, was an early red flag. His entire approach felt more like a one-man show than a legitimate law firm.
Vincent comes off as convincing and charming on the phone (when you can reach him), but if you’re looking for someone who will swiftly take a retainer, make empty promises, and waste your time, he’s your guy. I wasted two months trusting that he was working on my case while, in reality, he had abandoned it. Now I’m forced to dismiss the case he filed and start over—an unfortunate setback given the lengthy court process.
Please beware of Vincent when choosing a lawyer to represent your case. His unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and disregard for his clients’ time make him a poor choice if you need real legal representation.

My initial impression of Kathleen was very positive—she came across as competent, driven, and solution-oriented. I spent months organizing and sourcing all my court paperwork at her request, which was the hard part of the process. However, once I completed this, the experience went downhill quickly.
Her 'team' began giving me the runaround. I reached out over six times to get an appointment, and they canceled multiple times. Despite this, I gave grace, trusting my first impression of Kathleen. After yet another cancellation, they said I would have to wait until the new year to be seen. I requested a date for 2025, booked months in advance, but the appointment came and went without any communication from her office.
I reached out to express my disappointment over the wasted months of effort on a sensitive case not to mention the $800 consult fee, urging Kathleen to do better. Her response was dismissive—claiming her staff said I had new representation (which is false) and that she is not taking 'new' clients. There was not even an apology for the months of wasted time, lack of communication, or the sheer number of follow-ups I had to initiate.
This was a deeply disappointing experience, marked by unprofessionalism and poor taste. I cannot recommend Kathleen based on my experience.

I was hit by an SUV while walking in 2021. Mr Raven told me he could get me over $100,000. Without going to court he knew I didn’t want to go to court He said he could negotiate with insurance companies so that I wouldn’t have to pay them any money. It wasn’t until mid 2024, that Ted fully explained-that insurance companies can demand money back when you use your insurance when you’ve had an accident.And I started getting bills from my insurance co in 2022. I even had to pay interest! I had to send him my information more than once as his Assistant misplaced the documents that I originally sent. And he dropped the ball. There were some follow-up visits that were necessary for me to have explaining how the damage to one leg impacted my ability to walk and resulted in me, needing to have surgery on the other leg, and also exacerbated the original leg injured by being hit by the SUV. He’s very unorganized and when he and if your cases isn’t worth a lot of money, he’ll stop communicating with you wound up with $16,000. He wound up with $22. He charges 45% and we had talked about him not taking 45% given the errors that he made, but he still charged me 45%, because he said he had to file the case in court, but we never went to court. He only agreed to reduce it to just 40% if I didn’t post my negative review. So beware, there may be lots of positive reviews but I guarantee you he negotiated to avoid the negative ones. I would just stay away. He's not organized And he’s not honest.

Raven Law is an amazing law firm. As a small business, Ted Raven delivers an absolutely amazing personal touch. Ted would always return my calls and explain things to me thoroughly and clearly to the point that I was never left with any questions. Even though I had medical insurance through Kaiser and Medi-Cal, they were both asking for large sums of money from my settlement that Ted was able to negotiate and bring down significantly, to the point that I was able to get a larger settlement for myself. I would absolutely recommend Raven law to anybody who is looking for an injury lawyer. It was so nice actually talking to an attorney and not just people relaying messages for an attorney. I hope I'm never in a position where I have to have an injury lawyer again... But if I do... Ted will be my first phone call. When I started working with Supreeta, my employer was trying to "manage me out" after an expensive surgery (they were self-insured). Unlike other attorneys I had contacted, Supreeta was willing to help me pursue my objectives, which originally was to stay employed and to obtain fair treatment. WhenI was eventually terminated, she was willing to take on what was a very messy case against a very uncooperative and dissembling legal team, and she steered me to an excellent outcome through mediation without having to file, which I think was the best solution for me personally. Supreeta believed in me even when I did not have any witnesses and she always had my best interests in mind. I would recommend her very highly to anyone dealing with workplace discrimination. It was an extremely stressful process for us and her combination of expertise and caring was critical to getting us through.

I highly recommend Vanessa and Dolan Law Firm. After being injured on my bike and hospitalized by a careless motorist, my expectations for any kind of justice or settlement were low because I did not have the motorist’s name or information. Despite not having high hopes, I filled out Dolan’s intake web portal with the details of my injury event. After some phone conversations, I met with Emile Davis at their Oakland office (this was prior to Vanessa joining their team) to discuss the accident, and Emile walked me through the different scenarios and outcomes I could expect, which was very helpful and informative for me as someone who had never taken any previous legal action. Vanessa connected with me soon after she joined the Dolan Law team, and she was professional and clear about how she was going to move my case along. After my medical treatments concluded, Vanessa worked to put together a strongly documented and effective case and kept me informed the whole time. Vanessa’s willingness and commitment to my case was reassuring for me, especially considering the fact that at that point some time had passed and we had still not yet managed to track down the motorist who had injured me, and my hopes for a just resolution were dwindling. I was later incredibly relieved when Vanessa and the Dolan Law team succeeded in finding the motorist’s identity and then brought the necessary documentation and paperwork to the company that the motorist had been driving for. I was later awarded a settlement amount that was significantly more than I had realistically expected. I have no experience with other law firms, but I can say in summary that Vanessa and the Dolan Law team were responsive, committed and transparent with me from beginning to end, and I got a much better outcome than I had anticipated.

