I hired Ms. Mock to defend me in a debt collection lawsuit. I was unsure about having to pay a retainer because I never needed a lawyer before, but it was worth it. The credit card company's lawsuit against me was settled within 3 months and I don't have to declare bankruptcy now. It was a big relief to be able to ask my attorney questions and get answers quickly through the whole process.

My issue was a real-estate one, involving a not-so-amicable break-up and a co-owned house.
I spoke with five different lawyers before selecting one for my case, and Mr. Belong was the only one that I had a gut reaction telling me to hire him. In our initial consultation conversation he listened to everything I had to say, clearly took in all the information and gave me his opinions on what kind of case I had and how he would proceed. It was a really stressful situation for me but I felt an immediate sense of relief after hiring Mr. Belong because I could tell he not only knows his stuff, he is also caring and compassionate (not a hint of arrogance or self-importance).
Mr. Belong always took the time to hear me out and give me the best legal path forward. I could tell he wanted to get this done as quickly as possible with the best possible outcome for me – he was thorough yet efficient. Throughout the process he would discuss various approaches with me, listen to my thoughts on them, and would answer as many questions as I could throw at him. It felt like a collaborative effort…and when I was overwhelmed or truly didn’t have an opinion, I always trusted him to make the best choice for me.
It was a nightmare of a situation but Mr. Belong did everything he could to help me resolve the issue, and in the end I did get a settlement I believe is fair and is what I was hoping for. My mother and I went to Mr. Belong to help us with a dispute regarding a lien on my property and the refusal of my insurance company to take responsibility for their mistake in granting title without a thorough check for outstanding distresses on the property. Mr. Belong was the first attorney who listened to our problem, acknowledged our stress and anxiety and promptly began to help us find solutions. He appeared knowledgable of the applicable laws and ordinances as well as pragmatic in his actions. He was aware of our financial concerns and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help us. He took up our case the same day as our initial phone consultation on a Friday and the following Monday he was ready to begin sorting the situation out and researching the pertinent information. Of my dealings with lawyers in general, he seemed to be much more human and humane than I had experienced before and given the acute frustration I was going through, it made a big difference. The case was settled sideways through some unusual circumstances and Mr. Belong's services ended up being minimal, however, based on his demeanor and actions I would highly recommend him. I know I feel just a little bit better represented in the world should I ever need to be again and I am keeping his information at the ready just in case...

I only had an over-the-phone consultation with Edrik, but through that I was able to tell that he's an honest and capable lawyer. Whereas I suspect many lawyers may attempt to collect money from you as soon as possible, Edrik was forthcoming enough to give me sincere advice as to why I should or shouldn't hire a lawyer for my legal claim. I could easily tell from just that encounter that Edrik puts the interests of his clients before the interests of himself and that he's certainly someone worth hiring.

Shirazi Law Firm is incredible! I came to them almost a year ago about a sexual harassment case. I was referred by someone who knew them and their skill set well. We got the ball rolling with my case then after a few months I got cold feet, I told them I didn’t want to follow through and they understood. I went back to the place where I was wrongfully harassed because the person was removed from the location but when I came back they treated me very poorly. They were retaliating in many different ways. I got the courage to call Mr. Shirazi again and he said let’s take care of this, no one deserves to be treated this way. He cared about my case and was very sensitive to the subject matter. He is professional and reliable. We continued the lawsuit and I am so happy I did because they made the whole process so easy. Mr Shirazi and his team took everything into their own hands and every few weeks I would get an update of how things were going. He was accessible when I had any questions or concerns and he guided me through the whole thing. He knows what he is doing and he does it well. We settled my case and I wouldn’t have done this with anyone else. They are a great firm!

I was at a very low point of my life when I got terminated from a very popular and huge financial institution. I was dealing with major health issues combined with my livelihood being taken from me. Upon my first conversation with Chris, I felt an immediate connection. He not only showed an interest in me but listened to the facts of my case. When I met Chris in person at his office, he was very polite and professional. I think what impressed me the most was his sincere interest in me and how I had been treated by this Company. He looked online and shared with me the labor laws pertaining to my case due to a wrongful termination. Chris explained the legalities of which I was entitled to and explained with a lot of detail what could be ahead of me. He shared with me the anticipated window of time that my case could more than likely take. He provided with me the choices I could/would be presented with as time would take over in my case. I hired Daniel for a labor law case after speaking to several attorneys because he came across a knowledgeable, understanding, and professional attorney with experience in the field. I was hoping that my initial assessment was correct and though my case dragged on for a long time due to the court system, I was consistently surprised by his work ethics, always returning calls/email and keeping me in the loop even though I now live 3000 miles away in East Coast.

I cannot express the immense gratitude I have for my interaction with Mr. Smith. I found myself in a very challenging and unique situation with a renter's insurance claim. I vetted many attorneys before allowing my intuition to guide me to Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith demonstrated his attention to detail in the consultation process. He carefully read over the documents and gave me an informed assessment of my case. Although, Mr. Smith could not guarantee my desired outcome (as no attorney can), I decided to move forward with the process and hired him. Mr. Smith's WEALTH of knowledge allowed him to find errors in the way my claim was denied. His letter to my insurance company caused them change their initial denial of my claim and in turn they honored my claim. Kathryn helped administer my mom's estate with the utmost professionalism, patience, and warmth. After my mom died last year, I had no idea what to do about her estate, of which I was a trustee. I went to the large law firm which originally drew up her trust, only to find that they were going to charge me a criminal amount for a processing this relatively straightforward trust. After starting work with them, I realized I had to switch, which was painful because I didn't want this to be more complicated than it needed to be. Kathryn was recommended to me by a friend, and not only did she complete the work much more efficiently for a reasonable fee, but she took the time to explain different aspects of the estate which confused me, and recommended certain decisions, whereas the big law firm and the banks I was dealing with did no such thing. None of them could answer questions like "What do people normally do with an inherited IRA?" whereas Kathryn could. Highly recommended!