Christine Adams supported me during a particularly tenuous time, in the aftermath of the pandemic and after a prolonged, painful and incredibly debilitating experience with discrimination and retaliation. She is brilliant, dedicated and highly skilled at what she does. Her intelligence, exactitude, thoroughness, (appropriate/advantageous) aggressiveness, and expediency are traits I sought and hoped for in a high-quality attorney. Those altogether make her an excellent lawyer. But what I did not expect to encounter in this relationship, what I truly appreciate and am most deeply impacted by - is her genuine integrity, humanity and compassion. From the beginning to the end, she listened to me, and considered me as an individual. She was attentive, receptive, caring, efficient, strategic and diligent. Particularly for my case, it was an alleviation and inspiration to have someone on my side who really saw me, and honored my convictions and motivations for pursuing my claim. Christine was always clear, direct and fair. She followed through with what she said she would, and cogently explained the steps and strategies involved throughout the process. She helped me see some truths I was not aware of, which allowed me to objectively evaluate my claim. Listen Cortney pulls no punches and honestly should get into politics because she will debate you into your next life if your coming against her client. Having her on my side made me feel lucky cause I would hate being on the receiving end of her questioning. She's professional and scary because again if she's fighting for you, you are gonna start praying those coming against you have tissues for the tears they might cry after she is done with them. The best thing about Cortney is even though she takes no bull and is passionate about defending you, she also makes you feel so protected and thought of. You will NEVER find a lawyer like this who cares about your rights rather than what they would earn. I had no idea what I was doing when I was looking for attorney, but what sold me was their slogan, "Women fighting for women." I knew immediately I made the right choice when Cortney and her firm reached out to me only 15 min after I emailed them! They were very caring when listening to my sexual harassment incident at work and were concerned for my wellbeing. I was constantly checked on and asked how I was doing through the course of the case and even offered to help pay for my therapy when I had trouble obtaining a therapist from my own doctors office! When I discovered that my former employer had fabricated complete lies about my conduct at work and attempted to slander my name and also succeeded in getting my rightful unemployment denied to me I was at a complete loss of what to do.
I called a number of lawyers who were all dismissive and/or told me I didn't have a case. I was starting to feel really disheartened and didn't think there would be a way out of this and that my former company would get away with all of these heinous untruths and lack of justice.
Then - Assaf called me back after leaving a message at his firm.
He was incredibly willing and open to speak to me and hear all of the particulars of the case completely. His energy was fantastic and he said we have a case!
Throughout the weeks leading up to the hearing he was always available and we spoke many times and he was always willing to give me an enormous amount of his time and energy.
He guided me through the entire process and helped me to see what was important and what wasn't in regards to the case.
On the day of the hearing we were prepared and ready and we laid out the entire truth of the whole situation to the judge.
A few days later we got the decision - we had won!
I honestly don't believe I would have made it without him because he was emotionally supportive and prevented me from giving up. His fee was reasonable and his willingness to work with my financial situation was admirable.
He was pretty much fantastic. He also helped me to keep all of my integrity and honesty and we won fair and square.

I had been ripped off by my previous employers, and for a whole year, they refused to answer a demand letter sent to them by the first attorney. When I got to Mr. Assaf Lichtash, he was very welcoming and positive about getting me my unpaid wages. In a short time, he sent communication to the parties and aggressively pursued the case. They would use underhanded tactics like failing to reply in time, until he took them court. They finally agreed to settle out of court, and Mr. Lichtash successfully negotiated a reasonable settlement on my behalf.
I am really grateful to him, his wonderful staff, and the professional manner in which he handled case.

After a rotten six month expired product shattered one of my teeth, the Grocery chain store (name of Richie Cunningham's ginger friend). .. promised to help, but ended up stalling and blowing me off... Don stepped in and got results. I appreciate the opportunity to share my unfortunate experience with Dolan Law Firm. I also appreciate the time the case manager, Mercedes, took to briefly listen to my concerns. I didn't expect to receive services from Dolan Law Firm from the questions I was asked during the information (intake) gathering. I messaged them since their website was advertised on another website as a possible law firm for civil rights cases. I read their reviews and a lot of reviews seem to be accident (personal injury) cases. Possibly there's a quota that needs to be fulfilled or the documentation that was requested that I emailed to the case manager was reviewed and or searched possibly for a statement regarding a accident and or personal injury, I am uncertain. I would have preferred to have received an email message regarding the type of case(s) the law firm is/was currently interested in taking.I realize not every person and or potential clients can be 'pleased'. However, the few negative reviews listed for this law firm have concerning and possibly valid points that I think potential clients may (or may not) want to consider. I did not receive services from this company/law firm, so I would not recommend this company to a friend or colleague.

While we are in the process of appealing an EDD case, I am confident that the result will be what could have been expected by any attorney.
